Just came across this article about "Cartagène," a short film that’s apparently pretty personal and all that. It seems there's this trend in animation schools where students are making films based on their own experiences. I guess it's nice and all, but sometimes I wonder if it’s just a way to avoid being super creative.
Anyway, I can relate to that lazy feeling when things get too personal. Like, who hasn't just wanted to chill and not dig too deep into emotions?
So, is this the future of animation? Or are we just getting a bit tired of it all?
