Saber from Type-Moon's Fate/Stay Night in 3D Sarah Paiva talks about how she approached her BJD doll-inspired project, shares how she used simple shapes to sculpt the character, and explains how she treated gold elements in her artwork to achieve realistic texturing. "For the skin, I added some warmer, reddish tones and a subtle grainy texture. For the clothes, I darkened some of the folds and areas where light would have more difficulty reaching. The part I paid the most attention to was the golden material. Instead of simply using a material that simulated gold, I wanted to create a painted effect that would communicate the look of gold."
