    www.gamespot.com
Sid Meier's Civilization 7 tasks you with befriending leaders, spreading your tenets, or acquiring age-old relics. Still, you could opt for a straightforward solution to finish your campaign: Smacking everyone with a big stick. Here's our guide to help you with the Military Legacy and Military Victory in Civilization 7.How to get a Military Victory in Civilization 7 - Military Legacy guideThe Civilization 7 Military Legacy path, also known as Domination, tends to be more straightforward compared to others like the Cultural, Economic, and Science tenets. That's because your main goal is to expand and exterminate your foes until you rule the known world. This requires you to have high production, technological advancements, and lots of units, all to aid you as you send out your Settlers or conquer distant realms. Military Legacy in the Antiquity Age: Pax ImperatoriaThe Civilization 7 Military Legacy feature during the Antiquity Age emphasizes the need to do an early-game rush. For starters, you're asked to train key units. Eventually, you need to amass Pax Imperatoria points from the settlements that you own. Settlements that you founded (i.e. using your own Settlers) grant +1 point, whereas those that you capture in war grant +2 points.Step 1: Study the Discipline civic.Step 2: Train four military units of any type.Assemble a full army by "packing" them into one Army Commander.Step 3: Train any siege unit.Capture one enemy settlement.Step 4: Obtain 6x Pax Imperatoria points in total.Step 5: Obtain 9x Pax Imperatoria points in total.Step 6: Obtain 12x Pax Imperatoria points in total. Military Legacy in the Exploration Age: Non Sufficit Orbis"Non sufficit orbis" is Latin for "the world is not enough." It implies that the realms that you govern are but a small part of the world and you need to expand your empire. The goal here is to control settlements in distant lands--i.e. those in other continents. You can check your surroundings by clicking on the Lens Toggles button on the minimap. Select the Continents lens to see which tiles are part of your homeland and which ones are considered distant lands:Settlements that you found grant +1 point, and settlements that you conquer grant +2 points.Even if you don't conquer a settlement, you can still convert it to your religion. Doing so grants +2 points. Also, the Civilization 7 Military Legacy during this era goes hand in hand with the Economic Legacy and Cultural Legacy paths, which require you to send out Treasure Fleets and acquire holy relics, respectively.Step 1: Research the Cartography and Astronomy techs.Step 2: Create a settlement in distant lands.Step 3: Earn 4x Non Sufficit Orbis (NSO) points in total.Step 4: Earn 8x NSO points in total.Step 5: Earn 12x NSO points in total. Military Legacy in the Modern Age: IdeologyIf you want to get a Military Victory in Civilization 7, you need to be prepared because the Modern Age requirements are a bit of a doozy. That's because the concept itself is highly dependent on (a) the number of remaining civs/players, (b) how much they've expanded, and (c) the Ideology that they selected. You can learn more about these details in our Ideologies guide. What's important to remember is that civs with no ideology grant +2 points for each settlement that you capture. Meanwhile, civs with an opposing ideology grant +3 points for each settlement.Step 1: Study the Political Theory civic.Step 2: Study any Ideology civic--i.e. Democracy, Fascism, or Communism.Research the Combustion tech.Step 3: Research the Flight rech.Capture an ideological enemy's settlement (or those from a civ without any ideological belief).Step 4: Score 10x points in total.Step 5: Score 15x points in total.Step 6: Score 20x points in total. There's still one more step: You have to complete the Operation Ivy project in one of your cities. Once you're done, you'll achieve your long-awaited Military Victory. That does it for our Civilization 7 Military Victory and Military Legacy guide. If you're keen on learning about the other victory conditions, you can check our guides regarding the Cultural, Economic, and Science facets.Explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate your way to victory with the help of our Sid Meier's Civilization 7 guides hub.
