It's a lesson all of us need to learn sooner or later, and Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead has now had to deal with it, with what looks like a pretty benign proposed change regarding the sharing of datamined content on the nerdiest, spreadsheetiest channel of the game's official Discord server having caused a bit of a ruckus.With the Galactic War now resumed following its recent hiatus as Arrowhead worked to fix a bug with planet liberation rates that'd been "harming the game experience", this is clearly something folks feel passionate about. Well, over the weekend, the Arrowhead community staff who run Helldivers 2's official Discord server revealed plans to stop players from sharing any links to datamined content in the server's "The-Armoury" channel - the bit specifically designed to host chatter about gear, from guns, to armours, and even capes.The reasoning given for this proposed change was a desire to try and de-toxify the discourse around weapons a bit, as well as ensuring that potentially inaccurate stats won't be shared, while still allowing people to talk numbers. "Honestly, we want to try and make this channel more welcoming," Arrowhead community manager Katherine 'Baskinator' Baskin explained, "The constant reliance and pushing of datamined infodumps is alienating to people who just want to chat about weapons without it spiraling into an argument about datapoints."This rule has been in effect in every other channel in the server," they added, "This one has gotten away with circumventing it for a long time because we have earnestly tried to support these efforts. But every time I enter this channel, I see nothing but petty arguments, and it's time to reel it in." Image credit: VG247Understandably, there's been plenty of push back from players who enjoy using data from community-created spreadsheets in their gun comparisions, with plenty pointing out that Arrowhead doesn't share this info in-game, meaning they can't easily switch to referencing official sources instead. "It's fine to want those things communicated in-game," the community manager told one player in the server who brought this point up, "I think it's great to keep asking for that feature."Thankfully, it seems a bit of a compromise has been reached since all this chatter took place. One of the channel's most prolific spreadsheet posters - a user going by the very apt handle "John Spreadsheet" - and Baskinator having confirmed that they and other community resource creators can still post links to their creations in the channel, so long as they include a clear disclaimer that what they're sharing is "unofficial" in nature. Monster Hunter Wilds has a pretty substantial game-breaking bug right now, which prevents progress through to the later parts of the story. Thankfully, Capcom is aware and working on a fix, but if you're nearing Chapter 5-2, it might be worthing doing some side content for now.The mission, titled A World Turned Upside Down, is one of the post-credits missions, and is a pretty substantial narrative moment in the epilogue. We won't spoil it, obviously, but it's a fairly rough spot to reach a progress bug. It's worth noting that this bug doesn't appear to be impacting all players, (as I and others have gotten past this point), so it's worth giving the mission a try even with this bug being out there. We know that Capcom is aware of this bug thanks to its Monster Hunter Status official Twitter account, which posts a variety of bug fixes and declarations to users on the platform. On March 2, it posted: "Hunters, we are currently investigating the following issue. There's no word as of writing outlining when a fix will be coming, which might put a halt on player's journeys through the game. Google is adding new features to its AI assistant, Gemini, that let users ask it questions using video or content on the screen in real time. At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona, the company showed off a new Screenshare feature, which lets users share whats on their phones screen with Gemini and ask questions about the company. As an example, the company showed a video of a user shopping for a pair of baggy jeans and asking Gemini what other clothing would pair well with it. As for the video search feature, Google had teased it at Google I/O last year. The feature lets you take a video and ask Gemini questions about it as youre filming.Google said these features will roll out to Gemini Advanced users on the Google One AI Premium plan on Android later this month.

Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer OPPO has announced the global availability of its new Find N5 foldable smartphone.While foldable phones have evolved rapidly in recent years, one of the biggest engineering challenges has been the hinge, striking the perfect balance between strength, flexibility, and a slim profile. With the Find N5, OPPO was able to tackle these issues, thanks to Chinese 3D printer manufacturer Bright Laser Technologies (BLT) 3D printing technology.In a LinkedIN post, the 3D printer manufacturer said, At BLT, were excited to share how our cutting-edge metal 3D printing technology is revolutionizing the foldable phone industry. The future of 3C manufacturing is herepowered by BLTs smart, additive manufacturing solutions.Unfolded, Find N5 has the largest display of any book-style foldable. Foldable phone hinges need durability and precision, which traditional methods like machining or casting struggle to achieve.By adopting metal 3D printing, OPPO and BLT optimized the hinges structure, reducing its thickness from 0.3mm to 0.15mm while increasing rigidity by 36%, significantly improving strength, and impact resistance. The 3D printing process involved layering titanium powder and bonding it with a laser, allowing for fine-tuned internal reinforcements that would be challenging to produce through conventional techniques.Compared to its predecessor, the Find N5s hinge is 26% smaller yet significantly more rigid, featuring an updated structure and improved materials. Frida Escobedo has since been followed bySumayya Vally, Lina Ghotmeh and now Tabassum.As the AR celebrates 10 years of co-organising the WAwards with the Architects Journal, we reflect on the past decade and how they have evolved. In 2016, the awards then known as Women inArchitecture focused on the work of lead female designers. In 2020, the awards were renamed and expanded to recognise the non-binary nature of gender. Then, in 2021, a new prize was introduced to make visible the contribution of architects who choose to work within practices rather than setting up their own. Twoyears ago, we added a prize celebrating research into gender and the built environment, acknowledging the many ways practitioners contribute to architectural culture.Gender is entangled with many threads, including the climate emergency.
