One of the returning cast members is a performer who has had two separate stints in Marvel films that collectively go back almost two decades. In 2021, the South Korean thriller Squid Game raced to the top of Netflix's charts to become the streamer's most-popular series of all time. While Netflix has now finally set a post-Christmas premiere for Squid Game Season 2, it also comes with word that the show will come to a conclusion following Season 3.Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk made the announcement about the series' end on the show's social media media pages.
