    With Tokyo Game Show 2025 getting closer and closer, various gaming companies have started revealing what titles we will see presented at the event. Koei Tecmo is the latest in this, with its page on the official TGS website confirming that it will be bringing three of its major titles tot he show Nioh 3, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, and Ninja Gaiden 4.The titles will be available on both of the business days, from September 25 to 26, as well as both of the public days, from September 27 to 28. Along with the games, Koei Tecmo will also feature merchandise from across its various games, ranging from Atelier Yumia acrylic figures and tapestries, to Dynasty Warriors: Origins keychains, and Nioh 3 T-Shirts.Several companies are slated to be present at Tokyo Game Show 2025, with an announcement from July confirming that Sony Interactive Entertainment, Capcom, Sega, and Kojima Productions will also be present alongside heavy hitters like Square Enix and Koei Tecmo. The announcement for the event was made with a trailer, which also featured new art work that was made specially for the event by organiser Computer Entertainment Suppliers Association.I am truly happy to have received so many reactions to the teaser illustration, said artist Zashiki Warashi about the artworks reveal. I drew it with a feeling of gratitude towards those involved in game production. I put my heart into it despite the pressure of such a prestigious event like TGS. I would be happy if visitors to TGS enjoy it even a little!While more details are getting revealed over time, TGS 2025 is slated to feature 772 exhibitors, out of which 473 will be Japanese companies. The venue will feature more than 4,000 booths across a massive exhibition space, with the booths including developers and publishers from across the indie and AAA gaming industries.Interestingly, recent reports have indicated that Microsoft is looking to make a big splash at Tokyo Game Show 2025 with a brand new announcement. According to the report, the company will be announcing Forza Horizon 6 at the event. However, considering the nature of rumours, anything short of an official announcement should be taken with a grain of salt.The rumour comes courtesy of an Instagram post by Japanese vehicle maker Kei, which indicated that Japan would be the venue for the Forza Horizon franchises in-game Horizon Festival, which tends to be the excuse to give players access to a massive open world map with a variety of driving-based activities.Tokyo Game Show 2025 is the next major event after Gamescom earlier this month. Typically, major announcements arent made at TGS. Rather, the event serves as a way for professionals from across the industry to meet together and present playable demos to each other and the public at large. TGS does get a few announcements every now and then, but the event is known for more details of already-announced games being revealed, rather than for the place where brand new titles are announced.

I have been reflecting on the past years activities and the many people who have contributed to the work we have done this year. I would like to thank the International Chapter Institute staff, and the current International Chapter Councillors all of whom have worked together to deliver some excellent results.I would like to thank the current Chapter Councillors for all of their efforts and time given over the past year, many of whom join us online for meetings at various times of the day and night depending on their time zones. It was wonderful to meet face to face in Hobart, Tasmania this year and collaborate with both the Tasmania Chapter, SONA and the creative directors of the Australasian Student Architecture Congress Ground Matters on Bl?ck Party, a combined celebration of International and Tasmanian Chapters awards presentations and the closing party for Ground Matters!This year we are joined by Amy Learmonth as EmAGN (Emerging Architects and Graduates network) representative on International Chapter Council, we are working to grow our EmAGN membership and engagement with this demographic within the International Chapter and having Amy in this role provides a vital connection back to the National EmAGN committee and to our emerging architect members. We have advocated for and been successful in changing criteria of the Emerging Architect Prize, the prize is now to be awarded annually rather than biannually, and further the International Chapter winner will now also be eligible to proceed to the national competition.In addition, this year we have hosted Boarding Pass events in Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, collaborating with the respective Institutes of Architecture in these countries. These events are always an engaging evening, an opportunity to connect with colleagues and share experiences working in architecture internationally. I encourage you to attend the next Boarding Pass event in your international region more on that next year!It can be a challenge to connect when living and working internationally and the International Chapter is delighted to be hosting some Festive Gatherings online to ensure all of our members can connect with us and share in some festive trivia.     Parking Day 2024 Activate Dubbeldam Photo by Bruno BelliPark(ing) Day, an annual worldwide, public art project that reimagines parking spaces into pop-up parks and social spaces for a day, is returning next month.This years edition, which will take place from September 19 to 21, 2025, invites people worldwide to reclaim street, boulevard, and lot parking spaces, and turn them into temporary micro-parks and community spaces for design, play, and conversation.Park(ing) Day aims to call attention to the need for more accessible and inclusive public spaces in dense urban areas. By encouraging people to think about the use of public space in cities, the initiative raises awareness about the need for more open, green, and social areas in urban environments.The initiative also provides an opportunity to engage in an ongoing conversation about the design and construction of cities and highlights the need to enhance the accessibility and quantity of public open spaces in densely populated urban zones while emphasizing the significance of these spaces for social and environmental interactions.Park(ing) Daybegan in 2005 as a design activism project by the design studio Rebar, transforming a single parking spot in San Francisco. In 2024, more than 20 activations were realized across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), involving a wide range of participants, from architecture and design studios to artists, nonprofits, community groups, and residents.To support broader participation and make the event more accessible, Dubbeldam Architecture + Design launched the Park(ing) Day Toronto Grants Program in 2024 to offer grants of up to $500 to support eligible Park(ing) Day activations.For the 2025 event, the grant program continues, thanks to support from this years Grant Partners Arup Canada, SvN Architects + Planners, Dialog and Fast+Epp. Community organizations, non-profits, local groups, and individuals are invited to apply.     Sarcophyton glaucum, also known as toadstool leather coral or rough leather coral, is a species of soft coral in the family Alcyoniidae, found from the Red Sea to the western Pacific Ocean. Like other members of Alcyoniidae, it does not have a hard exoskeleton. They are sedentary and taxonomically identified by calcareous sclerites on their exoskeletons, and feature polyps with eight tentacles. Sarcophyton corals build monospecific colonies, typically found in a range of intertidal, subtidal, and near-shore reef flat habitats. Individual S.glaucum corals grow up to 80 centimetres (31in), usually on reef flats, in lagoons, or on seaward slopes. So where peons can respawn if they fall in battle, its only when the city is destroyed that your run is over!Fortunately, the city can also protect itself through archery outposts, necromancy towers and even fire-breathing dragons. As long as youve got the coin, wood, gems and stone to fulfil the requirements, you can build a real fortress of destruction! Resources, by the way, youll have to gather while fighting and protecting the city, balancing risk versus reward.Defeated monsters drop gems which you use to power up. And off the beaten path you can find even more, unexpected ways to give your Peon an edge in battle. But despite the fast and furious pace of MaC: R&R, you will be able to find some respite at shelters. Here, you can take some time to decidewhat to spend your newfound wealth on andadd even rarer buildings to your arsenal. Some of which affect your gold in-take or damage output, but you can also buildtowers that freeze monsters or spawn additional minions to repel the continued invasion. Should you be defeated, at the end of each run you can also use your built up experience and resources to add permanent upgrades to your peon and city. As you try to fight through four biomes, finding the right city build, selectingintegral attributes to help you reach the Arch, youve definitely got your work cut out for you against some of the deadliest creatures youve had the misfortune to encounter.
