Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is heading to Game Pass this weekKeeping it wheel.Image credit: Activision Blizzard News by Matt Wales News Reporter Published on Dec. 3, 2024 Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled - the spruce-up of the racer once referred to as "objectively loads better" than Mario Kart by Eurogamer's Chris Tapsell, causing eyebrows to catapult clean off people's faces - is making its way to Game Pass this Wednesday, 4th December.Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is, of course, developer Beenox's effervescent remaster of 1999 PlayStation cult classic Crash Team Racing, which - alongside a significant audio-visual makeover - introduced elements from 2003's Crash Nitro Kart and 2005's Crash Tag Team Racing. "[It's] is a gold-standard remaster," Chris Tapsell wrote in his review back in 2019, "capturing the loveably janky, off-brand spirit of classic CTR - and then some." "It's just plain, dumb fun, a game completely unashamed of itself even now," he continued. "I think that's probably why, even beyond the enormously generous treatment it's had from Beenox... CTR is still one of the best kart racers ever made." He then slapped it with a Eurogamer Essential, whereupon heads across the world began to explode, Scanners-style.Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is the first game to be confirmed for Microsoft's December Game Pass line-up (you'll find November's over here). It's also the latest in a slow trickle of Activision Blizzard titles to have hit the subscription service - following on from the likes of Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Diablo 4, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 - since Microsoft's $69bn acquisition of the publisher last year. And if you're not already a Game Pass subscriber, you might be interested to hear Microsoft recently reinstated its previous 1/$1 14-day trial offer - but only for PC.

  • Call of Duty teases Squid Game crossover for early next year

Call of Duty teases Squid Game crossover for early next yearNetflix and kill.Image credit: Activision News by Matt Wales News Reporter Published on Dec. 2, 2024 There's another Call of Duty collaboration on the way. Following crossovers from the likes of Tomb Raider, Crash Bandicoot, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and The Boys, Activision has revealed it's teaming up with Netflix to shove the streaming service's hugely popular Squid Game TV series into Black Ops 6 and Warzone early next year.Squid Game, which follows a group of players attempting to survive a series of deadly children's games in order to win a BIG CASH PRIZE, took the world by storm when it first aired on Netflix back in 2021. It's been a long time coming, but the show is finally set to return for a second series on 26th December, and Netflix's promotional efforts are now in full swing. And so enter Call of Duty. Activision unveiled its impending Squid Game crossover via a thirty second teaser trailer, in which a dashingly behatted Operator discovers a mysterious envelope emblazoned with symbols one 'X' away from a PlayStation copyright claim. It all ends with the Call of Duty logo emerging in a sequence reminiscent of Squid Game's opening titles, after which we're informed the collaboration is set to begin in January 2025.Call of Duty x Squid Game teaser trailer.Watch on YouTubeBeyond that, specifics are limited to the point of non-existent. We do know the crossover is coming to both Black Ops 6 and Warzone early next year, but whether it'll offer anything more substantial than romper-suit-style premium cosmetics remains to be seen.Call of Duty's Squid Game collaboration won't be the first digital take on the hit Korean television show to barrel out in conjunction with Netflix's season two promotions, however. The streaming service's own internally developed Squid Game Unleashed - a multiplayer "party royale" for iOS and Android devices - launches for subscribers on 17th December. It's just one of more than 80 titles currently in development as part of Netflix's continuing push into the world of gaming, although one of its most intriguing projects - a new AAA game led by Halo creative head Joseph Staten - has now been cancelled. As for Call of Duty, it seems to be having a strong 2024. Microsoft recently announced Black Ops 6 managed to set a record for most "Game Pass subscribers adds on launch day" - a record previously held by Starfield following its launch last year.

  • Broken Fortnite Chapter 6 glitch allows players to travel miles

Rest assured, all imagery and advice is unique and original. Check out how we test and review games hereFortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 has brought numerous new movement mechanics that has significantly increased the pace of gameplay. These movements further allow players to keep the action running, whether theyre escaping a sweaty combat situation or outrunning the storm.Similarly new items such as Wind Sprites and Typhoon Blade are also great ways for players to traverse the island faster than just sprinting. However, players have now found an exploit using the new item which lets them travel miles across the island.Fortnite Typhoon Blade exploit allows Chapter 6 players to travel larger distancesFortnite has released a new item called Typhoon Blade which is basically a samurai sword that can register quick slashes on enemies nearby. However, the blade also allows you to Dash quickly using its Wind abilities and hit a Cyclone Slash to an enemy afar.Players can switch quickly between the Typhoon Blade Dash and a weapon to perform the glitch. Image by Jykd. But a glitch method where you swap between a weapon in your inventory slot and a Typhoon Blade in quick succession allows you to travel further. To do so, simply swap to another weapon as soon as you use dash using your Typhoon Blade and then swap back to the blade rapidly.Keep repeating this process and keep in mind to initiate it when youre on a high ground. This will then propel you forward faster and would throw you as far as over 1,000 meters on the Fortnite island. While the glitch is not yet patched, its best performed when youre using a controller. However if youre on a keyboard and mouse input method, use the mouse scroll wheel to swap back and forth quickly while you spam the dash button.Still, its not guaranteed that this method would work for you since it requires a certain learning curve to master it. But once you do it, youll have no issues outrunning the storm or even reaching a teammate who is in danger. • Easy Fortnite XP glitch levels up faster in Chapter 6, but theres a catch

You can trust VideoGamer. Our team of gaming experts spend hours testing and reviewing the latest games, to ensure you're reading the most comprehensive guide possible. Rest assured, all imagery and advice is unique and original. Check out how we test and review games hereFortnite Chapter 6 is here and changes things drastically when it comes to Battle Pass and XP progression. Earning XP in any Fortnite mode now levels up your Battle Pass, LEGO Pass, and Music Pass, all simultaneously. While this is a move made by Epic to simplify passes and XP for Fortnite players who like to grind to get their hands on these exclusive free rewards, some are purely abusing the system to use XP glitches to level up faster.Among those methods, a new LEGO mode method has emerged in Chapter 6 that is already leveling up players and granting them enough XP to progress 30 levels further but theres a catch.Fortnite patches AFK XP Glitch for LEGO mode in Chapter 6Fortnite has just now introduced a patch to remove the exploit that players were using earlier today in LEGO Fortnite to gain large amounts of XP and progress along their Battle Pass faster.Fortnite players can use the Sandbox LEGO mode for the glitch. Image by ShiinaBR.In order to carry out the glitch, players had to create a Sandbox world and turn Player Eliminations Off and then launch the world in a random seed. Once you spawn, just move your character every 15 minutes or use a controller to keep the sticks tied to a position where your character keeps moving. Now go AFK for around 2.5 hours and return to your screen. Then return to lobby and youll see the insane amounts of XP granted to you as youll have progressed about 20 levels on your Battle Pass. However now the glitch has been patched as Epic has changed the AFK XP value in LEGO Fortnite from 1,900 XP in a minute to 1 XP in a minute and removed XP being rewarded 2.5 hours later, according to iFireMonkey. But if you managed to get inside your Sandbox world already and havent updated your game yet, you can easily attempt the glitch and use it to enjoy the riches. 10 Cubes Challenge 2024, Prompt 1: Tiny Workplace By Bart on December 2, 2024 Contests The yearly, most restrictive Blender Artists forum challenge is back! Let the insane restriction of using only 10 cubes (or rather, cuboids) inspire you!16 Years ago, Sterling wrote:It seems that blender is losing more and more of its limitations, but sometimes having limitations can push creativity. so lets take it back a step or two. try modeling an object, any object using just cubes. some ground rules might help to further limit you.And in those 16 years Blender became much more powerful indeed! But all of that wont help you in this challenge. You get 10 cubes that you can move and scale any way you like. The ground plane is free. Before continuing, please read this announcement for the full set of rules.Prompt 1: Tiny WorkspaceThe first prompt is Tiny Workspace! The workshop itself could be tiny, or it could be a workshop for tiny things.Make a smithy for ants! Make a tiny lathe! Make your own topic and post one (or several!) submissions.
