Ryosuke Hana, an experienced Artist, Developer, and Senior Design Technologist at the PlayStation team, has recently showcased a breathtaking digital prop that will most certainly send you on a nostalgic trip down memory lane if you've been a PS fan since the console's early days.
Paying tribute to the first PlayStation console and reminiscing about its "funky lookin' menu" for managing saved games, the artist has made a detailed recreation of PS1's transparent memory card, complete with intricate writings and a stunning translucent plastic material. According to the designer, the asset was made using Blender, a free and open-source 3D software for modeling, texturing, rendering, animation, and VFX.
