Apple has released iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2, which means local language access to Apple Intelligence is now available to iPhone, Mac, and iPad users in the UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand. (Theyve had to set their language to US English to use these features until now; users will need to update their software first, as it rolls out.)Its a critical release that puts direct, local language access to Apple Intelligence into the hands of tens of millions of new users. The release also introduces several additional tools to the Apple Intelligence arsenal, including new Writing Tools and integrated access to ChatGPT for some tasks. Then:In Chrome, click menu > Cast, save, and share > Install page as appIn Edge, click menu > Apps > Install this site as an appUnfortunately, this option isnt available in Firefox and it isnt available out of the box for many sites in Brave, either. Where its supported, though, the web page will get its own unique window with its own taskbar icon and shortcut, freeing it from the confines of a typical browser tab.Turning regular browser tabs into apps may be the best way to integrate Googles web apps with Windows.Chris Hoffman, IDGWindows tab trick #4: Save across sessionsIf you use lots of browser tabs, youll usually lose them whenever your browser closes but you dont have to let that happen. With a quick bit of planning, you can tell your browser to remember its open tabs across sessions. To do so:In Chrome, click menu > Settings. Choose On startup at the left side of the page, and then select Continue where you left off.In Edge, click menu > Settings. Choose Start, home, and new tabs at the left side of the page, and then select Open tabs from previous session under When Edge starts.In Firefox, click menu > Settings. Choose General on the left, and then activate Open previous windows and tabs under Startup.In Brave, click menu > Settings. Choose Get started on the left, and then select Continue where you left off under On startup.If you have a single browser window open and close it, your open tabs in that window will appear the next time you open your browser. If you have multiple windows with open tabs, be sure to choose the Exit option from your browsers menu rather than closing windows one by one. That will ensure your browser remembers all its open tabs and opens all of them when you start back again.If you dont want to lose tabs, tell your browser to remember them.Chris Hoffman, IDGWindows tab trick #5: Go for groupingYou can also create tab groups to better organize your browsing. Your groups will be saved to your bookmarks bar so you can come back to them later, and theyll sync across your devices. This feature is most powerful in Chrome, but Edge and Brave have many of the same features. (Unfortunately, while Firefox had a similar feature in the past, its since been removed.)To start using tab groups, right-click a tab on your browsers tab bar and select the Add tab to new group option. To see how this works, take a look at everything you need to know about Tab Groups in Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers.Tab Groups may be the most interesting browser feature many people havent used yet.Chris Hoffman, IDGWindows tab trick #6: Bookmark windows as foldersWhile tab groups are great, Im also a fan of the old-fashioned way of saving groups of tabs for later as a bookmark folder. To do this, right-click an empty spot in your browsers tab bar and select Bookmark All Tabs or press Ctrl+Shift+D. (In Firefox, youll have to select all tabs from the right-click menu and then right-click a second time to bookmark them.)Consider placing the bookmark folder somewhere easy to access, like your browsers bookmarks bar. You can then come back later and find them right there. Right-click the folder and select Open all to easily reopen them. When youre done, you can delete the folder.Theres no substitute for a good old-fashioned bookmarks folder when it comes to saving tabs for later.Chris Hoffman, IDGWindows tab trick #7: Reopen a closed tabWant to get a tab back? Just right-click an empty spot on your browsers tab bar and select Reopen closed tab or Reopen closed window whatever you closed last.You can also press Ctrl+Shift+T to reopen your last closed tab. For more, check out this list of excellent tab-related keyboard shortcuts.Windows tab trick #8: Try a vertical tab barFor a more transformative tab experience, try using a browser that places your tabs in a vertical sidebar rather than the typical tab bar across the top of the window. Many PC power users swear by this especially on wide-screen displays.Google Chrome doesnt have this built-in, but you can install a browser extension such as the Vertical Tabs in Side Panel extension.Microsoft Edge has this built-in! Just right-click an empty spot in the tab bar and select Turn on vertical tabs.Mozilla Firefox doesnt have this built in, either, although there are signs Mozilla might be experimenting with it. The Tree Style Tab extension is an excellent option for Firefox users.Brave has this feature already built in, too. Despite a seeming lack of consumer interest, Apple continues to plow ahead in researching future foldable iPhones, iPads, and Macs that could see the light of day as soon as late 2026.If Apple can develop a durable folding iPhone, it could take that market mainstream.Although it has not publicly commented on future foldable products, Apple has quietly explored the possibilities of such products for years. Thus far, it has been content to let others try first, though none of the early entrants in the foldable market have had much success so far.The problems with foldables so far are that they are very expensive, and also very prone to damage, especially around the hinge mechanism. The Tampa Bay Times is reporting on a stalled effort to repair damages caused during Hurricane Milton to Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. The 35-year-old stadium was initially set for a much-needed influx of $24 million worth of funding. Instead, with a last-minute reversal and given the separate uncertainty now surrounding the fate of its $1.3 billionnew home, the future of the Rays franchise in the city has been cast in doubt.Some 18 of the 24 fiberglass roof panels were lost during the storm after the 370,000 square feet of PTFEroof system failed in the face of 125+ mph winds. The cost of repairs had been previously reported at $55.7 million. This fall's hurricanes also led to a decline in construction spending for October.

The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) has released its latest analysis of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Producer Price Index data for the month of November. The Index remained unchanged as inputs to nonresidential construction gained 0.1%.Overall construction input prices are now 0.5% higher than they were a year ago, whereas nonresidential construction input prices are 0.3% higher. Spirit is an all new resource to keep track of in Path of Exile 2. Unlike Health and Mana, Spirit is not consumed and recovered at will, but is instead held in a pool, to be reserved and used by buffs, auras, and summons.Beginning with none, you will gain Spirit as you progress through the game. Later on, an ever increasing pool of Spirit will be required for new abilities or more minions, but sources will be far and few to come by. Correspondingly, Spirit costs for some abilities can be decreased through certain skill nodes. This guide has every currently known method to increase Spirit in Path of Exile 2.GearInitially, the only way to have a Spirit reserve is through an item. Sceptres are the only known weapon to offer Spirit, supplying a generous base of 100. This can increase with any modifiers that may be present, usually expressed as X(#-#)% Increased Spirit. Sadly, Sceptres cannot be dual-wielded.Body Armour, Focuses, Shields, and Amulets can all roll with a straight bonus to Spirit, expressed as +X(#-#) To Spirit.This method can be severely limiting on progression, as you are now tied to a set of gear that may not be up to the task for the content you are playing.BossesA handful of bosses can specifically award you with Spirit, +30 each to be exact. On the map, their legend is notably distinct from regular bosses, and is denoted by a skull overlaid with a plus in the lower-left corner. This indicates that they are a Boss Encounter With Upgrade. The names and locations of known bosses specifically with Spirit upgrades are:King in the MistAct 1FreythornIgnaduk, the Bog WitchAct 3The Azak BogAfter you have felled a boss, be sure to collect and consume the Gem-prefix Skull drop, in order to actually apply each of these Spirit boosts permanently.You may then double up on these Spirit rewards on a Cruel difficulty run, for a total of 120+ Spirit.If the pattern is maintained, there ought to be an optional boss somewhere in Act 5 that grants a Spirit buff reward, but that remains to be seen until Path of Exile 2 exits Early Access.Skill NodesExclusive to the Witch class and her Infernalist Ascendancy, is the skill Beidats Will. This skill reserves 25% of Life, in exchange for +1 to Maximum Spirit per 25 Maximum Life. While potentially a troublesome trade-off, there are far more ways to extend and retain Life/Health than there are to increase your Spirit reserve.An indirect way to increase the Spirit pool is to actually lower the Spirit reservation of the abilities themselves. Two such passive nodes are Lord of Horrors which sees Minions have 12% reduced Reservation, and Fate Finding which gives a 15% reduced Reservation of Herald Skills.Eventually there may well be more nodes hidden somewhere in the skill constellation which will either increase Spirit or reduce its reservation for a given ability, perhaps once Path of Exile 2 finally leaves Early Access.That is every possible way to raise Spirit at this time in Path of Exile 2.
