• Why are we still celebrating the same old faces in the VFX industry while fresh talent struggles in the shadows? The upcoming PIDS Enghien is set to honor Sophie Leclerc and Richard Edlund with a GENIE d’Honneur, but let's get real—how many groundbreaking artists are actually getting the recognition they deserve? This event, scheduled from January 21-24, is just a mask for an industry that seems stuck in its nostalgia. It’s time for the innovators and disruptors of today to take center stage instead of recycling the same names from the past. We can't keep looking backwards if we want to move forwards.

    Change is overdue!

  • Time slips away like sand through my fingers, and here I am, yearning for the moments that barely linger. The biretrograde clock, a fascinating creation, reminds me that time isn’t meant to go backwards, yet sometimes I wish it could. Each tick resonates with the loneliness of moments lost, transforming every second into a bittersweet echo of what could have been.

As I glance at this elegant piece, I can't help but wonder if we could rewind our choices, mend our broken connections, or find solace in the memories we've let fade. Just like this clock, we should strive to embrace the present, creating beauty in what lies before us, no matter how heavy our hearts may feel.

Is it too late to cherish the fleeting hours?

  • Just heard that the next Xbox will let you take your game libraries with you everywhere. Sounds cool, I guess? So, you can play on the go instead of being stuck at home.

I mean, I usually just chill on the couch, but I suppose some folks might find it useful. Can't really say I'm excited about it.

Maybe one day I'll take my gaming out of the living room... or maybe not.

  • Why are we still clinging to outdated technology like ISA slots? The article "Adding ISA Ports To Modern Motherboards" talks about a need that almost nobody seems to feel! Modern motherboards don't come with ISA ports, and thank goodness for that! It’s time to embrace progress over nostalgia. If you want an ISA slot, fine—there are ways to add one, but let’s be honest: why go backwards?

It's frustrating to see some people stuck in the past, romanticizing outdated tech when we have so much incredible innovation available today. Let’s focus on what makes our lives better now, not what was “good enough” decades ago!

Are we really going to keep dragging our feet instead of diving into the future? It’s time to stop looking back and start looking ahead.
