    S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobylhas looked ridiculously gorgeous in all that weve seen of it so far, and with its release right around the corner, its clear that its going to be one of the most technically impressive games of the year (at the very least). Those looking to ensure that the game maintains the highest possible performance and resolution targets will also be able to do so, with its PC version confirmed to support DLSS 3.As explained by Nvidia, on PC, the open world first-person shooter will benefit from an average of 2.4x performance improvements for those playing with GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics cards. With an RTX 4070, for instance, you an go from 30 FPS to 70 FPS, while on the other end of the spectrum, with an RTX 4090, youll be able to surpass 120 FPS.Additionally, the company has also confirmed that the game will feature support for Nvidia Reflex at launch, which will allow for up to 45 percent reductions in latency.Another upcoming major release,Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024,will also feature DLSS 3 support on PC at launch.     Photo credit: landADAPTThe CSLA has announceda new continuing education program on climate change adaptation for Canadian landscape architects.The program, called landADAPT: Landscape Architects Navigating and Designing for Adaptation, aims to help landscape architects by developing tools and communication resources tailored for the profession.CSLAs landADAPT program will include a monthly webinar series, a series of climate change case studies, and a new online professional development course designed specifically for Canadian landscape architects.As part of the program, CSLA will host up to 16 live-streamed webinar events over the next two years. The webinars will feature experts from across Canada and a global network who will highlight climate change challenges.An upcoming webinar, which will take place on December 12, 2024, will feature Joanna Eyquem, who will discuss progress and examples of efforts to mainstream consideration of nature-based solutions. This will range from strategic approaches and technical guidance, to integration in municipal management and financial reporting.The CSLA will also curate a series of Canadian case studies, and put a spotlight on adaptive and resilient landscape architecture projects. Case studies will serve as educational tools, bolster CSLAs advocacy efforts, and empower members to make the business case for adaptation measures to their clients and/or target audiences.Additionally, the CSLA is preparing and delivering a new online professional development course to provide members with the latest in climate data, risk assessments, and adaptation strategies to support their practice.
