• Why Two Point Museum Takes the Management Sim in a Whole New Direction Play Today
    news.xbox.com
For years, the Two Point series has taken players on delightfully eccentric journeys through the world of management sims. Weve built busy hospitals, shaped the future of academia, and now, were setting our sights on a whole new challenge, and something rarely seen in the genre: museums! Two Point Museum launches for Xbox Series X|S on March 4, but you can play from today by purchasing the digital Explorer Edition. Find out why we made the switch to a brand new kind of management sim and, if you want to jump in right now, stick around for some handy tips on what we think is the best game in the series so far.Evolving the Two Point Formula with New FeaturesOne of the biggest challenges and thrills of creating Two Point Museum was adapting our beloved Two Point formula to an entirely new setting. Unlike hospitals or universities, where the core gameplay revolves around treating patients or educating students, museums are all about curation. You will build and expand your own institutions, filling them with exhibits that range from ancient relics to futuristic wonders, and even a few lets say, unexpected surprises, like guest-eating plants.Weve also introduced some exciting new layers of strategy to Two Point Museum, with the Expedition feature offering a whole new sense of adventure. As curator, you will be tasked with sending a team of (partially) trained experts on Expeditions to discover unique exhibits. You can find over 200 rare exhibits across multiple map locations across your home of Two Point County. Will they return with priceless fossils, cosmic relics, or a rapidly melting ice sculpture containing a caveman who may or may not make a run for it?In Two Point Museum you will explore five distinct museum locations, each with their own unique progression path, exotic relics and creatures to find. Discover unusual dinosaur bones in your Prehistory Museum, keep restless ghosts entertained in the Supernatural Museum, or journey to the far reaches of the Two Point universe to encounter aliens in your Space Museum. Venture beneath the waves to access aquatic marvels in the Marine Life Museum or unearth an abandoned lab and do science-ey stuff in your Science Museum. Oh, and dont forget to look after that carnivorous plant in your Botany Museum! There is so much to explore and discover in Two Point County, meaning you will always have plenty to be getting on with.Guests Know BestIn Two Point Museum, guests really do know best. You will encounter 18 different visitor types, from science enthusiasts and goths, to meddling kids who love touching things they shouldnt. You will need to think carefully about how you place your exhibits, which will affect the overall mood of your guests everyone likes different stuff, you know! Sometimes that means providing an alien Cheese-Moonger with a specific cheese-related dish at the cafeteria, while at other times its finding a way to transform a goth into a vampire. Unravel evolving mysteries and unlock new tools in a bid to create your own museum empire and offer the ultimate guest experience.Running a museum isnt all serious business theres plenty of room for creativity. Want to mix prehistoric fossils with alien artifacts? Go for it! Just dont be surprised if the results are unusual. Two Point Museum gives you more creative freedom than ever before, letting you customise everything from floor tiles and wall coverings to staff uniforms and exhibit names.Tips for Future CuratorsTo help players make the most of their museum experience, here are a few handy tips from us:Plan your layout wisely: Use interior walls to create themed sections and guide guests along optimal routes. Nobody wants to find the cafeteria next to a cursed sarcophagus.Keep the guests happy: Visitors expect beautifully decorated exhibition spaces, cleanliness, snacks, a giftshop and plenty of restrooms. You can attract specific guest types via marketing campaigns, check in on their experience and cater to their whims to maximise success, happiness and of course.revenue!Train your staff: Experts can gain new skills over time investing in training can mean the difference between a well-run museum and total exhibit catastrophe.Security challenges: Heists arent just for movies! Thieves will try to make off with your precious artifacts, so keep those security guards on high alert. Security chairs and cameras can be used in tandem to ensure boots on the ground, eyes in the sky, and, er, backsides on seats. What Players Can ExpectTwo Point Museum takes everything fans love about our previous games deep yet accessible management mechanics, charming humour, and a world filled with personality and applies it to a brand new setting full of possibilities. Whether youre designing the next great historical exhibition or uncovering long-lost artifacts, youll be shaping a museum thats uniquely yours. So, are you ready to become a world-class curator? This is all while you keep your Exhibits safe, rooms clean, staff happy and children off the dinosaur bones. EXPLORING FOR EXHIBITSAs Curator, the design and management of your expanding museum is in your hands! Send your team of partially trained Experts on Expeditions in search of rare and mostly well-preserved artefacts. When (and hopefully not if) your Experts return from their adventure, proudly display their fantastic finds in your museum.Youll unlock new locations as you decide where the next adventure takes you, and complete a sticker book to document your journey as a souvenir of your discoveries.Your work doesnt end there; Exhibit maintenance is crucial. While some Experts are gallivanting across Two Point County and beyond, youre in charge of managing staff back home to ensure Exhibits and the museum stay in tip-top condition. If taking care of the carnivorous Chomper isnt enough, there are also meddling thieves to watch out for. Thieves, and more frequently, children, are known for touching and grubbing up the displays, so make sure enough security is guarding your prized collection! DESIGN-OSAURSGet creative to design your museum layout your way! You have decorative freedom, so design thematic areas to guide your guests visit. Splash paint and lay carpet as you lovingly arrange each prehistoric fern, potentially melting iceman, and dinosaur remains wherever you see fit.Once youve created the perfect atmosphere, arrange guided tours with custom routes led by a charismatic Expert. Tours are a fantastic way to enrich your guests' experience. To keep guests enthused, showcase Exhibits with the highest Buzz those that are top quality, provide ample info and beautiful decorations are likely to attract the most donations!GUEST-ERTAINMENTGuests know best! The different types of guests who will frequent your museum may have different interests, but they do have some things in common they expect the place to be kept clean, have plenty of refreshments, ample toilets, and a gift shop filled with goodies. And, of course, they need to be dazzled with knowledge of your Exhibits, which are kept well-maintained or else you could make them sick. Two Point County will bring a variety of guests to your museum, and they all hope to discover their new favourite Exhibit From dino fanatics and botany buffs to haunted horror seekers, youll need to cater to their personal preferences to meet their needs. By exceeding their expectations, you can keep them engaged, leading to longer visits, increased donations, and glowing reviews!

  • The Woman Behind Farrow & Balls Most Iconic Colors Has a New Favorite for 2025

We may earn commission on some of the items you choose to buy.Known for its 132 carefully curated paint colors, Farrow & Ball does not take adding new shades lightly. Its collections, or palettes, as color curator Joa Studholme prefers to call them, arent influenced by trend cycles and consumer data; they come about only when she and her team have a gut feeling its time for something new. Well, now is the time: The British company is introducing its first new palette in two years. The 12 colors in itnine new, three archivalare inspired by childhood nostalgia and a connection with the earth. Were starting to take baby steps out of the gray mania, says Studholme, who was inspired by finding joy in familiar things. This palette pulls from the indulgence of everyday colors that were surrounded by all the time but dont necessarily notice. Her own home, shown above, features Duster on the backsplash, Marmelo on the cupboards, and Reduced Green on the lower cabinets.Shop the New Shades Farrow & Ball has never brought colors back from its archives before. Etruscan Red, Broccoli Brown, and Sap Green are being reintroduced as part of this grounded palette since theyre perfect complements to new colors. After trying to develop a deep terra cottaan iteration of Etruscan Red, Studholme admitsto pair with the new lighter clay color Naperon, she realized the ideal match was already right in front of her. When you perfected it the first time, why would you try and duplicate it? she says. Boz GagovskiDibber is featured on Studholmes radiator. The colors you see all the time are hidden heroes, and we should indulge in those items that are kind of old, slightly nostalgic, or part of our fondest memories, Studholme says. One such hue is Dibber, a deep muddy green that can read almost like khaki in the right lighting. Its named for the gardening tool used to create holes in the soil. As Studholme says, you cant get much more grounded than that. Boz GagovskiSap Green covers the hallway walls, while the upper third of the powder room features Scallop.Boz GagovskiThis room is painted in Naperon.Other new colors fill gaps in the existing palette, something Studholme listens out for in customer feedback. We have a shade called Light Blue, and so many people said that they loved it but it leaned too silvery. That kind of comment sticks in my head, she says. Cue Kekelugn, Studholmes solution, a cleaner version with less gray undertones. Two other new standouts Studholme points to are Duster, named for the yellow dusting cloths she remembers from childhood, and Reduced Green, a self-aware subdued teal. The palette is full of treasures that are right under our nose, but I think these colors will enhance our homes as well, she says.Follow House Beautiful on Instagram and TikTok.

  • Apple reveals new child safety features and its approach to age assurance
    9to5mac.com
In a new whitepaper published today, Apple outlined several tools it already offers to parents and developers to help enhance child safety while safeguarding privacy. This includes Screen Time, Find My, Communication Saftey, Communication Limits, and more.Over this year, Apple is introducing new features to build on its commitment to user privacy, security, and safety for children: Make it even easier for parents to set up Child Accounts that underlie many of our parental controls. Put parents in controlby allowing them toshare information about the age range of their kids with appsto enable developers to provide only age-appropriate content, all without needing to share their birthdate or other sensitive information. And further enhance parents insight and control over their kids experiences byupdating our age ratings, adding more useful information on product pages, and making browsing safer on the App Store.Child AccountsFirst, Apple is building on its Child Accounts feature with several key improvements. First, the company is streamlining the process of creating those Child Accounts in the first place. In iOS 18.4, which is currently available in beta, Apple has added a new Age Range step to the setup process of a new iPhone or iPad. On this screen, users will select the age range of the person who will use the device. Apple will then use the information to set up parental controls and safety features. Child: 12 or youngerTeen: 13 to 17Adult: 18 or olderIf parents prefer to wait until later to finish setting up a Child Account, Apple says that child-appropriate default settings will still be enabled on the device. This way, a child can immediately begin to use their iPhone or iPad safely, and parents can be assured that child safety features will be active in the meantime, Apple explains. This means even more kids will end up using devices configured to maximize child safety with parental controls. Starting later this year, Apple says that parents will be able to easily correct the age that is associated with their kids account if they previously did not set it up correctly.Once they do, parents of kids under 13 will be prompted to connect their kids account to their family group (if theyre not already connected), the account will be converted to a Child Account, and parents will be able to utilize Apples parental control optionswith Apples default age-appropriate settings applied as a backstop. Later this year, Apple will also add a new way for parents to provide developers with information about the age range of their kids. Developers will be able to tap into a new Declared Range API to request information about the age range associated with a Child Account. This is where things get interesting. One argument made by companies such as Meta and Tinder is that app marketplace developers, like Apple, should be the ones required to verify a users age commonly referred to as age assurance. Just this week, a report in The Wall Street JournalAccording to Apple, however, that responsibility should largely fall to the developers. Apple says the right place to address age verification and prioritize data minimization is on a per-app level, not on the marketplace level. The company likens this to how alcohol sales in a mall require ID verification at the store level rather than asking every mall visitor for their date of birth. At Apple, we believe in data minimizationcollecting and using only the minimum amount of data required to deliver what you need. This is especially important for the issue of age assurance, which covers a variety of methods that establish a users age with some level of confidence. Some apps may find it appropriate or even legally required to use age verification, which confirms user age with a high level of certaintyoften through collecting a users sensitive personal information (like a government-issued ID)to keep kids away from inappropriate content. But most apps dont. Thats why the right place to address the dangers of age-restricted content online is the limited set of websites and apps that host that kind of content. After all, we ask merchants who sell alcohol in a mall to verify a buyers age by checking IDswe dont ask everyone to turn their date of birth over to the mall if they just want to go to the food court.Apple believes requiring age verification at the app marketplace level isnt data minimization. For example, Apple would have to collect sensitive personal information from all users, even if they dont access age-restricted apps. With the Declared Range API, developers will be able to prompt the parent to share the age range associated with their Child Accounts. This gives developers an additional resource to provide age-appropriate content for their users. Parents will have full control over sharing that age range information, and the feature wont provide kids actual birthdates. For apps that need additional information to verify a users age, the burden will be on those individual developers: This protects privacy by keeping parents in control of their kids sensitive personal information while minimizing the amount of information shared with third parties. The limited subset of developers who actually need to collect a government-issued ID or other additional sensitive personal information from users to meet their age-verification obligations can still do so. All in all, it gives developers a helpful addition to the set of resources they can choose fromincluding other third-party toolsto fulfill their responsibility to deliver age-appropriate experiences in their apps.Updated global age rangesCurrently, Apples age ratings system has four thresholds. Later this year, Apple will expand its age rating thresholds with more granularity: 4+ years old9+ years old13+ years old16+ years old18+ years oldThese age ratings are integrated into things like the App Store, Screen Time, Ask to Buy, and more. More tidbitsApple has a few more tidbits to share: Currently, to help users make informed choices about which apps to download, we ask developers to provide key information on their App Store product pagesincluding details about in-app purchases and privacy practices through our Privacy Nutrition Labels. To further enhance transparency, we will highlight whether apps contain user-generated content or advertising capabilities that could introduce age-inappropriate material. Developers will also have the option to indicate if their app includes content controls, such as parental controls or age verification, that help restrict access to content exceeding its age rating. We also want to give parents greater control over their kids online experiences on the App Store. Today, Apples Content Restrictions in Screen Time already prevent kids from downloading apps that exceed the age ratings set by their parents. But were taking it a step furtherlater this year, when kids browse the App Store, they wont see apps with age ratings higher than their parents settings in the places where we feature apps, such as the Today, Games, and Apps tabs, as well as in our editorial stories and collections.Full whitepaper Apple has shared a new whitepaper detailing all of these announcements. • Sounds Like Elon Musk Is About to Get Eviscerated by Jon Stewart
    futurism.com
Elon Musk is apparently headed to "The Daily Show" where his interview with Jon Stewart will air unedited.News of this all-star showdown comes fresh on the heels of Stewart's return to the small screen, which saw the satirical host delivering an anti-Musk tirade so fiery that he smashed a mug and injured his hand in the process. That incredible moment during Stewart's Monday night show came as he took the billionaire not-head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to task for sacking roughly 30,000 federal workers in the name of saving money."How about we just close down the carried interest loophole on hedge funds thats worth $1.3 billion a year?" Stewart suggested during the impassioned segment. "Oh, how about we stop the $2 trillion weve given to defense contractors to build a fighter jet that blows, when everybody knows the next war is going to be fought with drones and blockchain, whatever that is, holy sh*t!"Unsurprisingly, Musk's fanboys began calling for their dear leader's rebuttal after he was owned so thoroughly by Stewart. He replied to one such stan by promising "will do it if the show airs unedited" and it looks like he may get his wish."We'd be delighted!" the show responded from its X account, putting the ball in Musk's court and seemingly agreeing to his terms.Stewart may be a comedian, but he has a long history of coming into interviews after doing extraordinary preparation research and disemboweling blowhards like Musk. Those whose birth years don't begin with a "20" may recall that more than two decades ago, Stewart destroyed then-CNN host Tucker Carlson when appearing as a guest on "Crossfire," the conservative talking head's old political debate show. With guns blazing, the late-night legend said he refused to be the show's "monkey" when Carlson asked him why he wasn't being funny, and proceeded to call the perennially confused bowtie-wearer a "dick" right to his face. And that's without getting into Stewart's famed debate with the later-disgracedFoxNews personality Bill O'Reilly or any of his scorching exchanges on the "Daily Show" or his short-lived "The Problem With Jon Stewart," where he gained an even harsher reputation for guillotining political figures with strong opinions and few facts to back them up.If that description sounds familiar these days, Musk may want to back out like he did with the cage match he agreed to have with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. While there's not much more information about this slated interview at press time, it's clear that "The Daily Show" means business. If Musk actually does sit down to talk to Stewart, the newly-returned host is almost certainly going to show him and America who's boss.More on Stewart's battle fuel: Elon Musk Has Sucked Up $38 Billion in Aid From the Federal Government, and Now He's Slashing That Help for OthersShare This Article

  • Robot With Large Drill Headed for Surface of Moon
    futurism.com
A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched a lunar lander from NASA's Kennedy Space Center on Wednesday, kicking off the latest attempt to touch down on the Moon's surface.Houston-based startup Intuitive Machines' lander, dubbed Athena, is equipped with various scientific instruments, including a tiny "hopper" robot, three separate rovers and a drill. The drill was designed to burrow roughly three feet below the Moon's surface and drop the retrieved soil into a pile nearby. A mass spectrometer will then analyze the excavated samples for signs of frozen water, among other chemical compounds. The drill is part of NASA's Commercial Lunar Payload Services program, which is dedicated to helping the agency "explore the Moon as it prepares for human missions."As such, if Athena's drill were to detect significant amounts of water ice near the Moon's tallest mountain, Mons Mouton, which is only roughly 37 miles from the south pole, it could have considerable implications for NASA's upcoming crewed landings as part of its Artemis program.Athena will also be carrying a rover, called the Mobile Autonomous Prospecting Platform (MAPP), which will test out the first-ever cellphone network on the Moon through a partnership with Finnish telecom and consumer electronics company Nokia. The lander's much smaller "hopper" robot will feature thrusters to allow it to cover long distances. It will attempt to communicate with MAPP with the help of an antenna before exploring the shadowed regions of a nearby crater. The plan is for Athena to touch down on the Moon on March 6. But considering Intuitive Machines' first attempt last year ended in its Odysseus lander tripping on a rock and falling over during landing, the stakes are high. It's an unusually busy time, with two other robotic landers other than Athena also en route to the Moon.Firefly Aerospace's lander, dubbed Blue Ghost, is headed towards Mare Crisium, a massive basin on the Moon's near side. Earlier this week, the lander captured striking close-up views of the lunar surface. The goal is to attempt to land in the early hours of Sunday.Japanese space company ispace's Hakuto-R Mission 2 was launched on the same Falcon 9 rocket as Blue Ghost on January 15. Its Resilience lander and accompanying Tenacious micro rover will attempt to land near a basaltic plain on the far side of the Moon later this spring.Despite the flurry of activity, now that SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has gained considerable influence over NASA and the rest of the country NASA's long-planned crewed missions to the surface of the Moon could be in peril. Both Musk and president Donald Trump have voiced their desire to send humans to the surface of Mars instead, undermining the space agency's Artemis program.Where that leaves Intuitive Machines' attempt to probe the lunar surface for signs of water ice is up in the air but given the many failed Moon landings over the last several years, surviving the descent in one piece is far from a guarantee anyway.More on lunar landers: NASA Spacecraft Shoots Japanese Moon Lander With LaserShare This Article

That show would have focused on lesser-known Green Lantern heroes, and was expected to star Finn Wittrock as Guy Gardner. That Green Lantern show was first announced in 2019, and was developed all through the early 2020s. Wed love to share more about YNAB, and then well get into (many) more details about this role.YNAB started in 2004 and we havent taken any outside fundingwere established, profitable, and in this for the long haul. Heres how we operate:Live Where You WantWeve always been a fully remote team, and have people all over the world. For this particular position, however, were looking for someone within +/- two hours of Central Time, due to the high amount of synchronous coordination needed with the rest of the team. Anywhere within those time zones is okay, though. Just make sure you have a reliable internet connection.Work Four Days a WeekWeve adopted a four-day work week (still 100% paid!) and rarely work more than that. There are occasions and seasons where things get busy and people put some extra time inbut then we encourage them to take some extra time off, too. We work hard and smart and care deeply about what we do, but we also love our families and about 2,000 other things. We have perspective and, ultimately, we think it makes usand our workeven better.Flex Your Work ScheduleWere fully remote, so a lot of our work is done asynchronously, but we love working together in real time when it makes sense. We try to schedule most meetings between 123 pm Eastern time MondayThursday. Outside of your meetings, we trust you to set your own schedule by balancing your teams needs with your own needs. You dont need to ask for permission to take off early one afternoon to see the doctor, or be active on Slack if youre working deeply on a project. We look at what you accomplishnot when or how long you're in front of a computer.Take Vacation (Seriously)We want you to take vacation. In fact, we have a minimum vacation policy of three weeks per year. Five weeks feels about right (plus two extra weeks for our company-wide December Break). Its important to get plenty of downtime and to get out and do something. Well look forward to seeing pictures of your adventures in our #office-wall Slack channel!Meet the Team IRLSome of our best work (and bonding!) is done in person. Youll generally have the opportunity to meet with your YNAB teammates at least once a year, at a small-team work-focused meetup or at our company retreat. At the YNAB retreat, we love to catch up on spreadsheets and powerpoints in a Best Western conference room. Just kidding. (Its actually hard to write that sentence, even knowing its a joke.) So far, weve gone to Costa Rica, a gigantic cabin in the mountains, a beach house in the Outer Banks, a ranch in Montana, Laguna Beach, Palm Springs, and most recently, Cape Cod. We work together, play together, and reinforce the bonds weve made as a team and company. Every time we meet up, we leave refreshed, motivated, and excited for the year ahead together.Up Your GameWere serious about helping you improve your craft. Its one of our favorite spending categories, and its the most important work of our managers. Think conferences, coaches, online courses and subscriptions, dedicated time away from work to learn something new It's really up to you and your manager. We love to see our people grow!Other BenefitsOur team is spread all over the worldmostly in the United States, but also in the UK, Canada, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, and several other countries. We also have a Traditional and Roth 401(k) option, where YNAB matches your contributions up to six percent, and matches vest immediately. (Are you a personal finance junkie like our founder Jesse? He set up YNABs 401k to have the lowest fee structure possible, where all plan costs are paid by YNAB, not your retirement nest egg. The investment funds available are fantastic, passively-managed, ultra low-cost index funds. Youre not a PF junkie? Trust us, its awesome.)Competitive CompensationAt YNAB, were committed to equitable, market-driven, data-based compensation and we aim to offer a competitive benefits package to our team members. The starting salary for this role will be between $72,000 - $87,000 USD annually (with the top of that range reserved only for the most experienced candidates). If we decide to make you an offer, well determine the most appropriate number based on what we know about your experience and competency for the role, and then well make you our best offer and hope that you accept! If you join our team, youll also be eligible for a raise once a year and for our profit-share twice a year. (YNAB wins, you winthat kind of thing.)A Few Final TidbitsOnce you start, we DEMAND (in a friendly, ALL CAPS IS YELLING way) that you fill out your Bucket List spreadsheet with 50 items. (Thats harder than it sounds!)We love to celebrate with you when you complete something on your bucket listAND, we love using your bucket list as inspiration for your best birthday present(s) ever.We want you firing on all cylinders, so well set you up with a shiny new computer and replace it every three years. Did we mention that YNAB makes a huge, positive difference in peoples lives? You may not think that matters much, but then a few months down the road, youll realize its made your job really, really enjoyable. Dont underestimate this one!If this sounds like your ideal environment, read on because now we want to talk about you. You will play a big, big part in helping the YNAB brand come to life and reach wider audiences. Well only say that six more times. Now back to you, our new Designer....Youre the designer were looking for if youre creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of design principles, visual storytelling, and audience engagement strategies, plus excellent communication and time management skills in a remote environment. (Thats it, huh? Honestly, we bet youre all that and a bag of chips.)Your main responsibilities will be to design engaging visual communications, support our brand identity, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that your designs effectively support our company goals. On a day to day basis, youll:Design a diverse range of visual communicationsprimarily digital, but sometimes analogsuch as: email templates, landing pages, print collateral, lead-generating content, app store screens, event design (like for FanFest or our company retreats), and more. You pride yourself on delivering high-quality, polished assets on time and within budget. In all of that, youll have plenty of opportunity to be creative, but you also love the very smallest parts of the jobits in your pixel-perfect attention to detail that you hone your craft.Excel in an iterative design process. Youll rapidly test, refine, and optimize your designs to maximize engagement and effectiveness, based on performance data, industry trends, and feedback from internal teams and/or our target audience. Youre not primarily responsible for analyzing or reporting on the performance of visual communications, but you should be well-versed in communicating with those who do.Uphold our visual brand identity in customer-facing assets, product designs, and internal materials. To do so, youll rely on consistent design elements and our established style guidelines.Speaking of our style guidelines, youll also develop and maintain templates, graphic elements, and other resources to ensure design consistency across all non-product, customer-facing, and internal materials. This may include creating new illustrations by following our guidelines (again: you dont need to be a formal illustrator!), and collaborating with Dylan, our Director of Design, in updating style guides when we need to refine our visual brand identity.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that materials are well designed, on-brand, and effectively communicate the desired message. For example, youll participate in product launches and integrated marketing campaigns; work closely with writers to ensure your designs evoke the appropriate emotion; and brainstorm with marketers to create and optimize platform-specific ads and content. In all your projects, communication is key!Speaking of communication, we strive to keep an open dialogue between all our designers (including your team and our product designers). Youll help us share ideas and decisions, keep assets visually consistent across teams, and ensure the coherence of a YNABers end-to-end experience.Offer design support to the entire company, including the production of internal assets, branded items, and professional opinions on miscellaneous design decisions. This wont take precedence over your other responsibilities, but we do love to help each other around here! And finally, youll advocate for company-wide visual excellence by sharing design best practices and insights, and educating and supporting teammates in the proper use of our visual brand identity and style guidelines.Thats eight (long) bullet points, but lets still say that your success as a designer at YNAB will depend on you approaching design as holistic problem-solving for both creative and business goals. Youll work collaboratively and listen to ideas, questions, and critiques from teammates with grace and patience. At the same time, you know your stuff and can eloquently and logically explain your design decisions. This type of exchange is critical to both our success and yourssharing ideas and being open to the brilliance of others is how we arrive at the best solutions, together.
