Remember when Polyphony Digital head Kazunori Yamauchi said the studio was considering a PC port of Gran Turismo 7? With no updates for over two years, you would think its not happening. Unfortunately, a recent rumor lends further credence to the same.Icon-Era founder Bryank75 recently posted that a PC version of the acclaimed racing sim was in the works at some point, but its since been shelved. He noted that the information came from a trusted member and through the admin of the forum (which had previously leaked footage from Returnals PC version).As for why it was shelved, we may never know. Gran Turismo 7 is available for PS4 and PS5, and despite the lack of sales figures, it ranked first in the series in dollar sales for the US, according to Circana.
