T-Online Pulls Tesla Survey After 253,000 Votes Cast From Just 2 IPs In The US The survey went from over 90% opposed to Tesla to more than 70% in favor in just one week https://www.carscoops.com/author/stephen-rivers/ by Stephen Rivers4 hours ago html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/loose.dtd"A poll set up in Germany about whether respondents would buy a Tesla is making waves. At first, it indicated a consumer shift away from the brand, and then it mysteriously flipped. It appears that over 250,000 votes came from just two IP addresses in the U.S.Tesla and Elon Musk are under the microscope these daysand its not just in the United States. Germanys been taking a long, hard look at the company and its colorful CEO, with a recent online poll showing that a staggering 94 percent of Germans wouldnt touch a Tesla with a ten-foot pole. But, surprise, surprisejust days later, the poll results started flipping, with the people behind it claiming the results might have been manipulated.Read: Tesla Owners Personal Info Leaked On DOGEQuest Site, Musk RespondsCarscoops recently covered the German survey from T-Online, and the results werent exactly flattering for Musk. Just 3 percent of over 100,000 respondents said theyd consider buying a Tesla, following Musks awkward Nazi-like salute and his very public support for a right-wing party in Germany. Not exactly a shining moment for his PR team.Poll Results Take a Wild TurnA week later, the number of people voting in the still-open poll had surged to over 467,500, with an astonishing 70 percent saying theyd consider buying a Tesla. T-Online investigated the sudden jump and discovered that 253,000 of the votes came from just two IP addresses in the USA.The publication plainly stated, This suggests that the survey may have been manipulated. But the suspected manipulation didnt end there.T-Online also found that the survey had been shared thousands of times on X, including one notable post by Elon Musk himself, after the results turned positive. His post alone garnered around 2.8 million views on X within just two hours. The German outlet reported that by Tuesday night, several hundred people were responding to the survey every minute. With the true origin of the votes in question, the survey was ultimately shut down.Manipulated or Just a Coincidence? We should be clear that theres no direct link between Musk and the swing in the poll at this time. However, the details provided by T-Online suggest that someone, or some group, may have manipulated the results. Its hard to ignore the possibility that Musks loyal followers on X, where hes basically an unofficial king, might have added to the noise, especially after his post. In fact, many of you pointed out flaws in the survey during our initial coverage. As one reader put it: Its not an independent survey that sampled participants voters randomly. Everybody can take it. As often as they want. They even included a screenshot showing the state of the poll at that moment. Clearly, the data source could use a bit of cleaning up. Load more comments

New Look"We'd be remiss to not act on that" Positive feedback on Warframe 1999 protoframes has the team thinking of the future.Speaking with head of community director & live ops Megan Everett, the love of protoframes is a "testament to being risky and getting weird with it"Image credit: VG247 Article by Connor Makar Staff Writer Published on March 19, 2025 Warframe 1999: Techrot Encore comes out today, a much-anticipated follow-up to the weird and wonderful 1999 expansion which added romance, grunge, and a tank with tentacles. As those who've played Warframe 1999 will know, protoframes - human precursors to the beloved frames we've been messing around with for years - have gone down especially well among the community.I wanted to find out more about the community reception to 1999, how it's impacted the development on Warframe: Techrot Encore and beyond, and whether or not we can expect to see more protoframes in the future. To help me learn more, community director and head of live ops Megan Everett sat down and provided some insight into how protoframes went down, and what we can expect in the coming years. To see this content please enable targeting cookies. VG247: What was the team's response to the feedback to Warframe 1999?Everett: "The feedback was amazing, as we weren't sure how players were going to react to 1999. It's such a different vibe to what we've built going on 12 years now nad it was a risk going that route. For the Protoframes we've said for the longest time, and were serious, that there were no humans under the suits! Now, we've done a version of it that's kind of different. But once players saw Arthur at Tennocon years ago we knew we were on the right track, that we could do the romance system."It was all such a risk with 1999, as we had never done romance before, never done such an era themed update where people have lived through that time, with people knowing what instant messager and boybands were, and make it Warframe. The response was beyond our wildest dreams [...] and it's why this echoes update is the biggest we've ever done."VG247: Were you not expecting a positive reaction?Everett: "In terms of expectations you hope and you dream players will like it obviously, but we didn't expect players to connect with it as much as they did. Like, I have never seen an update produce as much fan art as 1999 has, and how much people have very passionately and personally connected to the stories of these characters. We've been doing lore and narrative writing for years now, trying to make characters cool and interesting, but I don't think I've ever felt this much care from a player about a character from a game before than we've seen with protoframes. It's a testament to being risky and getting weird with it."VG247: Has the positive reaction to the protoframes effected the team's mindset in regards to future updates? Has this changed plans you had in mind?Everett: "I think it effected our mindset in that we've set the bar very high for ourselves for protoframes, and in Technrot Encore, the four new protoframes are not romanceable. That was a decision that we had to really talk about honestly with ourselves. You see the reception from the romance in 1999 protoframes and it's clear that players want that and they like that, and are excited for more. But it was realistically not going to happen with these protoframes. So it's up to us seeing that feedback to make sure that the relationship that you do get to have with these new characters is going to make you love and care about these characters as much as the original protoframes were." Looking at this cast, it's safe to say Warframe fans have much to look forward to. | Image credit: Digital ExtremesVG247: While you've gotten good feedback surrounding 1999 and protoframes in particular, I imagine given the development time of creating these characters you've not been able to expand on their presence in Tehcrot Encore. That being said, will we see more protoframes in the future? Perhaps more than originally planned?Everett: "I think we've come to this cadence of a big update and then an echeos update after that, and we've been cooking on these protoframes since last year, so we knew they'd be coming in the echoes update. But, we do know the roadmap for the next year or two. So I do want to set expectations that there is not a protoframe in every update. It has to be appropriate, it has to fit somewhere, and as you said it takes a lot of work. It depends too on the level in which you react with them. Is it romance, is it the kin system, is it something else? It's a lot of work, but it has to be the right place and time.""But seeing the reaction to protoframes it's clear that players like them, and we'd be remiss to not act on that in some way going forward. It just has to be the right time, and has to fit the story we're progressing through. If it doesn't fit in an update we're cooking in this year or next year, it won't have a protoframe. But if it does fit, it does."VG247: That's make sense. I imagine with protoframes being linked quite firmly to the 1999 setting it would be hard to through them into the modern setting, lounging around on Mars or whatever.Everett: "Even the Techrot Encore ones, when you talk to and come to understand them you learn where they were even when the events of 1999 were happening, because those are players want to know! They're thinking I went through all this stuff with the original protoframes, where were these four, what were they doing? So we have to expand the world a bit to make it make sense. But yeah, it's very - at this current time they're beholden to the 1999 universe. So if and when we do other protoframes, how do we make it make sense? That's TBD right now (laughs)."Check out Warframe 1999: Techrot Encore today and meet these protoframes yourselves. Let us know which is your favourite.

  • Lunar Remastered Collection Talks New Voice Acting And Classic Mode
    www.nintendolife.com
Image: GungHo Online EntertainementWith just a month to go before the Lunar Remastered Collection launches, GungHo Online Entertainment America has shared some insight into the upcoming rereleases.Speaking to PlayStation.Blog, GungHo Producer Matthias Pergams says that the team initially struggled to decide what version to base the remasters on as the games were release for both SEGA-CD and later for the PlayStation (Lunar: Silver Star Story also came to PSP and mobile)."Each version is different and possesses unique merits," Pergams states. "Ultimately, the choice came down to which version we felt represented the series best. For us, it was the PlayStation version." The collection is largely faithful to these PS1 versions too, with no changes to combat or story, saying the team :wanted to preserve the gameplay as it was envisioned by original developer GAME ARTS."Subscribe to Nintendo Life on YouTube799kWatch on YouTube While the visuals have received the biggest upgrade, there's one aspect of the games that is extremely important to fans the original voice acting. This remaster will feature an all-new cast for both games; no more John Truitt as Ghaleon, then! Names haven't been revealed yet, bu Pergams is confident in the team's choices:"Our priority when recording was making sure that we preserved the identity of each character through their new voice actors. We considered how we wanted each character to sound. Once we locked that down, we started looking at voice actors who were close to that, and then selected them based on how well they captured what we were envisioning. The end product is something were proud of.As well as voice acting, all the vocal songs sung by Luna and Lucia in the game have been rerecorded with the new voice actors, " which we modeled after the original Japanese version of the game.Noriyuki Iwadare, composer of the original games, has returned to record a brand new song which plays during the game selection screen, titled 'Looking up at TERRA'.Quality of life updates have been added, which GungHo has previously talked about, and these include speed-up during battle and customisable AI. One new change mentioned in the blog is a new inventory feature in Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete' you can now toggle between a "unified inventory system" or stick with the original's individual character inventories.Another big draw is the ability to play each game in either the remastered graphics and the original PS1 visuals, and there's a CRT filter, to replicate the experience of playing the game on an old CRT screen.Images: GungHo Online EntertainementIn Remastered Mode, you'll be treated to improved in-game effects, updated UI, cutscene touch-ups and Pergams says the team "took a great deal of care" to keep them similar to how they were before. The aspect ratio has also been updated to fit modern TVs, but classic mode keeps that smaller scale in-tact.GungHo has been in regular contact with the team who originally developed the Lunar series, and everything has been done with their blessing, including the scenario writer and character designer, the latter of whom has returned to draw new artwork.Sounds like the Lunar Remastered Collection is a labour of love for the developers, and for many, this is a dream come true. • In Brooklyn, Language and Laughter Studio by ONeill McVoy Architects offers a master class in light, color, and energy
    www.archpaper.com
The corner of Vanderbilt Avenue and Fulton Street in Brooklyns Clinton Hill neighborhood is a lively one. Black-and-white stencils of children by the street artist JR line the facade of Language and Laughter Studio (LLS), a French immersion preschool and language center helmed by Pascale Setbon, a progressive early-childhood education visionary. The school was founded by Setbon in 2006 but moved into its new purpose-built home designed by ONeill McVoy Architects in early 2025. We dont follow one single model, Setbon told AN one January morning at LLS. She was accompanied by her dog, Ima, as kids swaddled in winter clothing came indoors from the cold. Whats most important to us are values, Setbon added. What kind of citizen are they going to be when they grow up? How do you connect to language? How do you connect to objects? To nature? How do you connect to others and yourself?Buildings by Luis Barragn and Le Corbusier were a starting point for the design of the school. (Nicholas Calcott)During COVID-19, before the new location of LLS was built, Setbon and her staff relocated the school to Fort Greene Park, where they built an outdoor classroom reminiscent of forest schools in Switzerland and the Netherlands. The new location can be understood as an extension of the Fort Greene Park Nature School at LLS and its pedagogy, albeit an interiorized version. Beth ONeill and Chris McVoy, founders of ONeill McVoy Architects, took Setbons interest in nature, art, and psychology and ran with it in their design for LLS. A Painterly ApproachLanguage and Laughter Studio has two entrances; it occupies a 3,300-square-foot storefront space on the ground floor of a new multifamily residential building. The primary corner entry leads students and staffers into a well-lit, cozy lobby furnished with beautiful rugs and art books. The imagination is immediately activated thanks to a prominent mural of forestry by Olivia Angelozzi, a New Yorkbased illustrator. The mural occupies a total of six walls within the school; its painterly aesthetic contrasts nicely with the photo collages by JRthe prolific French street artist whom Setbon invited to make bespoke artwork for LLSand the polychromatic interior partitions ideated by ONeill and McVoy.Artwork at the school includes a mural of forestry by Olivia Angelozzi, a New Yorkbased illustrator. (Nicholas Calcott)McVoy was a senior partner at Steven Holl Architects for decades before cofounding his firm, so he knows a thing or two about natural light. He was the project lead for the Art Bloch Building at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, which has earned widespread acclaim for its use of skylights and clerestory windows, among other award-winning projects. The curved, interior partition walls that delineate classrooms within LLS are as thoughtful and beautiful as the Art Bloch Building, albeit in a much smaller space. The colors of the partitions change as the day transpires, animated by silhouettes of teachers and giddy childrenunless, of course, its nap time. The partitions, from the Italian manufacturer Bencore, were bent at precise angles. (Nicholas Calcott)The design process started when Setbon handed ONeill and McVoy a mood board of aesthetic aspirationsincluding buildings by Luis Barragn and Le Corbusierbut with a compressed timeline: They had just 11 months to design and finish the space. Setbon, ONeill, and McVoy worked intensively together with Rockhill Construction, the builder, going back and forth between design meetings and charettes. The architects studied the teachings of psychologist Jean Piaget, who researched how children perceive space. Children dont come out understanding orthogonal architecture, McVoy said. Having surfaces continue creates continuity, light versus dark, openness versus enclosure. Color is energy. The walls are made of tiny straws from 100 percent recycled acrylic. (Nicholas Calcott)Where Architecture Meets PedagogySpaces by Le Corbusier and Barragn may have been the starting point, but the architects said they sought something different. If Barragn painted planes, ONeill and McVoy wanted the color to come from within the walls of Language and Laughter Studio. To that end, they opted for luminous panels shaded in violet, yellowish gold, olive green, blue satin, and lilac, a set inspired by Barragns work. They found 100 percent recycled acrylic, which helped them achieve the effect they wanted: Thousands of tiny straws make up the walls, creating an almost granular, stained-glass effect. The partitions, from the Italian manufacturer Bencore, were bent at precise angles specified by the architect and then shipped overseas.Cork floors, made of 100 percent rapidly renewable bark, give the ground plane an earthy feel. (Nicholas Calcott)The circulation areas floor is lacquered in powder blue; the team refers to it as the river. In the classrooms, cork floors, made of 100 percent rapidly renewable bark, give the ground plane an earthy feel. The ceilings are lined with soft, sky-blue acoustic panels; the nebulous materials are meant to emulate clouds. Much of the buildings ductwork and structure were left exposed so children could see how the building they occupy stands up. Convex curves shape the garden in the back, where offices, the staff kitchen, and restrooms are sited. Faculty at LLS take environmental justice and antiracism seriously. The issues have become even more pronounced since COVID-19, now that young children grow up with screens in their hands. Setbon, ONeill, and McVoy paid close attention to sensory materials to help children connect with the real world and look inward at such a formative stage in their lives.Floorplan (Courtesy ONeill McVoy)The LLS was a beautiful commission for an architect, McVoy said. Pascale asked us to create a new kind of school that embodies [its] philosophy and helps enable its goals. There are lots of ideas about what a school should be and about what education should be. All of this is very dependent on the environment. Pascale recognizes the importance of architecture and the environment in education and pedagogy.
