Get in the car, we’re hunting cryptids
Bigfoot? Old news. Mothman? Dusty. No, if we’re tracking cryptids, we’re going for the real legend. We’re going after New Zealand’s legendary Fiordland Moose, and we’re doing it with a pair of HD binoculars that can attach to your phone when it’s time to take the shot.  Binoculars for all your moose-watching needs These HD Binoculars don’t mess around. With 12X magnification and oversized 50mm lenses, these things are built to spot movement deep in the trees or across a misty ridge. They’ve got ED glass and fully multi-coated lenses, which basically means you’re getting sharp, color-rich views even when the light starts to dip. And when the moment finally comes, and you spot antlers in the brush or something moving where it shouldn’t, you’ve got a built-in phone adapter to catch it. No more fumbling to line up your phone camera. Just clip it on and hit record. Then you can finally add your image to the archives of mostly blurry, strangely all black and white photos of that most elusive of moose.  These binoculars aren’t just for dry-weather strolls, either. They’re waterproof, fogproof, and made to be tossed in a pack without a second thought. You’re not canceling a moose hunt just because the forecast calls for drizzle. With a wide field of view and close focus that lets you zoom in without losing the big picture, these are great for cryptid chases, birdwatching, or just scanning the horizon like a wildlife documentary narrator. They even come in a classic green, so you’ll look the part while you’re out there trying to prove the impossible. It’s only $69.99 to get a pair of HD Binoculars, but we don’t have many left.  StackSocial prices subject to change.  12X50 HD Binoculars with Phone Adapter (Refurbished) – $69.99 See Deal What makes this deal special Binoculars with good magnification are a dime a dozen. What sets these apart is the included phone mount that lets you turn regular binoculars into a magnification lens for your camera, and the price is pretty hard to beat.

If you understand your mom’s disappointed stare, you’re already fluent in natural language.
If you understand your mom’s disappointed stare, you’re already fluent in natural language.3 min read·Just now--You know how sometimes she doesn’t need to say a word — and yet says everything?Ever felt a chill down your spine just from someone’s silent look of disappointment? That, my dear, is natural language. The truth is: you’ve been using this language to program the world for way longer than you think. And if you’ve ever frozen in place under Rochelle’s glare — like Chris in Everybody Hates Chris…Congratulations. You’re fluent. But wait… what exactly is natural language? We tend to think of language as just speech, text, nice words. But have you noticed how so many things in the world make sense… even when no one explains them? There are things we simply know.We feel them. Understand them. Interpret them. You’re reading the world all the timeThe truth is, we communicate with body language, silence, tone, even absence. When your mom says “I’m not going to say it again”… you know better than to talk back. When a baby cries in a higher pitch… you know it’s not just hunger. When a friend texts “I’m fine.” with a period… you know it’s absolutely not fine. When your cat locks eyes and lowers its body just slightly… you know an attack is coming. When someone is always late… you get the message — even if they don’t say a word. All of this is signal reading. And yes, it has a name: natural language.Okay. But what is it, really?Natural language is the way humans (and other creatures too) communicate, understand, and respond to the world — without needing formal rules or lines of code. It’s a living, messy, brilliant system we absorb from birth. It’s the way life talks to us — and how we make sense of what’s happening. It’s not just what people say or write. It lives in tone, pause, facial expression, context, silence. It’s in gestures, breath, repetition. And the most beautiful part? You’ve understood it forever.Long before AI was ever a thing.Reading the world is like watching a seriesIn movies and shows, you often understand things before anyone speaks, right? If the camera lingers on a trembling glass, you feel tension. If a character silently stares out a window, you sense something’s off.If the music suddenly cuts out, you know something’s coming. What you’re doing is reading signals. This process is almost automatic — so natural we barely notice it. But we do it.You know how to read it because you’ve already learned the language of cinema. No formal training needed. And that’s what we do all day, every day:Read patterns. Pick up on moods. Sense intentions. Interpret silences. Fill in the gaps.Life works the same way.It shows us signals. And we respond. What we call “interpretation” is really just reading the world through natural language. Why does this matter?Because once you realize this, it changes everything. You stop thinking you need big explanations to understand what’s going on.You start trusting your perception system a whole lot more. And most importantly:You begin to realize how much of what you understand, feel, and decide depends on this silent language you’ve been learning your whole life.In Part 2, we’ll talk about who else is learning this language with you(hint: it’s not human). But for now, just remember this:You read the world better than you think.Natural language is already yours. And it’s your most powerful tool for navigating reality.

Covenant Gets a New Trailer Showcasing its Dark Fantasy World and Souls-Like FPS Gameplay
Upcoming dark fantasy first-person shooter Covenant has a new trailer. Shown off during the recent Galaxies showcase, the trailer gives us a look at the dark fantasy vibes of the game, as well as a glimpse at some of its intricate levels and fast-paced combat. Check it out below. Covenant is being developed by Legion Studios – a development team made up of veterans of the industry that have previously worked on major titles like DOOM and Call of Duty. This pedigree can be seen in the bits of gameplay we get to see in the trailer, with its brutal weapons that also seemingly offer plenty of feedback for the player to portray their impact. The studio has described the world of Covenant as a large, interconnected one where players will be constantly on the move as they pass through various kingdoms and their dark underbellies. The studio distinctly refers to Souls-like games being an inspiration for the level design for the game, and players be able to discover shortcuts and solve puzzles to discover hidden paths. In terms of gameplay, Covenant looks like it will be taking quite a few cues from old-school shooters like Hexen. The player’s arsenal will be a combination of heavy melee weapons that players can unlock various fighting stances for, as well as ranged combat options like guns and even magic spells. An FAQ released by the studio back in December said that the combat in Covenant will “show more depth and creativity” than players will otherwise be used to from other shooters out there. Throughout the game, players will be able to meld martial arts, magic, and ancient weapons to take down their enemies. When it comes to melee combat, the studio has said that Covenant will use mechanics inspired by fighting games like from the Tekken and Super Smash Bros. franchises, as well as from immersive sims like Dishonored and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. Weapons that players find throughout their time in the game can also be improved “several times,” not only making them more effective in the process, but also unlocking new hidden abilities, traits, and catalysts. Covenant will also be taking another page from the Souls-like games playbook, allowing players to decide what weapons they want to equip in which hand for added customisation in combat styles. There will also be other forms of progression, such as unlocking new fighting stances that drastically alter the player’s fighting stance. This includes how the player will be able to even do basic actions, like running, jumping, kicking and sliding. Along with this, stances will also offer different elemental affinities. Covenant is also slated to support online multiplayer. The campaign itself will support co-op where players can team up to progress through the game together. Along with this, there will also be competitive multiplayer game modes, with dedicated arenas available or 1-on-1, 2-on-2 or 3-on-3 duels. Covenant doesn’t yet have a release date. Currently, only a PC version is in development, and will be available through Steam when it comes out.
