Disneys totally-not-a-princess protagonist Moana (Aulii Cravalho) (who is also canonically a princess) returns in Moana 2, now available for digital rental or purchase. Shes joined by demigod Maui (Dwayne Johnson), Heihei the chicken (Alan Tudyk), Pua the pig, and the ferocious, tiny coconut warriors known as the Kakamora. In Moana, the Kakamora are just one of the threats Maui and Moana encounter on their journey together; Moana 2 sees them taking on a new and more prominent role.A deleted scene from Moana 2, featured as part of the movies home release, changes the nature of the encounter between Moanas new crew and the pirate coconuts. In this scene, instead of the whole crew getting hit by Kakamora darts, only Moana takes the hit. The rest of them Maui fanboy Moni (Huallai Chung), quirky inventor Loto (Rose Matafeo), and elderly farmer Kele (David Fane) are captured and squeezed together in rope netting suspended above the ship. (Pua gets his own cage.) Moana insists she can still help her crew, but given that shes completely limp, her face pressed against the deck and her words slurred, that isnt looking super-likely.The scene is funny, but co-director Jason Hand says ultimately, the filmmakers wanted to spend less time on the Kakamora barge, and streamline the action a little. In the final film, Moanas whole crew gets darted and paralyzed and Pua gets a dart right in the butt.Moana 2 hit theaters in November 2024. Originally, it was supposed to be a Disney Plus series, but much like Disneys sequel Atlantis: Milos Return, it was expanded and repackaged into a full-length movie (albeit with much more polish). Moana takes to the seas again in Moana 2, this time with a whole crew, a bigger, badder villain, and a post-credits hint about an even bigger conflict to come.Moana2is now available for purchase or rental at Amazon Video, Apple TV, Fandango at Home, and other digital platforms, and will be available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on March 18. If youve noticed water dripping from or pooling under your fridge, there's no need to panic (right away). There are some basic troubleshooting steps you can take to diagnose the problem, and you might even be able to fix it yourself. If your fridge is leaking, here are five problems to check for before calling a professionaland how to fix them before your trickle becomes a flood.Damaged door sealYour refrigerators has a big, rubberized gasket that seals the outer edges of the door and maintains the proper moisture inside the fridge. If it's dirty, cracked, or damaged, it can allow air to flow between the interior and exterior of the fridge, causing water to condense in the area. You can usually remove the old gasket with a Phillips head screwdriver or a hex wrench. Check online with the model number of your fridge for a compatible replacement gasket. You can install the new one by inserting it into the slot in the edge of the door and replacing the hardware that holds it on.Cracked drip panIn some cases, a cracked drip pan can be the culprit. You can check the drip pan by removing the front grill of the fridge at the bottom, usually by either unclipping or unscrewing it. The drip pan will be under the fridge, behind the grill, and will be able to slide out once the grill is free. If your drip pan is cracked, you should use your model number to look up the appropriate replacement part for your fridge, and then you can slide the replacement in and replace the grill.Clogged ice dispenserIf your ice dispenser is leaking, there's probably ice lodged in the chute; that ice will melt over time and slowly drip. If the chute is really jammed up, future ice will also become lodged inside, causing the appearance of a leak. To fix it, allow the clogged shoot to thaw for a few hours before trying to use it again. If theres no ice in the chute, you should look for problems with the water line.Worn out water linesSometimes, your fridge's water lines can get damaged, or just wear out over time. The first step to address this problem is to look over the hoses on the back of the fridge to see if there are any visible kinks or cracks in them. Check near the valves as well to see if the connectors are snug. If you find damaged hoses or valves, you can find replacement parts for most systems online or at a hardware store. To avoid an even bigger leak, turn the water off before removing damaged tubing or undoing kinks in the line. Make sure to measure the length of hose you need to allow for adequate length when installingand always check your connections before turning the water back on.Ice on defrost drainSometimes, ice can build up in the defrost drain of your fridge, causing moisture to find another exit. Look for the defrost drain in the bottom of your freezer toward the back to see if theres an ice blockage. If thats the case, you can unclog it using a mixture of two cups of hot water and two tablespoons of baking soda. Use a turkey baster to squirt your drain cleaner into the drain at the back of your appliance, and you should see the ice melt away pretty quickly.

The UK's Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has announced its preliminary findings that the cloud services market "is not working as well as it could be." That relatively vague statement follows a 16-month investigation into the UK's cloud services market, especially its two largest providers, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft. Both companies hold between a 30 and 40 percent market share, followed by Google at five to 10 percent.Despite the vague thesis statement, the CMA's investigation has so far raised a few critical points and recommendations. It found that there are alternative cloud suppliers face significant barriers to enter and expand in the market. Also, that "technical and commercial barriers" limit customers' ability to switch providers, such as data transfer charges. Specific to Microsoft, the CMA stated that the company uses its large software presence to limit how effectively AWS and Google can compete when it comes to customers who want to use that software while on the cloud.The CMA reports that UK businesses and organizations have increased their spending on cloud services by 30 percent each year hitting 9 billion ($11 million) in 2023. Given this 9 billion spend, the CMA stated that paying just five percent more than prices in a "well-functioning market," would cumulatively cost another 430 million ($535 million) annually more if the growth continues."Given the size of capital investment and economies of scale required to provide cloud infrastructure services, there may be a natural limit to the number of providers who can compete effectively in these markets," the CMA's states in its release. "For this reason, it is vital that competition between even a small number of providers works well for customers."The inquiry group points to a new solution: Strategic Market Status (SMS) designation for AWS and Microsoft's cloud services. The label comes courtesy of the UK's new Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers (DMCC) Act and would allow the CMA to enforce greater regulation and pro-competition directives on the two services. "Should AWS and Microsoft be designated as having SMS, the CMA would be able to consider the interventions we have considered in this inquiry relating to egress fees, technical barriers and Microsofts licensing practices," the release further states.Earlier this month, the CMA opened investigations into whether Google's search practices and mobile ecosystems should receive SMS designation.
