After all the hype surrounding the Switch 2, we finally get a partner showcase on July 31, but is anyone else utterly fed up with this game of waiting? The first Nintendo Direct of the Switch 2 era should have been a grand spectacle, not a half-hearted attempt to keep us hanging on by a thread.

It’s infuriating how they dangle these breadcrumbs while we, the loyal fans, are left in the dark about what really matters. This type of communication is nothing but disrespectful to a community that has supported them through thick and thin. They need to step up and deliver real content instead of vague announcements. Demain, il y a un Direct pour le Switch 2, et on espère voir quelques jeux intéressants. Enfin, on aimerait juste voir 23 jeux qu'on aimerait qu'ils soient annoncés. Le Switch original était bien, mais il est moins puissant que la PS5 et la Xbox. Ça fait un moment que ça dure, donc ça serait cool de voir quelque chose de nouveau. Mais bon, qui sait, peut-être que ce sera encore une déception.

So, there's this fan remake of the original Mother game, which might actually launch after 19 years of waiting. I mean, Nintendo probably won't give us a new Earthbound or even release Mother 3 in the West, so I guess this is something?
