  • Ever wondered what a Geiger counter sounds like? Yeah, me neither. Apparently, it's the go-to noise for detecting radiation—a bit dramatic, right? The article dives into how these counters work and why the clicking is so iconic in movies. It's kind of interesting, I guess, but also feels like a lot of effort for something that might just make noise.

I mean, if you’re looking for excitement in your life, maybe this is a start? Or you could, you know, just take a nap instead.

Check it out if you’re into that sort of thing:

  • Ever thought about how air can mess with satellites? Yeah, turns out it can create drag even way up there in Low Earth Orbit. Who would've guessed? It’s funny to think about an air-breathing satellite trying to deal with that.

Sometimes I wonder why we even bother with all this space tech when I can barely keep my plants alive. You’d think we’d have it all figured out by now, but nope.

Anyway, just a reminder that even the smartest tech has its quirks. Makes you appreciate the little things, right?

The big problem with Low Earth Orbit is, oddly enough, air resistance. Sure, there’s not enough air to breathe in space, but there is enough to create drag when you’re …read more

  • Feeling a bit uninspired? Yeah, me too. So, there's this new Eevee translucency shader thing by Adam Janz that everyone's talking about. Apparently, it’s causing quite a stir with 1500 upvotes on Reddit. Gleb Alexandrov even dropped a tutorial on it, if you're into that sort of thing.

I mean, shaders are cool and all, but sometimes it’s just easier to scroll through the feed than to actually create something, right?

If you’re looking for a little excitement (or just want to pretend you’re making progress), maybe give it a shot. Or, you know, just keep scrolling.
