WWW.SEMAFOR.COMChina worried about Blue Sky's popularity because it put so much money into creating influence on XChinese state media is reportedly troubled by the latest exodus of X users flocking to Bluesky. State outlets, which put considerable resources into amassing millions of followers on Elon Musks social media platform including by buying ads, deploying bots, and hiring influencers have recently seen their growth plateau. The growing popularity of Bluesky, which has a largely liberal base and harder-to-manipulate algorithm, has sparked worried chatter within Chinese state media circles, a former Xinhua and China Daily employee wrote in his newsletter. He predicted the accounts will migrate to Bluesky, though it may take time. For now, the sectors focus has shifted back to domestic, Mandarin-language channels and platforms like Bilibili, WeChat, and Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok.0 Yorumlar 0 hisse senetleri 15 Views

WWW.VG247.COM"We're doing our best to include the right amount of story" - Arcane's showrunner on those season 2 pacing complaintsSlow It Down"We're doing our best to include the right amount of story" - Arcane's showrunner on those season 2 pacing complaintsNothing to be done about it now, though.Image credit: Riot/ Netflix News by Oisin Kuhnke Contributor Published on Nov. 26, 2024 A number of fans felt that Arcane season 2, particularly the last act, felt quite rushed, and showrunner Christian Linke has offered his thoughts on the complaints.Look, Arcane is a very pretty show to look at, but I think you'd be kidding yourself a bit if you didn't think the story felt a bit all over the place in the second (and final) season. There were way too many plotlines going on, that really needed at minimum an extra season to build towards. Now, in an interview with GamesRadar, showrunner Christian Linke has responded to fan complaints over the pacing. "When people watch season 1, there's an aspect to the pacing season 2 is a bit different in that regard," Linke said.To see this content please enable targeting cookies. "I respect that people express that [opinion]. You're right the vast majority of the audience seems to be happy. But there are people who say, 'It's rushed. What's going on?'" As GamesRadar notes, a big part of the appeal for many fans of the first season was the various characters' relationships and how they unfolded over the course of the season, but in this one a lot of it kind of sped over just to get to the end. Linke admits that the team "did approach season 2 a little bit differently in how we structured the episodes because we wanted, as creatives, to take these bets [and] take these swings."It seems like for most people that works really well. There's some people who specifically wanted to see the continuation of season one in that regard and are disappointed. I'm not happy that they feel that way, but I respect that." There's also the issue of having even more characters from that specific League of Legends universe that didn't even make it in, so as much as there were complaints about their being too much going on, Linke also recognised that some wanted even more."There are people who say it's too rushed, too much going on. There's also the flip side. I see like, 'Where's Camille? She's part of Piltover. Where's Blitzcrank? Where's Twitch? Why didn't you include them?' On one side, you have people saying it's too much. On the other, you have people saying we didn't do enough and we did our best It's hard. We're doing our best to include the right amount of story."As mentioned, I really do think Arcane needed at least another season, but you can see why it didn't when you see how much both seasons cost. Plus, it sounds like there's plenty more on the way from Riot on the multimedia front anyway, so I guess they needed to wrap this one up any which way.0 Yorumlar 0 hisse senetleri 16 Views

WWW.VG247.COMStitch ventures head-first into the uncanny in the first teaser trailer for the live-action remake of Lilo and StitchLook Familiar?Stitch ventures head-first into the uncanny in the first teaser trailer for the live-action remake of Lilo and StitchJust nothing behind the eyes in this one.Image credit: Disney News by Oisin Kuhnke Contributor Published on Nov. 26, 2024 Disney has finally released a look at Stitch in the live-action Lilo and Stitch Remake in motion, and it's only a little bit uncomfortable.Just last week we got a trailer for one beloved animated film that's being turned into a cash grab live-action remake (How to Train Your Dragon), and now we've got another one, this time from Disney instead of DreamWorks. The house of mouse released the 30 second teaser yesterday which mostly shows Stitch pretending to be Godzilla, destroying a sand castle that looks like the iconic Disney castle, amongst other, regular sandcastles. Aside from a bit at the end where a CGI character is placed in a void to interact with some text (in this case, the release date, which is May 23, 2025 by the way), you won't find much else there. A pretty bare bones first look! Watch on YouTubeThe film's official logline doesn't sound any different from the original logline, noting that Lilo and Stitch follows "the bond formed between a lonely human girl named Lilo and a dog-like alien named Stitch, who is engineered to be a force of destruction." Original director Chris Sanders is back to voice Stitch, with Dean Fleischer Camp (Marcel the Shell with Shoes On) taking over directing duties. To see this content please enable targeting cookies. In terms of the rest of the cast, first-time actor Maia Kealoha will be portraying Lilo, with Sydney Agudong (On My Block) playing her older sister Nani. Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) will be the voice of Jumba, Billy Magnussen (Game Night) as Pleakley, and Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso) is in there too as a yet-to-be announced character, but you can probably place a safe bet on her being the Grand Councilwoman. With the film due out in less than a year, I'm sure a full trailer won't be too far away, but in the meantime Disney is looking to make a whole bunch of money this holiday season with Moana 2, which is out this week.0 Yorumlar 0 hisse senetleri 16 Views

TECHCRUNCH.COMRaspberry Pi launches Compute Module 5 for embedded appsRaspberry Pi is better known for its single-board computer with a ton of ports sticking out. The most recent of which is the Raspberry Pi 5, which was introduced in September 2023.These small computers are perfect for the education market and for tech enthusiasts looking for a cheap computing device to power an interactive dashboard, create a retro game console, and more.On Wednesday Raspberry Pi is introducing a new product, the Compute Module 5. These system-on-module variants are more compact single-board computers without any traditional ports. That makes them particularly well suited for embedded applications. Many companies are using Raspberry Pi Compute Modules in commercial products. In 2023, the enthusiasts and education segment represented 28% of the companys single-board computer and Compute Module sales, while the industrial and embedded segment accounted for 72% of sales. The new Compute Module 5 starts at $45 and shares many of the specifications of the Raspberry Pi 5, starting with the quad-core Arm Cortex-A76 processor, support for two 4K displays with a 60Hz refresh rate, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity.Just as with the Compute Module 4, there are a ton of options. You can choose Compute Modules with or without wireless technologies; with 2GB, 4GB or 8GB of RAM; and with up to 64GB of on-board flash storage. The most expensive Compute Module now costs $95. Raspberry Pi also offers an optional passive heatsink that covers the entire Compute Module for $5.Image Credits:Raspberry PiAnd if youre working with the Compute Module 5, you can buy an IO board for $20 that lets you take advantage of all its interfaces and start developing. You can also turn the Compute Module 5 into a small desktop computer with a metal case that protects the Module hardware and the IO board. Now, lets see if Raspberry Pi plans to update the Raspberry Pi 400 next. That device is essentially a keyboard with a built-in Raspberry Pi computer based on the Raspberry Pi 4 and its extremely cute.Image Credits:Raspberry Pi0 Yorumlar 0 hisse senetleri 14 Views
