  • Titanfall: Believe
    www.youtube.com
Welp, this started out as a simple idea. I've been wanting to make a "live action" Titanfall video, but felt like I needed more practice first before I could do a good enough job. So I decided to make a "bullet time" style video with the models first. After brainstorming some ideas, I eventually remembered the old "Halo: Believe" ad, which I really liked, and so I decided to try to make something as an homage to that.I learned some new things while working on this project, including rigging characters and creating terrains. I'd like to make some simple videos demonstrating some of that stuff, so if you have any questions about how I did something, let me know and I'll do my best to explain it clearly.Special thanks to:Pierrick Piccaut: https://twitter.com/pierrick_picautHussien Shalaan: https://www.artstation.com/hussiensobhyLlamasArePink: https://twitter.com/LlamasArePinkMaurizio Memoli: https://twitter.com/Maurizio_Memolifor sharing their expert advice and skills. • Real Life GTA: Newb's First Day
    www.youtube.com
Hello! This is the introduction of a new character I created for my videos. I haven't settled on a real name for him yet, so for now, I just call him "Classy".Quick Overview: I rendered the CG elements in Cycles in Blender and composited everything in After Effects. The footage was shot on Canon Rebels. Will Tejeda created the GTA phone app seen in the video, it made it much easier than having to create another VFX shot!I hope you enjoy the video, and as always, feel free to leave any suggestions for how you think I can improve. And if you have any questions, I'll be sure to answer them as best I can!Garage model created by Papa_Dragon: https://www.blendswap.com/blend/11691
