WWW.GADGETS360.COMGhost of Yotei Sets October 2 Release Date, New Trailer Reveals Revenge Story, Pre-Order Details and MoreSony revealed the release date, new story details and new gameplay for Sucker Punch's Ghost of Yotei in a surprise announcement on Wednesday. The action-adventure title, a follow-up to 2020's Ghost of Tsushima, is coming exclusively to PlayStation 5 on October 2. The second trailer for the game details the protagonist Atsu's quest for revenge against six masked outlaws who killed her family and left her for dead, and shows off stunning visuals, new weapons and more.Ghost of Yotei Release Date Announced With New TrailerThe new trailer, titled “The Onryō's List,” features a mix of gameplay and in-game cinematics and charts Atsu's path of vengeance. A gang of outlaws, known as the Yotei Six, killed her family and left her dying, pinned to a burning tree. But Atsu survived, left home and trained to fight and hunt. Sixteen years later, she's back in Ezo with a list of six names — The Snake, The Oni, The Kitsune, The Spider, The Dragon and Lord Saito. The premise is a familiar revenge story, seen in films like Kill Bill, or the recently released Assassin's Creed Shadows. The game will track Atsu as she hunts down the Yotei Six one by one and strikes off their names from her list. On her way, she'll also explore the Ezo region surrounding Mount Yotei and forge new allies. The trailer also showed a new spear weapon for Atsu, stunning environments and a new gameplay mechanic that lets players step into Atsu's past.“In Ghost of Yōtei, we've built upon and evolved the way you explore the open world, offering even more freedom and variety than in Ghost of Tsushima,” Sucker Punch said in a PlayStation Blog post announcing the release date and new details for the game. “You'll choose which leads to follow as you pick which Yōtei Six member you want to hunt down first.”In addition to the main quest, Atsu can also hunt down bounties, seek out weapon sensei to learn new skills and explore the wilderness. Some of the side activities from Ghost of Tsushima will return, Sucker Punch said — perhaps the Haiku writing? Atsu will also be able to put down a campfire anywhere in the open world and rest, much like Red Dead Redemption 2.Ghost of Yotei will come in standard, digital deluxe and collector's editionsPhoto Credit: Sony/ Sucker PunchGhost of Yotei Pre-Order Details, EditionsFinally, Sucker Punch also revealed pre-order details for Ghost of Yotei. The game will be available to pre-purchase starting May 2 at 10am local time. Players can choose between a standard edition, a digital deluxe version and a collector's edition.Pre-ordering any edition will grant players a unique in-game mask and a set of seven PSN avatars featuring concept art of Atsu and each member of the Yotei Six at launch. PlayStation Store pre-orders will get the avatars immediately. The digital deluxe edition will include in-game bonuses like The Snake's armor set and an alternate dye for the starting armor, a unique horse color and unique saddle dye, an in-game Charm, gold Sword Kit and an early unlock of Traveler's Maps. The collector's edition can only be pre-ordered on direct.playstation.com in supported regions, or at select retailers in other markets. In addition to all pre-order bonuses and digital deluxe edition benefits, the collector's edition will come with replicas of Atsu's Ghost mask, her sash, and the Tsuba from her katana; a pouch of coins and instructions to play Zeni Hajiki, a skill-based game in Ghost of Yotei; a foldable papercraft ginkgo tree with a wolf at its base; and a set of four 5 x 7-inch art cards featuring the sash, the wolf, Atsu's Ghost mask and key art from the game.Ghost of Yotei arrives exclusively on PS5 on October 2 and is available to wishlist on the PlayStation Store.0 Yorumlar 0 hisse senetleri 24 Views

Just my opinion as someone who has spent a decade in marketing, "all press is good press" is a common fallacy haha. Doesn't mean a game can't turn around from less-than-stellar first impressions, but if the impressions are poor (which I have no real reason to believe they will be here), I promise no one at Bungie is going to be saying "well, on the bright side at least people are talking about us!" After watching unedited (and less edited) games media clips of their test (as well as some from those players who got on early) it seems clear to me that PvP is far less frequent than we were led to believe. At least on Dire Marsh. RoboPlato Member Oct 25, 2017 8,186 Patitoloco said: Lifting the NDA does sound like they're confident in what they have IMO It's free publicity. Click to expand... It makes sense to drop the NDA so people can stream and discuss it, people not in the test can better see the flow of a match, and they can get wider feedback for the final push in development. Realistically it was one of the only moves they had, the alpha build was already set, but it was smart and I'm glad they made the decision before the test started behOemoth Member Oct 27, 2017 6,647 Having no nda for such kind of games makes sense as "meta" team play is what makes it fun. WWW.POLYGON.COMBlizzard’s latest major Diablo 4 rework targets the battle passWhen Diablo 4’s eighth season launches on April 29, the battle pass will look completely different. Instead of a linear track, it will be split into categories, or Reliquaries, for you to chase after specific types of cosmetic tweaks for your demon slayer. Like a lot of popular live service games that have introduced more choices in their battle passes, Blizzard’s goal is to make it fit with how people actually play Diablo 4.There were three problems with the old battle passes, senior manager of game design Dan Tanguay told Polygon in a recent interview: The rewards “didn’t feel meaningful enough,” they were “intrinsically tied to seasons,” and they had a general “lack of agency.”In my experience, this is all true. I’d hop into a new Diablo 4 season, maybe take a peek at the battle pass page, then inevitably forget about it until I felt like clearing the notification telling me something new had unlocked. And a lot of times, the new cosmetic was for a class I wasn’t actively playing, which made me care about it even less.1/3Image: Blizzard EntertainmentThat seems to be the kind of experience Blizzard is trying to avoid with Reliquaries, a reinvention of the battle pass that lets you pick the rewards you want first. There’s still a price attached. Three of the four categories have an up-front cost before you can start unlocking their rewards, like mini premium battle passes. But if all you care about is the glowing tiger from the Beasts Reliquary instead of the fancy sword from the Weapons Reliquary, you can just skip it. And players who don’t bother starting a new character every season will now have access to the system on the game’s Eternal Realm, too.Tanguay said the team felt the old battle pass stuck out in an action RPG that’s all about satisfying decision-making. “You’re choosing basically all the choices that comprise your build, you’re choosing how you look, and we then have a battle pass that’s just highly, highly linear and very deterministic, and it’s like, ‘Wow, there’s just not a lot of choice here,’” he said. Each Reliquary reward costs Favor, a new currency you can only earn by mowing down monsters as you play. Everyone will be able to spend it on cosmetics from the free Reliquary for the duration of the season. Event Reliquaries, like the one launching with Diablo 4’s Berserk collab in May, will show up for a limited time and require a unique currency. Tanguay couldn’t confirm whether returning events will have their own Reliquaries, but said the team is still “talking through” those opportunities. The Reliquary system is another step in Blizzard’s ongoing approach to reworking parts of the game that have fallen behind. Tanguay added that by disconnecting battle passes from seasons, Blizzard can do more with the Season Journey, which is a free set of challenges, like killing bosses and completing dungeons, that reward loot and cosmetics. These were often so straightforward that you’d complete them accidentally. But Tanguay said the team is trying to get players to “stretch and do more aspirational type of content” to complete the later chapters. I spotted one for season 8 that asks you to defeat one of the endgame bosses using a specific seasonal power, which should be fun to figure out how to accomplish once the new season opens.See More: Diablo 4PlaystationPlaystation logoPlaystationPlaystation logoWindowsWindows logoXboxXbox logoXboxXbox logoExplore The GameWhy it mattersLike Diablo 3, Diablo 4 took a while to find its feet, but a major 2024 update turned it into the hugely gratifying and compulsive loot-hunting game it always threatened to be.— Oli Welsh, Senior Editor, U.K.BUY AT:0 Yorumlar 0 hisse senetleri 54 Views

WWW.POLYGON.COMA Gentle Rain is a cozy board game where you practice mindfulnessPracticing mindfulness is often an intimidating prospect. You’re tasked with being still, noticing things inside and outside of your body, and most challenging of all, not really thinking about anything. But what if you could practice that skill while also playing a little 15-minute solo board game? That’s what A Gentle Rain offers.Designed by Kevin Wilson (Arkham Horror, Descent: Journeys in the Dark, the Kinfire Chronicles series) and currently published by Incredible Dream Studios, A Gentle Rain is a tableau-building game where one or more players pull random squares and place them on the table, with the ultimate goal of growing lotus blossoms. Each square has four half-flowers, which you must match up with half-flowers of the same color that are already on the board. A yellow half-flower links up with another yellow half-flower, for instance, to make one full flower. If you match four tiles up in a square, you’ll reveal a circular pocket that perfectly fits one of eight plastic lotus blossoms.Technically, A Gentle Rain can be scored. But I don’t care about that. Instead, even after several rounds of the game solo and with friends, I care most about blossoming all eight lotuses in one game, which I’ve only accomplished once so far. And as I mentioned, it really functions as a way to practice mindfulness: You must take the time to notice each color on the square you pull, then take note of each square on the board. It is impossible to make the game go faster, because there are no extra steps. Instead, you just have to sit there, breathe, feel the soft matte square in your hand, and maybe turn it a few times to think about where it’ll fit. And look at that — suddenly you’re sitting still, noticing sensations, and not really thinking about anything.I picked up A Gentle Rain during a week where I really needed it. My family was dealing with something terrible, the last dregs of my winter depression were rearing their head, and the news was unavoidable and filled with atrocities. I didn’t want to avoid those things completely by immersing myself in some fantastical world or complicated game, but I didn’t want to face them head-on, either. After a few rounds of A Gentle Rain, I genuinely felt calmer, and I spent the next few days playing a round before work, after dinner, or before heading to bed.Is the game making me meditate? Not quite. But it is doing a great job of reminding my body what it feels like to slow down, look inward, and spend some time just being. Pretty good for a $20 board game you can grab at Target, right?See More:0 Yorumlar 0 hisse senetleri 55 Views

WCCFTECH.COMSouth of Midnight – Where To Find All Notes – Chapter 12South of Midnight has more than 100 notes to find across all 14 chapters. Each note adds a good deal of context to the story and the past trauma's Hazel is uncovering, so it's worth your time to seek them all out. This guide will tell you where to find all the notes in Chapter 12. South of Midnight - Where To Find All Notes - Chapter 12 There are more notes in Chapter 12 than in any other individual level in South of Midnight, with 19 total notes to find. At least it makes Chapter 13 a much easier ordeal, with only two notes left to check off after grabbing all of the notes in Chapter 12. There are no notes in the final chapter of the game. Should I Leave? - Right at the beginning of the chapter, follow the main path directly in front of you and you'll come to a sign post pointing in multiple directions, with a tree stump to its right. This first note is resting on the stump. Should I Stay? - After following the sign towards the Town on the Tapestry twice, a carriage with a ghostly warthog will appear. This note will be on the same stump where you found the first note. The Record Keeps Skipping - When you walk inside the carriage, you'll see it's bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. This note can be found next to the gramophone at the end of the hall. Milk and Sugar, Love? - This note is a few steps ahead of the previous note, below a giant portrait of a family on a silver tray with a tea set. Ring, Ring - As you follow the guiding strands deeper into Roux's carriage, you'll find this note attached to the handlebars of a tricycle, just a few steps from the previous note. Roux's Limerance - Continue following the guiding strands. You'll find this note on the second floor of Roux's carriage, on a table right at the top of the stairs next to a stuffed turtle. The Hungry Maw - From the previous note, you'll find this one stuck to a red refrigerator on the right side of the room. Still Stars Don't Remember - You'll find this note after the first combat encounter of the level, on the right side of the arena next to a box you can move to reach a Floof knot in the area. Joe Goodfellow, 74 - Before jumping into the wind tunnel, you can see from finding the previous note, you'll find this note stuck to a door, to the right of the window where you can look in and see the echo of an old man down on one knee. The Many Little Things - After using the wind tunnel and wall-running to reach the next platform, turn to your left to find this note lying on a lawn chair. Hollowed Love - Just ahead of where you found the previous note, you'll find this one on a table on the left side of the balcony. Spit It Out - Keeping following the guiding strands and use the next wind tunnel on the path. When you land, turn right and you should be able to see a health filament in the distance. Turn right again to go around the building on the right side of the street, and you'll find this note on a table around the corner. Ella Mae, 7 - Follow the guiding strands until you reach a neon sign for Gouldeau’s Jazz, and instead of continuing straight ahead, jump to the platform lower down to your right. Head straight ahead up the stairs, and you'll find this note stuck to the second door on your right, next to another window where you can look in and see an echo of a little girl praying in her bed. I miss, I miss, I miss - While standing in front of the door with the previous note, turn around and look down to see the echo of a platform you can conjure. Jump to that platform, then use the grapple to get back to solid ground and you'll find this note on a table behind a Floof knot. Would Be Beautiful - After the second combat encounter of the level, follow the path until Hazel calls out to another ghostly spirit, only to be ignored. Stopping where she calls out, turn around and you'll see a sign for the 'Mesmerizing Roux' that you can pull on. Pull it and jump to the platform it reveals, then head left to find this note and a Floof knot. Tempest Hamlin, 42 - Continue to follow the path from the little detour you took to find the previous note, and you'll find this note stuck to a door on the left side of the path, next to another sign advertising Roux's show and a window you can look into with the echo of a woman repeatedly taking a bow. Passage - On the second level of the clock tower, after using the first giant gear to slowly bring you up to the next platform, you'll find this note across the gap and on a table next to a box of gears you can pick up and throw. I'm Trying - As you continue to climb the clock tower, at one point you'll use your grapple to land in front of an elevator shaft. Keep following the main path from here by jumping through the hole of the giant gear, and you'll come across this note on a stool on your path with a gear resting against the wall and a light above it. You Gotta Release It - After the combat encounter at the top of the clock tower, head outside and before jumping into the wind tunnel, turn left and you'll find this note resting on a box, with a Floof knot steps away from it at the back of the balcony. That's where all 19 notes are found in South of Midnight's Chapter 12. If you've followed along with these guides so far, you'll have found 101 out of 103 notes. Only two more to go, and they're both in Chapter 13. Products mentioned0 Yorumlar 0 hisse senetleri 58 Views
