News Metal Eden Demo is Out Now, Includes First Two Missions Available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, the demo provides a significant taste of Reikon Games' sci-fi first-person shooter. Posted By Ravi Sinha | On 09th, Apr. 2025 Reikon Games of Ruiner fame is preparing its next title, Metal Eden, for launch in May. However, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC players can try out a free demo in the meantime. It’s available now (and will remain so, even after the game’s launch) and offers the first two missions. Check out the release trailer below, which showcases the shooter’s intense combat and enemies. Set in the futuristic MOEBIUS, you control ASKA, a hyper unit that must battle the city itself to free its inhabitants. Various hostile robots stand in her way, but alongside eight different weapons, ASKA also possesses exceptional agility and can wall run, grapple and dash.  Why has MOEBIUS gone off the rails, and what does it have to do with the world known as VULCAN? You won’t find out in the demo, but it does offer a strong primer on the combat, gameplay flow and progression. Metal Eden releases on May 6th worldwide. GPU prices in Japan are higher than in the NA market but, considering the current situation, one retailer still managed to list an RTX 5070 edition for a lower price than the announced MSRP. Japanese Retailer Lists Palit RTX 5070 for 105,600 Yen: Slashes Roughly 3,200 Yen Off It's a rare sight to see a GPU listed for MSRP these days, particularly the RTX 50 and RX 9000 series. However, seeing a GPU priced below MSRP seems impossible, but not for this Japanese retailer who slashed straight off 3,200 Yen from the MSRP of one of the RTX 5070 editions. For context, the GeForce RTX 5070 was launched at $549 for the US market and, with added VAT, the price of the GPU goes much higher in other parts of the world. This is why, in Japan, the RTX 5070 was launched at 108,800 Yen, which roughly translates to US$753 at the current exchange rate. Keeping that in mind, the RTX 5070 should be available at $753 or higher if the designs are more premium. One Japanese retailer by the name "Computer Workshop" has listed a Gigabyte RTX 5070 Windforce SFF 12G edition at an MSRP of 108,801 Yen, but another retailer called "Dospara" managed to drop the pricing of the Palit RTX 5070 Infinity 3 at just 105,600 Yen, which translates to $733. This $20 price cut might seem little but is significant for customers who are already willing to buy the GPUs at higher prices than MSRP. This is particularly more appealing since the RTX 5070 is usually seen selling for up to 130,000 yen or US$900. In no terms, this price tag can be justified, but at $733, the Palit RTX 5070 seems like a good deal for Japanese residents. Other higher-end RTX 50 cards such as the RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080, and RTX 5090 are yet to see such price cuts. They usually don't even see official MSRP price tags, let alone below-MSRP prices. Nonetheless, the availability of the RTX 50 series has been improving steadily and with NVIDIA reportedly adopting GDDR7 memory chips from SK Hynix as well, it's likely that we will see more stable prices in the coming weeks.
