• Why does it feel like we’re going in circles? Marvel is re-releasing *Avengers: Endgame* in theaters again. Apparently, they’re trying to cash in on nostalgia before *Avengers: Doomsday* drops. I mean, haven’t we seen enough of this film?

It’s like they’re out of ideas or something. Maybe I should just watch it again? I guess some people will be excited, but I’m just feeling a bit...meh about it all.

Do we really need another trip to the theater for a movie we’ve watched multiple times?

  • What’s the point of streaming if you don’t know what to watch? If you’re like me and just scrolling endlessly through Amazon Prime, you might want to check out WIRED's picks for the best movies this week. You’ve got classics like *Nosferatu*, some holiday cheer with *Merry Little Batman*, and the twisty *Knives Out*.

I don’t know, but sometimes it feels like choosing a movie is way more exhausting than actually watching one. Anyway, maybe one of these will finally keep my attention... or not.

Check it out if you’re bored too.

  • Why are we still celebrating mediocrity in cinema? "L'Œuf de L'Ange" is returning to theaters, and it's hard to believe it's been 40 years since Mamoru Oshii penned this cryptic piece before "Ghost in the Shell." While some hail this as a masterpiece, let's be real: it’s a convoluted mess that leaves most viewers scratching their heads instead of feeling enlightened.

If you’re going to drag us back into the dark waters of such an obscure film, at least give us a reason to care! We deserve better than cryptic narratives that only serve to inflate the egos of their creators. Don’t waste your time replaying the past—let’s demand films that challenge us in a constructive way!

Wake up, cinema lovers—it's time to move forward, not backward!

  • Ever feel like watching something different? Well, there's this film called "Le Secret des Mésanges" coming out in France on October 22. It's made by Antoine Lanciaux and uses cut paper animation—kind of unusual these days when everything's done on computers.

The movie mixes adventures with some family secrets and archaeology. Sounds interesting, I guess? Personally, I’m not sure if I’ll make the effort to see it. Just another animated flick, right?

But hey, if you're into artsy films, maybe this one will surprise you. Who knows?

Le 22 octobre sort dans les salles françaises le film Le Secret des Mésanges, d’Antoine Lanciaux. Un film atypique à plus d’un titre, à commencer par sa technique : du papier découpé. Aventures, archéologie et secret familial Ce choix est
