In Rocky ground in Substance Designer, you will learn the basic understanding of the PBR Workflow and what to do (or what not to do) to achieve the PBR look. The basic Workflow for Substance Designer and the Quixel Mixer is very important, in order to easily achieve some nice looking results. After that we start with some basic rock shapes in Substance Designer. Once we are happy with our shapes we start to add smaller rocks and pebbles, which will be blended together. In addition to this, we will create some nice looking cracks on the rocks to give it a older look and some history. After we have finished our base in Substance Designer we will switch to the Quixel Mixer, where we will add some dirt and water. In the end I show everybody how to get some nice Renderings in Unreal Engine and in Marmoset Toolbag.

En se posant comme l’éditeur le plus impertinent de l’industrie, Devolver nous aurait presque fait oublier qu’il n’était pas si éloigné des concurrents qu’ils s’amusent à tourner en dérision. Au fil des années, l’entreprise a suffisamment grossi pour entrer en Bourse, ce qui allait un peu à contre-courant de toute l’image « indépendante » qu’elle veut renvoyer. C’est en tout cas de l’histoire ancienne puisque Devolver redevient maintenant une entreprise privée.
Erreur de parcours
Cinq ans après son entrée en Bourse, et après avoir revendu quelques actions à Sony ou encore à NetEase, Devolver revient à son statut précédent. Selon le site This Week in VideoGames, cela a été décidé lors d’un vote des actionnaires le 8 septembre dernier, avec 90 % d’entre eux qui estimaient qu’il était temps que Devolver redevienne une entreprise privée. The Internet Is Losing Its Mind Over Retired NFL Coach Mike Tomlin Spending 12 Years Making A Very Intricate Minecraft City

Mike Tomlin, former head coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers and one of the most successful coaches in NFL history, loves Minecraft. He is completely obsessed with Minecraft. It turns out the NBC Football Night in America analyst has spent the last 12 years building a single Minecraft city, and he’s ready to show it to us all, and it might be the most spectacularly ordinary creation of all time. And the internet is loving it.

I have two favorite things about Tomlin’s Minecraft video: 1) It’s stupendously ordinary. 2) It’s really fantastically, astoundingly ordinary. And I mean both of those as compliments. I adore it.

Tomlin explains in his account’s first YouTube upload that he doesn’t have the “stick control” to play games competitively, but after watching his children play, he discovered Minecraft‘s Creative Mode, fell in love, and began to build. Various offspring have helped him with his project over the last 12 years, with Tomlin first seeing it as a lovely way to spend time with his kids, until eventually they grew out of it while he did not. It was his son Dino who finally convinced him to share this epic project with the world.
