Its characters are said to be similar to Apex Legends' own Pathfinder, Wraith, and Lifeline, as well as others.The company's higher-ups reportedly wants to take advantage of Apex Legends' dwindling player base. As a result, they are said to think that there's now an opportunity to launch another battle royale game. The Gaze of Gaea is a weapon that was added to Vampire Survivors with patch 1.13. It looks like a green stag’s head, is capable of defanging enemies (making them deal no damage to the player), and you can evolve it into the Embrace of Gaea, which is an even more powerful defensive tool. However, the Gaze of Gaea can be a bit tricky to get and evolve. In this Vampire Survivors guide, we’ll walk you through how to unlock the Gaze of Gaea for any future runs and how to evolve it into the Embrace of Gaea. How to unlock the Gaze of Gaea in Vampire Survivors Before you’re able to unlock the Gaze of Gaea in Vampire Survivors, you first need to unlock The Coop, a horizontal map similar to the library that’s filled to the brim with chickens. To do this, you’ll need to pick up and eat 500 Floor Chickens over the course of your Vampire Survivors career. If you’ve been playing for a long time, you’ve almost certainly done this, and will just need to load into a map, find a chicken, eat it, and then quit. You should then get a prompt saying you’ve unlocked The Coop in the post-match screen. If you’re new to Vampire Survivors, however, this is probably going to take you a while to unlock. Just play the game normally and you’ll eventually get 500 Floor Chickens and unlock the level. Once you’ve unlocked The Coop, you need to load into the map and not kill any chickens for about a minute. This is obviously easier said than done, as you don’t have any control of your weaponry in Vampire Survivors. The simplest way to fix this problem is to select a character that doesn’t have any lethal weapons and then skip any level ups you can until the level ends. There are multiple characters across the DLCs that you could use for this, but we recommend Gallo, a relatively early playable character in Vampire Survivors that starts with the Clock Lancet. Once you load into the map, just avoid any roaming chickens until the screen starts to zoom in on you and you’re killed by a green stag that resembles the Gaze of Gaea. The timer on the map doesn’t start until you kill a chicken, so you won’t be able to track it by looking at your screen. Once you’re killed and the run ends, you’ll unlock the Gae of Gaea for any future runs. How to evolve the Gaze of Gaea in Vampire Survivors You can evolve the Gaze of Gaea by acquiring it on your run, leveling it up to level 8, and pairing it with the Parm Aegis passive item — which increases the invulnerability timer after you take a hit. The simplest way to evolve the Gaze of Gaea for the first time is to start back on The Coop. Pick a character that starts with a good, reliable area clearing weapon like the Whip, and kill some chickens. As you progress through the map’s timer and waves of enemies, the fences to the right will eventually disappear, and you’ll find a Parm Aegis on the ground that you can pick up. Once you have the Gaze of Gaea and the Parm Aegis, upgrade the Gaze of Gaea to level 8, wait for the timer to pass 10 minutes, and kill an elite enemy to grab a chest. You’ll then pull the Embrace of Gaea from the chest and unlock Gazebo, a chicken hero that starts with the Gaze of Gaea. The Embrace of Gaea functions similarly to the Gaze of Gaea, but it attacks in a radial circle and is able to deal retaliatory damage to enemies.

Zoom shared an update acknowledging the problems and posted on X that "a restore is underway." OpenAI has named labor leader Dolores Huerta and three others to a temporary advisory board that will help guide the artificial intelligence company’s philanthropy as it attempts to shift itself into a for-profit business. Huerta, who turned 95 last week, formed the first farmworkers union with Cesar Chavez in the early 1960s and will now have a say on the direction of philanthropic initiatives that OpenAI says will consider “both the promise and risks of AI.” The group will have just 90 days to make their suggestions. “She recognizes the significance of AI in today’s world and anybody who’s been paying attention for the last 50 years knows she will be a force in this conversation,” said Daniel Zingale, the convener of OpenAI’s new nonprofit commission and a former adviser to three California governors. Huerta’s advice won’t be binding but the presence of a social activist icon could be influential as OpenAI CEO Sam Altman attempts a costly restructuring of the San Francisco company’s corporate governance, which requires the approval of California’s attorney general and others. Another coalition of labor leaders and nonprofits recently petitioned state Attorney General Rob Bonta, a Democrat, to investigate OpenAI, halt the proposed conversion and “protect billions of dollars that are under threat as profit-driven hunger for power yields conflicts of interest.” OpenAI, the maker of ChatGPT, started out in 2015 as a nonprofit research laboratory dedicated to safely building better-than-human AI that benefits humanity. It later formed a for-profit arm and shifted most of its staff there, but is still controlled by a nonprofit board of directors. It is now trying to convert itself more fully into a for-profit corporation but faces a number of hurdles, including getting the approval of California and Delaware attorneys general, potentially buying out the nonprofit’s pricy assets and fighting a lawsuit from co-founder and early investor Elon Musk. A lattice of wooden joinery, inspired by the rafters of a boat, defines the Bahrain Pavilion designed by Lina Ghotmeh for Expo 2025 Osaka. Called Connecting Seas, the 17-meter-tall structure references Bahrain’s coastal heritage, echoing the forms of traditional dhow boats once used for transporting heavy cargo. The result is a pavilion that blends context, craft, and clarity in a minimal, purposeful form. “The Bahrain Pavilion is conceived as an anatomy of a dhow, a contemporary evocation of the traditional Bahraini dhow – a vessel deeply embedded in the kingdom’s maritime heritage,” said Ghotmeh. “Rather than directly replicating the vessel, the architecture captures its essence – its rhythm, timber construction, and sense of voyage,” she added. Designer: Lina Ghotmeh Lina Ghotmeh, founder of the Paris-based studio Lina Ghotmeh Architecture, designed the pavilion with a distinctively curved roof, dipping gracefully at its center and rising towards both ends. Covering 995 square meters, the structure is assembled from 3,000 pieces of Japanese cedar. The wooden framework extends in a rhythmic pattern along the side elevations, suggesting the dynamic movement of rafters across the water. Balancing the warmth of the timber, a translucent membrane wraps the front façade, referencing the sails of traditional dhow boats and adding a light, airy contrast to the overall form. Behind its geometric facade, the pavilion reveals an atrium that spans all four floors, topped by an open roof. This central space functions as the main exhibition area, separated from surrounding zones by large membrane walls. These translucent partitions were selected to introduce an ethereal quality to the pavilion’s interior. “These materials give the structure a soft, sail-like appearance, evoking the fabric of a traditional dhow and gently filtering daylight into the space,” Ghotmeh said. “The choice of membrane not only enhances the pavilion’s lightness and permeability but also supports passive climate control.” Adjacent to the atrium, a café and a gift shop sit on opposite sides, with openings designed to bring in natural light and ventilation. A broad central staircase connects all levels. The first and second floors feature exhibition spaces that circulate the atrium, focusing on trade, crafts, manufacturing, pearling, and ecology in Bahrain. The third floor is dedicated to business, offering seating and meeting rooms. Essential services, including an elevator and a secondary staircase, are located at the rear of the pavilion. “The Bahrain Pavilion integrates sustainability holistically through its design, materials, and construction methods,” Ghotmeh said. “These strategies aim at making the Bahrain Pavilion a model of circular, low-impact architecture.” Multiple sustainable strategies were incorporated into the building, such as the utilization of reusable materials, minimal foundations, and passive cooling techniques.
