RT The Vigilant Fox 🦊EYE-WATERING MOMENT: Trump’s cabinet erupts in applause for Elon Musk—thanking him for the personal sacrifices he’s made to help save the country. It wasn’t scripted. It wasn’t expected. But it was real—and it said everything that needed to be said. @elonmusk sat quietly at the table. For months, he’s taken hit after hit: media smears, political attacks, even firebombings at Tesla—all for standing up for the American people and helping the Trump administration deliver on its promises. And in this moment, he finally heard what millions have been wanting to say.President Trump looked him in the eye.“You have been treated unfairly,” he said.“But the vast majority of people in this country really respect and appreciate you.”Heads around the room nodded.“You’ve really been a tremendous help,” Trump added.“You opened up a lot of eyes as to what could be done.”Then came the applause. The room ignited. It wasn’t for a billionaire. It was for an American fighter—someone who’s risked everything not to stay safe, but stand up for his country.Musk sat there humbled by it all. He then said a few words: “It’s also an honor to work with your incredible cabinet,” he said.“Thank you everyone. It’s great to work with you.”

Borderlands 4 Gameplay Showcases New Traversal Methods, Story Mission, and More
News Borderlands 4 Gameplay Showcases New Traversal Methods, Story Mission, and More New planet Kairos offers four large zones to seamlessly explore with side activities like Silos, dungeons, and more to complete. Posted By Ravi Sinha | On 01st, May. 2025 In a new State of Play, Gearbox Software showcased extensive new gameplay of Borderlands 4. Along with additional story details about Kairos and how the populace rises against its ruler, The Timekeeper, the developer showcased the world and a story mission. The latter involves venturing to Terminus Ranch at the behest of Amara from Borderlands 3. She’s searching for Lilith, but the crew also wants to stop dangerous experiments at the black site. Kairos offers four different zones which players can seamlessly load into. Alongside a Digirunner for getting around (similar to Destiny’s Sparrow), you can glide, double-jump and grapple onto fixed points. There’s also dynamic weather, and events automatically added to your tracking without activating them. They include Silos to hijack for the Resistance, which can serve as vast travel points or offer dungeons with Vault Fragments to collect. On co-op, loot is instanced for each player, and you can also set a separate campaign difficulty. If you split up from friends, it’s possible to quickly fast travel to them. Of course, we also see several other returning characters like Zane, Moxxi, and Claptrap. Borderlands 4 will launch for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC on September 12th, with a hands-on gameplay event coming in June. Stay tuned for more details. ‘Fortnite’ Will Return to U.S. iOS App Store After Court Finds Apple Willfully Violated Court Order in Epic Games Suit
Epic Games‘ juggernaut title “Fortnite” is heading back to the iOS App Store in the United States. According to court documents obtained and reviewed by Variety, a District Court in California found that Apple willfully violated the court order in the Epic Games v. Apple suit. “For the reasons set forth herein, the Court finds Apple in willful violation of this Court’s 2021 Injunction which issued to restrain and prohibit Apple’s anticompetitive conduct and anticompetitive pricing. Apple’s continued attempts to interfere with competition will not be tolerated,” Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers said in the documents. Related Stories Epic’s lawsuit against Apple argued that the tech company acts as a monopoly, taking a 30% cut on all in-app purchases while banning outside payment methods. Popular on Variety “This is an injunction, not a negotiation. There are no do-overs once a party willfully disregards a court order,” the court documents continue. “Time is of the essence. The Court will not tolerate further delays. As previously ordered, Apple will not impede competition. The Court enjoins Apple from implementing its new anticompetitive acts to avoid compliance with the Injunction. Effective immediately Apple will no longer impede developers’ ability to communicate with users nor will they levy or impose a new commission on off-app purchases.” Rogers’ filing also said that Apple’s VP of Finance, Alex Roman, “outright lied” to the court under oath: “In stark contrast to Apple’s initial in-court testimony, contemporaneous business documents reveal that Apple knew exactly what it was doing and at every turn chose the most anticompetitive option.” An Apple spokesperson shared the following statement with Variety on Wednesday evening: “We strongly disagree with the decision. We will comply with the court’s order and we will appeal.” In August 2020, Apple officially booted “Fortnite” and other Epic Games titles off the App Store, suspending the games company’s developer account after Epic filed an antitrust lawsuit against the tech giant. Epic Games founder and CEO Tim Sweeney responded to the court’s findings in a series of posts on X. “NO FEES on web transactions. Game over for the Apple Tax. Apple’s 15-30% junk fees are now just as dead here in the United States of America as they are in Europe under the Digital Markets Act. Unlawful here, unlawful there,” he wrote. In another post, Sweeney wrote, “We will return ‘Fortnite’ to the US iOS App Store next week,” but added that there’s still work to be done on an international scale. “Epic puts forth a peace proposal: If Apple extends the court’s friction-free, Apple-tax-free framework worldwide, we’ll return ‘Fortnite’ to the App Store worldwide and drop current and future litigation on the topic.” In a call with the press on Wednesday evening, Sweeney elaborated on the court’s decision, adding, “It’s a huge victory for developers. This means all developers can offer both Apple’s payment service side by side with their own payment service. Apple cannot charge fees on the developers’ own payment services, and developers are free to pass along savings to customers by through differentiated pricing.” “What this does is it forces Apple to compete with other payment services, rather than blocking them,” Sweeney continued. “This is what we wanted all along. We’ve always acknowledged Apple’s right to operate their own store; their right to operate their own payment service. We’ve just always wanted a level playing field in which developers can compete with Apple to offer their own products, and then consumers are free to choose the best, and let the best product win.” Sweeney also addressed “Fortnite’s” cheeky in-game “Tart Tycoon” outfit, introduced in 2020 and depicting a menacing businessman with an apple-shaped head. “The Tart Tycoon outfit in Fortnite was a symbol of Apple blocking ‘Fortnite.’ We offered it to players for free in the #FreeFortnite cup. But little did the world know, we had, at that time, designed two different ‘Fortnite’ outfits. There is another outfit we designed in the event that Epic and Apple reached reconciliation and had an agreement. That is a different outfit on the theme that I think iOS players would love. If we are able to reach resolution with Apple, then it might be possible for our players to have the ability to earn the Pie Patron outfit.”

Heavy Play is an elegant alternative to card sleeving’s established dogma
Drop into just about any card shop here in the United States and you’ll find the same set of resources for protecting your cards lined up behind the counter. Brands like Dragon Shield, Upper Deck, and Gamegenic are the most common in my experience, but by and large they offer very similar solutions — especially when it comes to sleeving cards. The gang at Heavy Play does things a little differently, providing excellent quality with a more refined fit and finish.I bumped into the Heavy Play team at this year’s MagicCon Chicago, and the first thing that jumped out at me were their playmats. Most fans of tabletop games will be familiar with rollable neoprene mats. These will often be printed with illustrations from the cards for games like Magic: The Gathering or Star Wars: Unlimited, but over time they tend to get a little ratty. Heavy Gear’s playmats are solid, three-piece affairs that fold up for travel. They fit well inside the laptop compartment of your backpack, and after using one regularly for a few months I’m happy to say it pretty much looks like new. It’s an interesting adaptation, and if you can get past the subtle seams that divide the three pieces, it’s an excellent, rugged solution for playing on the go.Look a little deeper at their product line, however, and you’ll soon find lots of other interesting features. The Heavy Play card sleeves have rounded corners at the bottom. It’s a unique feature shared by both the colorful outer sleeves and the tightly fitting inner sleeves as well. When shuffling, I find that they’re much gentler on the hands than Dragonsleeves and other brands with more pointy corners. The asymmetry also helps me keep my cards all facing in the right direction when I shuffle. Loading and reloading cards into your deck can be a bit finicky mind you, as the rounded corners make them more prone to tearing in my experience. But in motion I actually prefer the feel of these sleeves to all the others I’ve tried in the past. Finally, many different products in the Heavy Play line — from deck boxes, to accessory boxes, to the aforementioned playmats above — are all magnetized. That means you can fold up your playmat, snap your deck box and your dice box directly to it, and then load the entire assembly directly into your bag. Their deckbox carriers take that to the next level, allowing you to carry multiple Heavy Gear boxes internally with a playmat — or a traditional neoprene mat rolled up inside their magnetized case — as a single unit.Bear in mind, however, that all of this does come at a bit of a premium price. You’re absolutely going to spend more on Heavy Play gear than on comparable kit from other brands. The sleeves are also a bit more delicate. For that reason, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend turning over your entire card storage system. But if your every-day assortment of sleeves, boxes, and mats is looking a bit ratty it might be time to look into some new kit made by Heavy Play to see if it works for you.Heavy Play gear is available online and at select retail stores. The equipment was reviewed using retail product provided by Heavy Play. Vox Media has affiliate partnerships, but not with Heavy Play. Menu Home News Hardware Gaming Mobile Finance Deals Reviews How To Wccftech AIMobile Samsung’s Earnings Call Recently Confirmed The Development Of An AI-Powered Galaxy Tab S11 And A Redesigned Galaxy Watch Featuring Advanced Health Tools Ezza Ijaz • Apr 30, 2025 at 09:34pm EDT Samsung has been heavily focused on AI initiatives this year, and the direction it is taking can be sensed with the artificial intelligence-centric upgrades it brings and the incorporation of technology in its flagship series. The South Korean tech giant also has an array of new products it has planned to roll out in 2025, which include Galaxy S25 Slim, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7, Galaxy Ring 2, Project Moohan, and its Galaxy Tab S10 series, among many other releases. Now, the company has confirmed that an AI-powered Galaxy Tab S11 is in development, and a redesigned Galaxy Watch is also underway. Samsung's earning call confirmed that Galaxy Tab S11 is underway and will be featuring advanced AI capabilities There is no doubt that Samsung is aggressively approaching AI and integrating it heavily into its products as one of its key strategies to stand out from the competition and have this as its biggest selling point. The company also seems to be determined to improve the user experience and make its processes more seamless. Samsung's recent earnings call gave us a sneak peek into the products the company has in the pipeline. During the earnings call 2025, the company's Mobile Experience division representative, Daniel Araujo, officially confirmed about two key products that we would be seeing this year. He shared that Samsung plans to release an AI-powered Galaxy Tab S11. This is the first time the company has dropped some official confirmation about the tablet. He also hinted about a redesigned Galaxy Watch that is underway and packed up with advanced health features. Samsung did not elaborate more on the announcements and did not give away any specific details other than the possibility of seeing the Tab S11 somewhere in the second half of 2025, but it did highlight the continued emphasis it is placing on integrating AI-centric features. The company also seems to be paying heed to bringing health innovations, which can be sensed in the Galaxy Watch, which is to come with enhanced capabilities. The Q1 2025 also announced the company's strong financial performance, which was credited to the Galaxy S25 series and its significantly reduced component costs, which led to overall improved earnings. Samsung also emphasized its goal to make AI more accessible by bringing AI features to the budget series under the Awesome Intelligence branding. There was also a hint that a new entry-level pair of wireless earbuds might also make its way this year. Samsung seems to be focused on AI-powered experience and has some great products lined up for this year.
