Some of the changes you make are permanent, while others require you to revisit a few locations. How to reach the Blue Door at the end of the tunnelTo reach the Blue Door in Blue Prince, you need to clear a path from the tunnel well after you've removed all the crates:Obstacle #1 - You have to reach the Antechamber to get the Basement Key. Once you've opened the door here, it will remain permanently unlocked.Obstacle #2 - Bring a Power Hammer so you can destroy the breakable wall. This section of the wall will remain destroyed permanently.Obstacle #3 - The door can only be opened via a red fusebox. This requires powering up the Red Doors via the Boiler Room. You have to do this part--i.e. draft the Boiler Room again--whenever you want to pass through this section.Obstacle #4 - The fake wall will only part if you can light the candles. This passage remains open permanently.Obstacle #5 - You have to bring all three Microchips and place them in the pedestal. Each day/run causes the Microchips to return to Blackbridge Grotto, so don't forget to bring them here.Once the whole pathway is open, you'll come face to face with an ornate Blue Door with a holly symbol. Now comes the hard part: Finding a way to unseal it permanently. The Throne of the Blue PrinceTo open the Blue Door in Blue Prince, you must reclaim the Throne Room. This particular guide has every single detail and step that you need for this task. Here's a quick summary:You need to have the Crown of the Blueprints, Royal Scepter (blue), and Cursed Effigy all in a single day/run.You have to draft the Throne Room and then enter it with all three items in your inventory.Doing the above leads to a cutscene. You'll also receive an "ascended blueprint" which turns the area into the Throne of the Blue Prince. Oh, and this location doesn't just have a new design. It also has a unique perk related to the Blue Door in the tunnel: The Throne of the Blue Prince's perk unseals all Blue Doors permanently after you've drafted eight consecutive blue rooms. How to draft eight blue rooms consecutivelySo, with the above in mind, how exactly do we ensure that we can draft eight consecutive blue rooms? Well, here are a few tips:Ideally, you should've plopped down rooms with connectors beforehand--i.e. Hallway, Cloister, Chapel, and the like. Having rooms with different colors before you start focusing on this task is totally fine.You must draft the Throne of the Blue Prince--i.e. ascended Throne Room--in the manor. This causes a tally to appear in the upper section of your screen. From there, you want to place eight blue-colored rooms in various openings/pathways.There are two buffs that help increase the chances that blue rooms will appear as drafting options: Royal Scepter (blue) - Pick up the Royal Scepter and select the blue color.Banner of the King - Complete the Chess Puzzle and pick the King power. You can select the blue color.Draft a Chamber of Mirrors so you can see duplicates of rooms that you've already placed down.Use Ivory Dice and other reroll methods to get the options that you need.After placing down the Throne of the Blue Prince and drafting eight consecutive blue rooms, a notification telling you that the seal has been unlocked will appear on your screen. What's behind the Blue Door?Congratulations! You've just opened the Blue Door in Blue Prince. Of course, you still need to go back to the area. Don't forget that some of the changes past the tunnel are not permanent:You still need to activate the Red Door fusebox in the Boiler Room.You still need to retrieve the three Microchips from Blackbridge Grotto.Finally, when you reach the Blue Door, it should open to reveal a small room with three chests akin to the Parlor Puzzle. There are three boxes here:Blue: "You have reached the end of your journey."Black: "There is no end to this journey."White: "There are two true boxes in this room." Which box should you open?There's only one Wind-up Key by default. However, if you obtained the Parlor Room upgrade to have additional Wind-up Keys, then you can have three or more.
