The higher the skill, the more it costs to train.It’s worth the price once you have earned a tidy sum of gold, however. These DeepMind employees are reportedly unhappy about Google’s decision to remove a pledge not to use AI for weapons or surveillance from its website. They’re also concerned about the company’s work with the Israeli military, including a $1.2 billion cloud computing contract that has prompted protests elsewhere at Google. One source told the FT that team members feel “duped,” and correspondence reportedly shows that at least five DeepMind staff members have quit citing these issues. DeepMind has around  2,000 total staff members in the United Kingdom.  A Google spokesperson told the FT that the company encourages “constructive and open dialogue with all of our employees.” A small group of around 200 employees of Google and its parent company Alphabet previously announced that they were unionizing, though as a union representing just a tiny slice of the total Google workforce, it lacked the ability to collectively bargain. In one of the more common disputes of modern AI, Ziff Davis, IGN Entertainment and Everyday Health Media have sued Open AI for copyright infringement. The lawsuit from the media companies alleged copyright infringement, violations of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), unjust enrichment and trademark dilution. IGN and Everyday Health Media are divisions of Ziff Davis. Ziff Davis alleged, “OpenAI has intentionally and relentlessly reproduced exact copies and created derivatives of Ziff Davis works without Ziff Davis’ authorization. The lawsuit said OpenAI has knowingly copied the text of Ziff Davis’ web sites without authorization and violated Ziff Davis’ written demands to stop. It also said OpenAI stripped out copyright management information from Ziff Davis works. And then it alleges Open AI passes this work off as its own. The lawsuit OpenAI falsely attributes output to Ziff Davis that is not Ziff Davis content. A spokesperson for OpenAI said, “ChatGPT helps enhance human creativity, advance scientific discovery and medical research, and enable hundreds of millions of people to improve their daily lives. Our models empower innovation, and are trained on publicly available data and grounded in fair use.” The Association of Research Libraries provides some context on the dispute. Ziff Davis said it has published high-quality journalism for nearly 100 years, growing from its roots as the publisher of Popular Aviation to its current stewardship of over 45 diverse digital media publications and internet brands, including IGN, Mashable, CNET, ZDNet, PCMag, Lifehacker, BabyCenter, and Everyday Health. Having more of the currency, naturally, makes playthroughs a breeze, especially if you can buy the stuff you need.How to get more gold and Allowance Tokens in Blue Prince - Gold-making guideThere are several ways to earn more gold in the game. Generally speaking, you could find gold lying around in rooms and in dirt piles:Some rooms have gold that you can pick up by default--i.e. Pantry and Storeroom.You might also spot coins on the floor. Even better, if you have a Metal Detector, it will beep whenever a type of resource or item is nearby.If you have a Shovel, you can dig dirt piles, some of which yield coins, too.Certain treasure maps lead you to special dig spots. Your reward, the Coffers of Mt. Holly, may contain gold and other resources. Rooms where you can obtain a lot of goldThere are several rooms that allow you to get more gold in Blue Prince:Vault - Has a pile of coins on the desk.Casino - If you want to test your luck, you can place bets and, hopefully, win big.Treasure Trove - The Treasure Trove gains +5 gold whenever you draft it. The more times you plop it down, the more gold you earn. Increase your starting gold via Allowance TokensAfter obtaining your first Allowance Token in Blue Prince, an envelope will appear on the desk in the Entrance Hall. You can open this at the beginning to each run to receive additional starting gold. From here, all Allowance Tokens you acquire will continue to increase your gold from the envelope.Below are some Blue Prince Allowance Token locations. Note that most of these come from Mora Jai puzzle boxes that you need to solve first.Manor roomsCloister - Press the two hidden buttons at the lower section of the pillars when facing the front of the statue. Pick up the Allowance Token at the back of the statue.Cloister of Lydia upgrade - This upgrade lets you gain +2 to your gold allowance whenever you draft a shop from the Cloister. (Thanks to Discord user Ket.)Quest Bedroom upgrade - This upgrade for the Guest Bedroom nets you +2 gold allowance if you draft it and enter the Antechamber on the same day. To be frank, this option pales in comparison to Geist Bedroom, which offers more Ivory Dice for rerolls.Master's Bedroom, Solarium, and Closed Exhibit - Found inside Mora Jai puzzle boxes.Vault - The Vault Keys you acquire unlock deposit boxes that contain Allowance Tokens and other clues.Room 8 - Solve the Room 8 Puzzle to receive this reward.Tunnel - Draft eight consecutive Tunnel rooms in a straight line going to the north. The last Tunnel room has a Mora Jai puzzle box.Throne Room - You must reclaim the crown to spawn this Mora Jai puzzle box.Outer roomsTrading Post - Complete the Mora Jai puzzle box in the area.Trading Post - Some valuable items can be exchanged for Allowance Tokens, too.Tomb - Bring something that can light candles/torches. Then, light the two candelabras along the left wall.Clock Tower - If you've already solved the Clock Tower Puzzle inside the manor. You can draft it outside using Blessing of the Monk. Solving the puzzle again nets you an Allowance Token. Nearby, you'll also spot a Mora Jai puzzle box.Reservoir - One of the chests in the basin after fully draining the Reservoir has a few Allowance Tokens.Inner Sanctum - You must first obtain the Sanctum Keys so you can solve the Sigil Puzzles. Once you're done with each puzzle, you can check the nook off to the side for a Mora Jai puzzle box. The fastest way to earn more goldIf you really want more gold in Blue Prince, then look no further than the Laboratory experiments cheese. Before you can do this, though, you need to obtain all Microchips so you can place them in the Sundial. Doing so nets you additional experiment triggers and effects.The effect that you're looking for is the one that increases your gold allowance. As for the causes/triggers, here are your best options:If you have a Nursery: Nurse's Station upgrade, pick the trigger where you lose steps when you open your map. Since the Nurse's Station restores your steps back to 20, you can gain allowance boosts indefinitely.If you have a Shovel and you drafted the Root Cellar, pick the one that procs when you dig up trash/garbage from dirt piles.One last option is if you have a Keycard, and if you're able to draft the Security and Utility Closet. You can tweak the setting to have a higher number of security-locked doors.
