WWW.CORE77.COMInfinitely Reusable Tracing PaperA startup called HEYii claims they've developed infinitely reusable tracing paper. Called HEYtrace+, it's not actually paper at all, but a 0.5mm-thick silicone sheet with some type of proprietary coating; the company says it's nontoxic and allows you to erase the sheet using water (though they say 75% alcohol does a better job). You are somewhat limited to what you can draw with: The surface doesn't react well with pencils or oil-based markers. You can use alcohol-based markers like Copics, dry-erase markers, ballpoint pens, and water-based ink pens. The sheets come in A4 (8.3 x 11.7 inches) and A3 (11.7 x 16.5 inches). Oddly, both are priced the same: $35 each, with discounts available if you buy multiples ($99 gets you a 4-pack, for instance). The sheets come with a cleaning cloth and a piece of test material, if you want to try out a writing utensil to see if it will erase, without ruining the actual sheet.HEYtrace+ has been successfully Kickstarted, and there are nine days left in the campaign. They expect to start shipping them this April.0 Yorumlar 0 hisse senetleri 187 Views

WWW.YANKODESIGN.COMShelter concept creates fun, permanent fort for kidsMost children have probably built a fort or hut or shelter in their living bedroom or bedroom and engaged in playful shenanigans inside and around it. Most of the time though its just several pillows and bedsheets propped up by chairs and tables and we have to dismantle them when the adults say we need to clean up the room. What if there was a more permanent kind that kids can keep and stay in whenever they want?Designer: Valeria OrlovaShelter is a concept for a permanent hut to add to your kids room. Well, probably permanent until they outgrow it or destroy it, whichever comes first. It is made from a box-like material and is shaped like the silhouette of a mountain with a cave-like opening. The outside is decorated with various constellations so in the evening the child can have a starry view from outside the hut. On the side of the mountain are through the wall storage spaces with hinged systems so they can just throw in toys inside (or hide them quickly in case they need to). Inside the cave, the back wall is covered with paint slate so the kids can draw on it with chalk, creating their own artwork or codes and ciphers. There are also some stones and other materials outside to give the feel of a mountain (or a gingerbread house, but with stones instead of gingerbread).Part of the joy of creating forts is using whatever material you have lying around but also part of the heartbreak is getting them down. So a permanent structure like this may be the next best thing for the child and the child at heart. It can remove a bit of the imagination that goes into makeshift huts but theres still plenty to do inside and outside anyways. WWW.MACWORLD.COMOK Gos clever iPhone-starring music video will start your weekend on a high noteMacworldShooting music videos on iPhones is nothing new. Lady Gagas video for Stupid Love made a big deal about being shot entirely on iPhone 11 almost five years ago. Olivia Rodrigo and Selena Gomez have shot music videos on iPhones, and most recently, The Weeknds Dancing in the Flames was shot in cinematic slow-mo on iPhone 16 Pro.But few actually feature the iPhone itself as much as OK Gos new video for A Stone Only Rolls Downhill. You can watch it below. The video features 64 videos on 64 iPhones and makes use of clever framing, choreography, and edits to tie it all together. Not only were all the videos shot on iPhone, but the iPhones are the star of the video. Its difficult to judge exactly which iPhones are in use, but they appear to be iPhone 15 Pro models in bright colorful cases. In a short behind the scenes video you can see the phones have action buttons rather than mute switches, but no camera control button. And of course, they all feature a Dynamic Island.0 Yorumlar 0 hisse senetleri 168 Views

ARCHINECT.COMBreuer Building could receive rare interior landmark designation ahead of renovationNew York Citys Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) is looking into a rare designation for the interior spaces of the recently sold 945 Madison Avenue (aka the Breuer Building) on the Upper East Side. According to The Art Newspaper, a hearing on the issues is expected to take place within the next few months.Herzog & de Meuron had previously announced its intentions to "perfectly balance innovation and preservation" through their renovation. The interior layout and other aspects it would protect are equally important parts of the experience of the building as fans of Marcel Breuers and those who have visited in the past can attest to.0 Yorumlar 0 hisse senetleri 155 Views

GAMINGBOLT.COMConcords Failure Prompted Sony to Cancel Live-Service Projects RumorFirewalk Studios Concord is one of Sonys biggest failures of all time, estimated to have only sold 25,000 units after launch. It was pulled from sale after roughly two weeks before servers eventually shut down and the developer shuttered. Beyond the rumored budget and sunk costs, its impact is allegedly still felt, especially with Sonys other projects. In the latest Game Mess podcast, GiantBombs Jeff Grubb revealed that the cancelled live-service titles from Bluepoint Games and Bend Studio were reportedly due to Concord. This happened because of Concord. Like, this should be clear. Thats what Ive been told.Sony has been shell-shocked from Concord, and now theyre going around to every studio and reassessing every project. If its a live-service project, theres a lot of friction against it, preventing it from getting a chance to come out. He also reports that these were the main projects from both studios. Alongside Concord, they join the likes of cancelled multiplayer titles for The Last of Us and Marvels Spider-Man, the rumored Twisted Metal reboot and Sony Londons fantasy RPG.Sony noted that the cancellations wont result in studio closures, but its unknown if there will be layoffs. Plans are underway to discuss the future, so stay tuned for further updates.0 Yorumlar 0 hisse senetleri 149 Views
