GeForce RTX 5070 Ti With SK Hynix GDDR7 Memory Overclocked To 34 Gbps; Delivers 7% Performance Uplift
A user achieved a solid 21% higher VRAM clock on the RTX 5070 Ti equipped with SK Hynix GDDR7 memory, showcasing solid gains in performance as well. Gigabyte RTX 5070 Ti Gaming OC Memory Overclocked to 2125 MHz; SK Hynix GDDR7 Performs as Good as Samsung GDDR7 Memory Recently, we reported that NVIDIA has started to utilize the GDDR7 memory modules from SK Hynix. The latest RTX 50 series Blackwell GPUs usually ship with Samsung's GDDR7 memory modules, but NVIDIA has reportedly started outsourcing the GDDR7 modules from SK Hynix to ensure better availability. We expected RTX 5070 to be the first GPU to adopt the GDDR7 memory from SK Hynix but looks like RTX 5070 Ti adopted it quickly as well. The latest instance is from a user who goes by the username "michelelee" on the Chiphell forum, who posted regularly about his RTX 5070 Ti with SK Hynix GDDR7 memory. The user tried to flash the BIOS of the AORUS Master RTX 5070 Ti on the Gigabyte RTX 5070 Ti Gaming OC in order to unlock a higher power limit. Image Credit: Chiphell.com Since the AORUS Master edition came with Samsung's GDDR7 memory modules, the new BIOS bricked the Gaming OC. Nonetheless, with the default BIOS, the Gaming OC with SK Hynix memory was clocked at 1750 MHz or 28 Gbps out of the box, which is also the standard memory clock of all the RTX 50 series GPUs (except for RTX 5080). With overclocking, the card was able to reach a good 2125 MHz or 34 Gbps of memory clock without many hassles, which is a solid 21% uplift in the memory clock. Image Credit: Chiphell.com As far as real-world performance goes, this indeed helped the RTX 5070 to achieve a noticeably higher score in Time Spy, which previously was 28,46x but with overclocking reached 30,426 points. It's a good 7% performance uplift, which should also help the card in better gaming performance. All in all, the SK Hynix GDDR7 memory should be as good as the Samsung GDDR7 and there shouldn't be any issues in performance or compatibility. At the moment, most RTX 50 series GPUs will still be available with Samsung's GDDR7 memory, but in a couple of weeks, you should see more RTX 50 GPUs with SK Hynix's GDDR7 memory. Both SK Hynix and Samsung are rivals, providing their latest GDDR and HBM memory solutions to NVIDIA. Since we have been hearing about memory shipment issues for the RTX 50 GPUs previously, it's a good step by NVIDIA to outsource GDDR7 modules from other manufacturers as well. Viscerafest Is Out Now!!!
Regardless, there are some initial things to keep in mind. First! Your save data with older builds will not be compatible with the full release. This is because the game, from top to bottom, has undergone a substantial faceliftwith virtually every system, mechanic, weapon, enemy, level, etc, etc, etc...being subject to a cacophony of change. So many changes have been made, in fact, that there is no possible way we could ever dream of cataloging it all. But to give you a very, very, very... truncated rundown of the changes... Every weapon has been rebalanced and received significant visual updates along with major mechanical changes. Every enemy has been rebalanced and received significant visual updates along with several enemies receiving new attacks. Brand new enemies have been introduced into the already existing chapters. The gore system has been reworked. The tutorialization has been reworked. The pacing of enemy and weapon reveals across the campaign has been heavily altered. There's new story dialogue. Most of the levels have been completely remade. And believe me, I could keep going...None of this even touches the brand-new chapter, the updated hub space, the now functioning shop! The now existing Lorebrary and Bestiary!!! There is so much just within the realm of what technically already existed in the early access build that has been updated and changed that the game is radically better, overall much more refined, and basically... just a brand new experience. Even if your saves were compatible, you would definitely want to replay the game from it's start because in not doing so you would be missing out on so much. But then! We get to what's actually new! 12 new enemy types! (not including the new enemies introduced in chapters 1 and 2) 3 new boss fights! (Not including... actually never mind... Pretend I said nothing :3 ) 8 new levels! 30 Gameplay Modifiers and Cheat Codes you can buy using Skullies and play around with when replaying levels! The Lorebrary, where you can read up on the game's universe! The Bestiary, where you can read up on its critters! So yeah! There's a lot that's in store for you! And we really hope you enjoy the efforts of our sleepless nights. Additionally, we do, in fact, have another brand-new feature worth noting...Narcolepsy ModeDid you find Viscerafest too hard? Even on the easiest difficulty setting with the assist options turned on? Do you have no shame? Are you so coddled that you cower in the face of moderate pretend adversity? WELL THEN HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU!!! We introduce to you... NARCOLEPSY MODE!!! An even easier easy difficulty setting with extra ammo pickups and enemies so pathetic it's almost merciful to put them out of their misery! Enjoy pretending that Viscerafest is, in fact, meant to be played like Doom and enjoy mindlessly blasting foes!!! Or, ya know... be a cool way to break your little kiddos into gaming or whatever, that too. Please NoteSo, those of you who have actually been following us relatively closely will know that lifeand circumstance have not treated us kindly. This release date of April 14th was unshiftable, Viscerafest needed to come out today. Now, Viscerafest is content complete, but there are several things we wanted to finish before release that we have been unable to. First... Let's talk about the elephant in the room... The OST John S. Weekley was going to compose the music for Viscerafest chapter 3, and a good chunk of that music is *almost* done. But last month's life circumstances saw Johnhaving to put his work on Viscerafest on hold, and as such, the OST for the game's final chapterwas not completed in time for this release. For chapter 3, none of the current music fits the tonewe were striving for, and as such, chapter 3 is pretty musicless, save for a few key moments. We will be striving to keep folks posted on what's going on with the OST, and we hope to add itin as soon as possible, but for the time being all we can do is wait until life calms down for John. The Hub Chapters 1 and 2 are still using their early access sub-hub variants, we wanted to update these before release, but we did not have the time. As such, whilst they function perfectlyfine, they are a little uglier than their respective chapters are now. We hope to rectify thisfairly quickly, and the updates to these will likely be coming in about 2 to 3 weeks.C2L7 - Arche Ascension Chapter 2's finale has received several updates, but its updates were not able to be completed in time for the "Full" release. The levels more than playable and honestlyprobably in better shape than it was in the early access phase, but understand theopening of the level is visually a little rough if you pay too close attention, and we'llbe cleaning her up and making her as pretty as the rest in the weeks to come.Chapter 3 - Static Story Moments There are a number of in-game story moments in chapter 3 that are... well... a little less visually interesting than we wanted them to be. There's some spice to those momentswe did not have the time to add, and this is yet another thing we will be looking to fixup in the coming weeks. The Ambient Audio Bug There is an infuriating issue we were not able to address prior to release where sometimes when you hit a transitional point for a levels ambient audiothe ambient audio just... does not play. Again, we'll be working to fix this asap.Enemies Having a Seizure Another issue that cropped up like... 2-3 weeks ago? Enemies now hate slopes and weighted surfaces now for some reason, and traversing them causes the enemiesto vibrate with intense rage. Functionally, this doesn't have much impact gameplay, but it looks dumb and I hate it. In addition sometimes enemies might... just... kind of...wobble in place, jittering their walking animations, again.... both of these issues arethings we will be aiming to address as soon as possible.Flying enemy pathfinding There are a couple of doorways in the game where flying enemies just make... bafflingly daft navigational decisions. Yeah... we'll be working on that. Some U.I. Jank We wanted to give some of the menu's a bit more love before release but... yeah... you know the drill. A couple of the U.I. elements are a bit ugly, which... I mean... wasalso the case in early access but we wanted to fix that before the game came out.Needless to say, we will be fixing now that the game is out.And Probably MoreThere are no doubt many more issues I have not cataloged above, and if you come acrossplease report them in the Steam forums, or... far more preferably, our discord server, which you can join here.Link: Discord.ggI will likely be making another post within the next few days, updating everyone on the situation, and walk out our post-launch goals in a bit more detail, but for now! Thank you so much foryour support; we really hope you enjoy our game! And as always...May the Lord bless you, keep you, and make his face to shine upon you.God Bless you, and have a wonderful day! From,Noah Dickinson

Bag More Treasure When You Learn How To Lockpick In Oblivion Remastered
ByBrandon MorganPublished3 hours agoWe may earn a commission from links on this page.Screenshot: Bethesda / Brandon Morgan / KotakuLockpicking is one of the very first skills you’ll need to learn and master early on in Oblivion Remastered. You’ll first encounter locked chests in the underground caverns beneath the prison, and then in nearly every dungeon thereafter. It’s a core component of the game. It’s also one of the most cumbersome to some players. But mastering the mini-game and leveling up essential skills will quickly turn your fortunes around. Eventually you’ll be putting the Gray Fox himself to shame.Suggested ReadingThis Stylish Noir-Punk Side-Scroller Is Like Celeste With Guns Share SubtitlesOffEnglishview videoSuggested ReadingThis Stylish Noir-Punk Side-Scroller Is Like Celeste With Guns Share SubtitlesOffEnglishScreenshot: Bethesda / Brandon Morgan / KotakuIf you think you’ll spend a lot of time lockpicking as a stealthy character, like one of the many members of the Thieves’ Guild, then you’ll want to increase your Security.Like all other skills in the game, there are five levels to Security:Novice (0): Up to four tumblers will fall when you fail and break a lockpick.Apprentice (25): Up to three tumblers will fall when you fail and break a lockpick.Journeyman (50): Up to two tumblers will fall when you fail and break a lockpick.Expert (75): Only one tumbler will fall when you fail and break a lockpick.Master (100): No tumblers will fall when you fail and break a lockpick. You can level the skill by attempting lockpicks and speaking with the occasional thief or beggar to train your abilities higher in exchange for gold.Screenshot: Bethesda / Brandon Morgan / KotakuBefore you attempt to break into a treasure chest filled with junk that you’ll likely toss aside to satisfy your weight limit, you must have lockpicks in your inventory. You can find them all over, in any sack, box, or open chest in the game. You can also buy them at merchants, too, if you’d rather spend a little gold on the local economy. With a lockpick at the ready, attempt to open the chest in question to begin the lockpicking minigame. It’s the usual tumbler and lockpick setup, as is common in most video game lock picking minigames, at first glance.Your goal is to push each tumbler up with the pick until it reaches the very top of the lock mechanism. Once the tumbler connects with the top, click your interact button to set the tumbler in place. If you’re successful, it will lock open and turn grey, allowing you to move on to the next tumbler in the sequence. Repeat the process.Depending on how hard the lock is, the number of tumblers necessary to unlock the box ranges from one to five. You must work through each one in turn, unlocking and opening them in sequence, and if you fail, you’ll reset the lock.Oblivion Remastered is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Windows PCs, and Game Pass.

Break into real-time 3D industries with Unity’s Elevate program
There’s never been a better time to pursue a career in real-time 3D (RT3D). Across industries as diverse as gaming, architecture, automotive, medicine, aerospace, and film, new and lucrative career opportunities are emerging for the next generation of real-time developers, programmers, and artists. However, despite the RT3D boom, preparing for these new roles and navigating a hiring environment that’s rapidly shifting can be challenging for everyone involved. How are job seekers to know which skills they’ll need for which positions, and how best to get themselves up to speed? How should educators adapt their teaching so it stays relevant? And, how can employers more easily identify and onboard the very best candidates for increasingly specific roles?Unity’s latest initiative, Elevate, is here to address these challenges by transforming the way job seekers, educators, and employers interact within the dynamic RT3D landscape. Elevate’s mission is to equip job seekers with the knowledge they need to prepare for and secure opportunities in RT3D sectors, while also providing educators and employers with resources to streamline the talent cultivation and hiring cycle.Introducing Universal Job ProfilesAt the core of the Elevate initiative are Universal Job Profiles (UJPs) – meticulously crafted guidebooks designed to eliminate the guesswork and inconsistencies plaguing RT3D job definitions. UJPs are industry-vetted, detailed overviews of specified roles within RT3D industries. UJPs serve as comprehensive manuals detailing vital job elements such as role responsibilities, how positions fit within a studio structure, core skill requirements, commonly used tools, application prerequisites, interview processes, and learning resources. In essence, UJPs outline clear and structured career pathways tailored specifically to various roles within RT3D industries. The Employer Advisory BoardThe creation and refinement of UJPs is overseen by Elevate’s Employer Advisory Board (EAB), a diverse collective of experts representing industry-leading companies from all parts of the real-time landscape. How To Get Stars And Constellations In Blue Prince
Are you curious about stars and constellations in Blue Prince? These resources and boons are a must if you want to succeed in each run. Our guide discusses various facets, including those related to the Observatory, the Planetarium, and even a little tidbit about the Spiral of Stars. In any case, please be reminded that this article contains minor spoilers. The stars and constellations in Blue Prince - Observatory and Planetarium guideGenerally speaking, stars are a type of resource that you earn over the course of your playthrough. Different constellations, meanwhile, take effect depending on the number of stars that you have whenever you interact with the large telescope in the Observatory. We've opted to organize this guide as follows: We talk about how you can amass stars quickly, and the constellations that you can unlock as you play. We then briefly discuss the Spiral of Stars, a late-game mystery, as well as the bonuses from the Planetarium. How to earn stars quicklyThere are several ways to get stars in the game. Each visit to the Observatory adds +1 star, as does ending the day in the Planetarium, which nets you +2 stars. Certain items even grant a bonus, such as the Morning Star from the Armory. However, if you really want to get a lot of stars in Blue Prince, you need to make use of experiments in the Laboratory. This process involves collecting all Microchips so you can place them in the Sundial. This lets you download a data packet that contains new Laboratory experiment causes/triggers and effects. Naturally, you want to pick the effect that grants +1 star.As for the causes/triggers, there are two options that are viable in many situations:"Every time dig up trash" - This is good if you have a Shovel, and even better if you drafted the Root Cellar as an outer room."Every time you unlock or bypass security doors" - This is great if you have a Keycard or if you've disabled the metal doors via the Utility Closet. You may also change the Security setting to "high" to increase the number of metal doors in the manor.Lastly, there's a third option that's quite amazing that it's almost like an exploit in and of itself. For this one, you need to get the Nursery: Nurse's Station upgrade via an Upgrade Disk. If you enter the room when you have 10 steps or fewer steps, the Nurse's Station sets your number of steps back to 20.Next, you need to combine this with the "whenever you open your map, lose 10 steps" cause/trigger. Basically, you just keep opening your map and reentering the Nurse's Station to regain your steps. If you play it right, you can amass a ridiculous number of stars indefinitely. How to activate constellationsThe information about constellations in Blue Prince comes from a Library book called The Fixed Stars. Likewise, there's a document called the Star Schedule that's found in the Planetarium. Essentially, these documents tell you about the effects of each constellation, as well as the number of stars that are required to activate them.Going back to what we said earlier: You activate constellation/s depending on your current number of stars when you interact with the large telescope in the Observatory. If you have a lot of stars, then it's possible to activate two or more constellations as part of a combo.North Star: +1 gold; activates at 1 star onward. The Twins: Adds two trunks at the Entrance Hall; activates at 2, 6, and 25 stars onward. The Slice: +3 steps; activates at 3, 10, 14, 18, 21, 25 stars onward.Diamondus Minor: +1 gem; activates at 4, 6, 9, 14, 24, and 29 stars onward. The Southern Cross: Rooms with four doors are more common today; activates at 5, 9, 13, 16, 25 stars onward.Farmer's Apple: Apples restore more steps today; activates at 7, 10, 14, 21, and 25 stars onward.Clavis the Key: +1 key; activates at 8, 13, 17, 22, and 25 stars onward.Diamondus Major: +5 gems; activates at 11, 16, 19, 21, and 29 stars onward.Draxus the Dead: Dead end rooms are more common today; activates at 12 and 22 stars onward. The Sail: Everything is 50% off today; activates at 15, 18, and 23 stars onward.Florealis Bloom of the Sky: Green rooms are more likely to contain special flowers (i.e. those with gems) today; activates at 20 and 24 stars onward.Note 1: At 40 stars, it's possible for seven different constellations to get activated as well.Note 2: Some constellations are required for certain puzzles or tasks. These include the Drafting Strategy Sweepstakes (Draxus the Dead) and the Castle Cipher (Southern Cross).Note 3: If you have the Telescope, you can also use it on the Observatory. This nets you double the effect/results from all current constellations. The Inkwell constellation: It's reroll time!Once you reach 50 stars, you activate the Inkwell constellation in Blue Prince. This is actually one of the more special boons since it grants you a redraw/reroll mechanic: You can spend stars to redraw rooms instead of Ivory Dice. Here's the kicker: You have to reach 50 or more stars again if you want to make use of this mechanic. As such, we actually recommend gathering enough stars until you're well past this amount--i.e. 75 to 99 stars. This way, you can still make use of a few rerolls every now and then during your runs. The Spiral of Stars constellation: The great mysteryAt 100 stars, you unlock the Blue Prince Spiral of Stars constellation. This is one of the biggest mysteries in the game.Upon checking the large telescope in the Observatory at 100 stars, the Spiral of Stars will begin with a short phrase ending with "then."At every subsequent visit thereafter, you add a new word. These additional words/phrases also have effects, including bonus resources or losing steps. The more words are added, the more debilitating the effects become. This culminates once you've completed the whole statement, which warns you that your day will end if you attempt to add another word. The reason why this facet remains a mystery is because the spiral shape is part of several late-game hints. As of the time of this writing, no one has figured out what the Spiral of Stars actually means or if it's part of an overarching puzzle. The Planetarium: More boons if you have a TelescopeLast but not least, let's talk about the Planetarium in Blue Prince. It's not actually available by default as it's a Found Floorplan. To unlock it, you must rotate the Observatory telescope until it's leveled at the upper section of the room (i.e. the one with the wheel). This allows you to open a compartment that contains the Floorplan. While the Planetarium might be a rare drafting option, we encourage you to visit it if you have a Telescope item. That's because the Telescope lets you view the display of the planets on the ceiling. Each time you do this, a bonus resource or item will be added to the Planetarium itself. These include an apple, a locked trunk/chest, an Ivory Dice, a dirt pile, and a Prism Key. These rewards make the Planetarium more enticing to draft in future runs. That does it for our Blue Prince constellations and stars guide. Now that you're ready to collect a bunch of these celestial resources, you might want to boost your gold allowance as well.A surreal adventure filled with wonders and mysteries awaits you in Blue Prince. If ever you feel stuck or lost at any point in time in your playthrough, don't forget to check our Blue Prince guides hub.
