Riding your Seikret is the easiest way to pursue it, but your trusty mount can aid you in several other ways while hunting. This is helpful if you need to use your Whetstone or heal, but I also used my Seikret to take a breather during certain fights and evaluate the attack pattern of the monster.Additionally, I found the dismount attacks you use by jumping off the Seikret to be incredibly helpful in fights (like against Doshaguma or Rathalos). As a sword and shield user, dismount attacks were an easy way to either get some damage in and get up close to a monster, or jump high enough to mount it and attack it that way.Seikrets can store additional equipment Your Seikret can store an extra set of equipment so you can change weapons during a fight. This is great for tougher hunts, like Rey Dau, because it means you can come prepared with a couple of weapons suited to exploit the weaknesses of a particular monster and that you can really make the most of the best weapon combos.You can customize your SeikretSimilar to how you can customize the appearance of your hunter and Palico, you can also edit the look of your Seikret. You can edit your Seikret after you fully unlock Junafa, Windsong Village and talk to Nona.
