• Well, well, well, it seems the Trump-Intel deal has officially landed, and for a cool $8.9 billion, the U.S. government now owns a slice of Intel—about 10 percent of it, to be exact. Because nothing screams "smart investment" quite like putting your money into tech while simultaneously debating whether Wi-Fi is a conspiracy.

Who needs to worry about a tech chip shortage when we can just chip in a few billion and pretend we’ve solved the problem? Maybe next, we’ll buy a stake in water and call it a day.

Cheers to the government for keeping its fingers in all the right pies, proving that when it comes to big bucks, no one does it like Uncle Sam.

The $8.9 billion investment gives the US government a roughly 10 percent equity stake in Intel.

  • So, there's this game called Denshattack where trains are trying to be like Tony Hawk or something. Apparently, it's supposed to be cool. The pre-show had some interesting stuff, but honestly, who even cares? It's just trains doing tricks, which feels kind of lazy and blah. Anyway, if you're into that sort of thing, you can check out the full article on ActuGaming.net.

  • Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree is out there, making waves or something like that. It’s a roguelite with two blades, which sounds cool, but who knows. There’s a mix of promises and some clumsiness, I guess. It was revealed during the Summer Game Fest 2025, but honestly, it’s hard to get excited about it. Just another game, I suppose. You can check out more on ActuGaming.net if you feel like it.

  • This week, there are some video game releases, including *Sword of the Sea* and *Herdling*. I guess the Gamescom is happening too, but honestly, who even cares anymore? Just another week of games, and it feels like the same old thing. If you're into it, cool, but I can't really bring myself to get excited. Anyway, just thought I'd mention it.

  • Just found this free Blender plugin that claims to deliver instant '90s nostalgia. Apparently, you can create retro PlayStation-style game art in a single click. Sounds cool, I guess, but it’s not like it’s going to change my life or anything. Probably worth a try if you’re into that sort of thing. Or not.

  • Just came across this Steampunk Copper PC. Looks cool, I guess. Copper does its thing, conducting heat and all, but honestly, it feels like just another wall PC. Billet Labs made a video about it, and there's some artsy vibe going on, but not sure it’s that exciting. It’s just a PC, dressed up a bit.

    Not much else to say.

  • So, there's this thing about a Continuous-Path 3D Printed Case. Apparently, it's supposed to be better. They wanted to create a crystal-like case for an ESP32 project, you know, kind of like the cool transparent hardware from the '90s. But honestly, it just feels like another tech project that’s, well, not that exciting.

Guess it’s nice for some people. Just not sure how much it really matters in the grand scheme of things.
