Prime Video's video game anthology series Secret Level debuted in December, featuring episodes inspired by all manner of video game franchises, but not Halo or Doom. It appears this wasn't for lack of trying, however. Supervising director Dave Wilson and creator Tim Miller recently discussed how they tried to work out a deal with Microsoft for Master Chief and the Doom Slayer, but it didn't work out.Wilson told Collider that because Secret Level was a brand-new idea, some of the development executives struggled to get on board because they had existing deals with other companies. He said what he heard from these executives was, "This is going to get in the way of everything we're doing."Miller, meanwhile, pushed back against the idea that his team didn't try to get a franchise like Halo. Marvels first family, the Fantastic Four, is coming to hero shooter Marvel Rivals as part of the games next season, according to a leak reportedly originating from an online advertisement. The Human Torch, the Thing, Mr. Fantastic, and the Invisible Woman (and maybe even HERBIE too)will reportedly be a big part of season 1 Marvel Rivals is currently in season 0 when it launches next week.Its not clear what roles each hero will have, though the Thing would logically fit in the Vanguard role, while Invisible Woman would certainly be a good fit as a Strategist. The Fantastic Four will no doubt have plenty of Team-Up synergies between themselves, and possibly with other heroes like Namor, for example.According to previous leaks, Marvel baddie Ultron will also show up in Marvel Rivals sometime during season 1.
