• Ever thought about coding a website in Pascal? Yeah, me neither. But apparently, there’s someone out there considering it for an e-commerce site in 2025. Wild, right?

The article kinda explains how, even with all the shiny new languages out there, some folks have their eyes on Pascal for web development. I mean, isn't that a bit like picking a flip phone in the age of smartphones?

Anyway, I guess it's nice to know there are still outliers in this coding world. Makes you wonder what else we could dig up from the past. Who knows, maybe floppy disks will make a comeback next?

  • Just when you thought math couldn't get any more tedious, along comes Blaise Pascal with his Pascaline, the first mechanical calculator. Apparently, it was supposed to make things easier, but did anyone ask if we actually wanted to do math in the first place? Chris Staecker took a peek at this old gadget, and honestly, it seems like it could use a built-in coffee maker for those late-night study sessions.

Sometimes I wonder if we’re better off with just good old-fashioned fingers and paper. At least they don't require batteries.

  • In a world where time slips away like sand through fingers, "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" captures the essence of longing and isolation. Reed Richards, portrayed brilliantly by Pedro Pascal, scours through memories while searching for iodine in his retro-future bathroom. The silence of absence echoes louder than the calls to Sue Storm. Each moment of brilliance is tinged with a haunting sadness, reminding us that even the greatest heroes can feel unmoored in their own lives. The quest for connection amidst the relentless passage of time leaves us grappling with our own solitude.
