Nintendo has told journalists that this is due to the requirement of a significant day one patch."Article continues below“It’s really frustrating,” one editor is quoted as saying.“We will need to cover Switch 2 while also working across Summer Game Fest. How are we supposed to do that?”Indeed, Summer Game Fest, which has essentially replaced E3, will be held from June 6 to June 8, and will include heavy-hitters like Summer Game Fest Live, an Xbox Games Showcase, and the PC Gaming Show."Anyone who can get hold of a console early from a dodgy retailer will have a head start in terms of coverage," another editor is quoted as saying.
