In 2022, Live Nation, which owns ticketing platform Ticketmaster, saw 14 million people trying to buy the tour's presale tickets, way more than the 1.5 million "verified" fans expected to be in the online queue."We had 14 million people hit the site, including bots another story which are not supposed to be there," Live Nation's chairman Greg Maffei told CNBC in November 2022 while apologizing to fans unable to secure tickets.Ticketmaster then canceled its general public ticket sale, saying it had run out of tickets after the presale event, drawing ire from Swift's fan base. Tom Holland announced the news via video at CinemaCon 2025, where titles and trailers had been revealed for several previous Spider-Man films. The trend of layoffs in the video game industry continues, as game developer Eidos Montreal--which is co-developing the new Fable--has announced that it's cutting 75 jobs.In a memo posted on social media, the studio said it's cutting the jobs because "one of our mandates is coming to an end." Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Shadows launched on March 20, and it got off to a hot start in the US. The game was the best-selling title overall in the US during its launch week, according to analyst Mat Piscatella of Circana. This counts sales through March 22, so Shadows achieved this after only three days.Piscatella added that, after three days of sales, Shadows is already one of the top five best-selling games of 2025 in the US based on dollars. In terms of a comparison, Piscatella pointed out that only Capcom's Monster Hunter: Wilds had a better first week in terms of dollar sales in 2025 so far.Wilds is the No. 1 best-selling game of 2025 so far in the US.
