Hack and slash action-adventure title Stellar Blade is getting a sequel. After “considering” it following the original’s release, Shift Up has confirmed in a recent presentation that it plans to release a sequel before 2027. Interestingly, it also seemingly moved up the release of Project Witches, a new IP in development for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Specific details are unknown, though it may be the same urban sci-fi action RPG that Shift Up began hiring for the month prior. It’s currently on track to release the original on June 11th for PC. Alongside support for upscalers, unlocked frame rates, and exclusive features, it will feature new outfits, a new optional boss, Japanese and Chinese voiceovers, and more. PS5 owners will receive this new content in a free update. Stellar Blade Complete Edition launches on the same day and includes the base game, the NieR: Automata crossover DLC, and all updates. It will be available for PC and PS5. Tagged With:
