World of Warcraft has required a $15 monthly subscription to play since its launch back in 2004, but in all those years, the price in the US has never gone up. According to ex-Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick, it was due to not wanting to "agitate" the game's playerbase.In an interview with the Grit podcast, Kotick reflected on his long history as the CEO of Activision and later Activision Blizzard. Along the way he dove into details about developer Blizzard and WoW's success. He said the game over its lifetime has seen over 150 million subscribers, making it the "best subscription business of all time." Soon after stepping foot into Shatterscarp in Avowed, you can take on a variety of side quests. One of the earlier side quests you might encounter is called "That Which Remains." This quest begins by exploring the Dreamthrall-infested lands outside of Eagle's Reach. From the beginning, That Which Remains is plagued with mystery, and by the end of it, you'll have to make a choice regarding a group of people's lives.To see how to complete That Which Remains from start to finish in Avowed, check out the quest guide below. Locating the Diary and opening the WellThat Which Remains begins after you search an Aedyran Cleric's body and find the "Flame-Eaten Diary." If you read the diary, you'll see that some nearby villagers established a laboratory in the area, but something went terribly wrong. To explore the lab further, you need to obtain a couple of sets of keys. The first of which is the Research House key, which you can find in the adjacent house from where the dead cleric is. Once you have the Research House Key, follow your map to a blue quest zone where you have to explore the laboratory.Your objective in the lab is to find the Well Key, which is sitting on a table next to a note in the back room. With the Well Key in hand, follow your map until you reach a water well that you interact with. Open the well to reveal the entrance to the Scaedclef Grotto. Head down inside to proceed with the quest. Investigate the Grotto Inside the Scaedclef Grotto, your only quest objective is to explore the area. You're given no quest markers or anything of the sort, so it can be confusing to know what to do once you get inside. In the opening room with all the purple crystals on the ground, defeat every spider enemy and then head to the back of the area near the cobwebs. On the left side of the back area, you'll see a wall with no cobwebs on it. If you get close enough, you'll see the wall is breakable by throwing any sort of explosive at it. The prompt for the explosive icon to appear on the wall requires you to be extremely close to it, so it's easy to miss. Throw a grenade at the wall and head on further into the grotto. As a note, you can also head up the side path on the left of the crystal room, but that doesn't lead anywhere. You can only loot a small chest there. Speak with the survivorsIn the next room, you'll see a cage with several Dreamscourge-affected people sitting in it. You can't speak to these people, but you can overhear whispers of others coming from the other side of a wall. There's a door that leads into the room where these survivors are, but you're unable to open it. Fortunately, all you have to do is climb up the rocks to the right of the cage and head into the room with the survivors.Fortunately, the survivors are friendly, and after speaking with them, you learn that they are the residents of the laboratory you explored earlier. However, some of their colleagues began to show signs of the Dreamscourge and set fire to the lab. The lab workers not affected by the plague rushed down into the Scaedclef Grotto, but then the people currently locked in the cage also succumbed to the Dreamscourge. Now, the survivors aren't sure if they want to kill them or let them live, but they desperately need to make a decision. Should you kill the Dreamthralls or ask for provisions?The survivors offer you two choices in their current circumstances. They themselves can't kill the Dreamthralls, as they were their friends and lovers, but they also need provisions from the Aedyrans stationed at Eagle's Reach. One survivor simply asks you to kill the Dreamthralls for them, while another wants the Dreamthralls to live and asks you to try and get them some provisions.So, it's up to you to decide what to do. Kill the DreamthrallsIf you decide to side with Fewen, you have to kill every one of the Dreamthralls. This doesn't take too long, as they're trapped in the cage and don't have too much health. With the Dreamthralls dead, return to the survivors. You now have three dialogue options with them, which are:Go to Eagle's Reach. With the Dreamthralls dead, Wymgar won't have an excuse not to take you in.I'll talk to Wymgar about getting you better provisions.[Attack] Fine. I'll put you out of your misery.If you choose the first option, you'll receive 900 gold and the That Which Remains quest will be complete. However, you can choose the second option and ask for provisions like Tobin asked you to do originally. There's no real point to attack the survivors, but you can opt to do so and the quest will end on the spot. Asking for provisionsIf you choose to ask for provisions, either before or after killing the Dreamthralls, you have to return to Eagle's Reach and speak with Captain Wymgar. He feels guilty about not telling you about the laboratory's situation and agrees to have provisions sent down to the survivors at once. The captain also says he'll handle the Dreamthralls if you didn't already kill them. Talking to Captain Wymgar completes the That Which Remains quest and rewards you with 900 gold, as well.Obsidian is no stranger to crafting compelling RPGs. Thats the little island full of Exceptional-quality-tier enemies west of Maxims Claim. To reach the house, face the camps adra pillar, turn left, and climb the ledge to the row of tents. Theres a root jutting out from the area behind the camp stove.Take a running jump from the root to the opening in the building across the gap, and drop down to the chest.Earthly Aegis location solutionThis map has a couple of solution hints. The first is the squat building it singles out, and the second is the texts mention of stealing from a delemgen.Delemgen Avoweds tree people enemies live in the Wildwood area northwest of Fior mes Ivrno. Youll visit this area during Avoweds main questline, but if you want to grab the treasure early, travel toward the Wildwood label on the map. Youll eventually reach the Rock Arch fast travel beacon and can either deal with the bears and delemgen there or rush past them up the hill.At the top of the hill is the house the map pointed out, but the door is sealed. A root extends around the back of the building. In Marvel Comics, green is the color of rage and the color of gamma-mutated superheroes and villains. The Hulk is green, the Leader is green, She-Hulk is green, the Abomination is green. So the release of (or the trailers for) Captain America: Brave New World may have prompted an obvious question in your mind.Why is Red Hulk red? There was a time when that was a mystery even in Marvel Comics.When writer Jeph Loeb and artist Ed McGuinness introduced Red Hulk in 2008s Hulk #1, the whole point of him was that nobody knew who he was or how he came to be. It wasnt until two years later, in Hulk #22, that he was revealed to be a hulked-out Thaddeus Thunderbolt Ross, longtime enemy of the Hulk.The story here is long and complicated, and even involves faking a death with a Life Model Decoy, so suffice to say: A cabal of supergenius supervillains (including the Leader) decided it would fit their interests to turn Ross into a Hulk and have him under their thumb at the same time. In exchange for his cooperation with their plans, they offered to resurrect his daughter, Betty Ross (who was, as you might have guessed, dead at the time).The next time the Hulk went on an unstoppable rampage, those villains hijacked an orbital satellite and drained all the gamma out of him, so they could wombocombo it with some cosmic energy (thats, like, a specific kind of energy in Marvel Comics), slam it into Thaddeus Ross, and presto: Red Hulk.So Ross hulked-out form apparently can be red because he got his Hulk powers in a different way than Bruce Banner.There are other differences between them, too. For example: Red Hulk isnt just red, hes red hot. He emits enough gamma radiation that it can be felt as heat. (How does this keep him from irradiating everyone around him? Eh, its comics.) Thats why you can see Ross clothing and other things he touches charring to embers in Captain America: Brave New World its a reference to Red Hulks fiery nature.You may be thinking: Thats it? Hes just red because of a made-up science explanation? I can understand that its not very satisfying. But on the other hand, have you ever asked yourself why the Hulk is green in the first place? Its not a color we usually associate with anger. In fact, its not even the color Stan Lee originally wanted him to be.Famously, Lee told Incredible Hulk #1 colorist Stan Goldberg to make Hulk grey. And the Hulk would have stayed that way, if not for how generally difficult it is for CMYK printing to produce a grey color that actually looks grey, and looks like the same grey from page to page. It was an even harder job for Marvels mid-century printing technology, putting ink down in visible dotted patterns on off-white newsprint. Lee saw the first issue, hated it, told Goldberg to just do it green next time, and the rest is history.So why is the Red Hulk red? Same reason the Hulk is green: Vibes.

According to researchers, anyone who knows where to look can spray digital graffiti on the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) website. Two web development experts said the site doesnt seem to be hosted on government servers and that the database it pulls from can be modified by those who locate it. At the time of writing, a message reading these experts left their database open - roro is still visible on the DOGE site.DOGE chief and President Trump consigliere Elon Musk said on Tuesday that his team would be as transparent as possible, with updates on its actions shared to an X account and website. As 404 Media notes, the DOGE website was pretty much blank at the time. Since then, it's been hurriedly assembled to show a feed of posts from the entitys X account, along with details about the federal workforce.The researchers told 404 that the site appeared to be built on Cloudflare Pages instead of government servers. After looking at the sites architecture and API endpoints, one was able to locate the database containing stats on government employees. They made changes to database entries that were reflected on the DOGE website.It's not the first time that a federal website operating under the Trump administration has appeared to have been slapped together. Just this week, the waste.gov was locked after it was reported that the site displayed a dummy WordPress page, complete with placeholder text.DOGE does acknowledge that there are possible issues with its web presence. This is DOGE's effort to create a comprehensive, government-wide org chart, a footnote on the DOGE website reads. This is an enormous effort, and there are likely some errors or omissions. We will continue to strive for maximum accuracy over time.However, it doesnt exactly inspire confidence that a team tasked with making sweeping cuts to government spending and allegedly barging its way into federal systems that contain sensitive data on federal employees and citizens cant secure its own website.
