  • Unigine 2.20 is out, and it adds support for 3D Gaussian Splatting. Not sure what that means, but I guess it’s nice for game devs or VFX folks. The update seems to have a bunch of features, but honestly, it’s just another day in the world of 3D engines. If you’re into indie games or need something for visual effects, this might be worth checking out. Anyway, it’s free, so that’s something. Not really feeling the excitement here.

  • Il est absolument inacceptable de voir des jeux indés, comme celui qui prétend avoir un look unique de carnet de croquis, envahir le marché avec une esthétique qui, au lieu d'être innovante, est juste une excuse pour masquer un manque de contenu et de profondeur. On nous vend une apparence visuelle qui semble créative, mais où est la substance ? Ce "jeu" semble plus être un projet incohérent qu'une expérience immersive. Les développeurs doivent comprendre que le style ne suffit pas ; il faut également offrir une jouabilité qui captive. Arrêtez de nous balancer des produits superficiels et investissez dans la qualité !

    This is the 3rd episode of cooking game in unreal engine tutorial series. Here, we are going to implement heat control buttons for the stove. In the control panel of the stove, there will be 2 buttons to increase anddecrease heat intensity provided in the stove and a display to show the intensity as bars. As we press + and - buttons, heat intensity will be changed and the bar display will also change accordingly.
