It aimed to make the game more challenging, but instead, resulted in the game feeling too slow and frustrating."Reducing Skill Damage, adding cooldowns/delays, and removing components of Skills has really watered this game down... And the delays and cooldowns that were added needs to get removed." Reddit user FreshmeatOW wrote, which was agreed by nearly 8,000 players. The nerfs introduced with this update, which made the combats "soulless," have upset them so much, to the extent that they'd remove the vacation and go to work."The thing I don't get, two years ago or so they talked about cooldowns beeing bad for arpg's. Now we got them in poe2." The desperation is everywhere in the comment section from players who used to be supportive and looking forward to its full release. "Its like they forgot what actually makes a game fun. "Besides the gameplay changes, some players have reported performance issues such as framerate drops, lags, and crashes, leading to the game being review-bombed on Steam and its rating has now dropped to Mixed. These concerns spread over to developer Grinding Gear Games, who released a community post titled "What We're Working On," admitting that this attempt to "mostly hit the top of the endgame" had "an unintended effect on campaign play as well," and saying that they've started making changes. However, their response didn't seem to win the players' hearts back, as their explanation made some feel like "reading a Blizzard post on fixing Diablo 4," as GuyInUniverse wrote on Reddit.0 Kommentare 0 Anteile 163 Ansichten

MEDIUM.COMHow Agentic AI Is Shaping the Future of CybersecurityHow Agentic AI Is Shaping the Future of CybersecurityIn today’s digital landscape, cybersecurity isn’t just about firewalls and passwords anymore. With the rise of Agentic AI, we're stepping into an era where defense systems can think, learn, and act on their own. What is Agentic AI?Agentic AI refers to systems that act autonomously with a goal in mind. Unlike traditional AI that waits for a human prompt, agentic systems:Observe their environmentMake decisions based on real-time dataExecute actions to achieve specific outcomesIn cybersecurity, this means we’re no longer relying solely on human analysts or static tools. Agentic AI can identify threats, react in milliseconds, and adapt its strategy on the fly.---Why Traditional Cybersecurity Isn’t EnoughLet’s face it: cybercriminals are becoming more sophisticated. And static, rule-based systems just can’t keep up. They often fall short when it comes to:Detecting zero-day attacksReacting to real-time threatsScaling to manage massive data loadsThis is where agentic AI steps in—not just detecting, but preventing and neutralizing threats.---How Agentic AI Transforms CybersecurityHere are key areas where Agentic AI is making a huge impact:1. Autonomous Threat DetectionAgentic AI continuously scans systems, identifying even the subtlest anomalies—often long before traditional systems would flag them.2. Real-Time Intrusion ResponseInstead of sending alerts, these AI agents take action instantly—like isolating compromised nodes or adjusting firewalls on the fly.3. Behavioral MonitoringBy learning normal user behavior, agentic AI can spot suspicious actions and shut down potential insider threats.4. Adaptive Risk ManagementIt dynamically adjusts security protocols based on the current threat level, minimizing risk exposure without manual oversight.---Challenges to AddressWith all the promise, there are still hurdles to clear:Ethical implications of autonomous decisionsOver-reliance on AI without human checksMisjudged responses based on false positivesStriking the right balance between automation and human oversight is crucial.---The Road AheadAgentic AI is not just an upgrade to our cybersecurity tools—it’s a paradigm shift. With the ability to act independently, these systems mark the beginning of intelligent digital defense. As we step into the future, one thing is clear: Agentic AI won’t just be part of cybersecurity—it will define it.---Follow me for more tech insights, AI trends, and cybersecurity breakdowns!0 Kommentare 0 Anteile 56 Ansichten

GAMINGBOLT.COMKingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s Hardcore Mode Arrives Next WeekNews Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s Hardcore Mode Arrives Next Week Players must select three negative perks before starting a Hardcore playthrough and deal with no fast travel or directions. Posted By Ravi Sinha | On 08th, Apr. 2025 Warhorse Studios’ Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 received a major update last month with over 1,000 bug fixes and Barber Mode to adjust Henry’s hair and beard style. But what about Hardcore Mode? The game’s official Twitter announced it’s coming next week, though a specific date is pending. It also showcases negative perks players can activate for a Hardcore run, each with unique effects. What does it all mean? As outlined in a Dev Livestream from last month, Bad Back means less carrying capacity and a chance to strain your back when bending over to pick up herbs or mushrooms. Heavy-Footed causes Henry to make more noise and shoes to deteriorate faster. Numbskull is a 20 percent decrease for experience gain, and so on. There are ten negative perks, of which you must pick three before starting a Hardcore run. The mode also limits helpful UI elements, turns off fast travel, removes cardinal directions from the compass, and doesn’t show your position on the map. Stay tuned for more details on the patch, including its release date, in the coming days. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. WWW.RESETERA.COMVerge: You can borrow and resell Nintendo’s Switch 2 game-key cardsMeelow Uncle Works at Nintendo Member Oct 31, 2017 9,835 You can borrow, resell, and use Nintendo’s game-key cards on any Switch 2 console An internet connection is only needed once. www.theverge.com Nintendo's Tetsuya Sasaki explained to GameSpot that game-key cards aren't permanently tied to a specific Nintendo account. The games can be inserted and played on any Switch 2 console, allowing them to be borrowed, rented, and even resold. "So key cards will start up on the console or system that it is slotted into, so it's not tied to an account or anything," said Sasaki. Click to expand... Click to shrink... Shoichi Member Jan 10, 2018 12,187 yeah that was what I had understood, these are more like those game carts on Switch already that require a huge download, which can be resold, as opposed to digital codes in the box that lock your account to the game. it's like COD which I believe requires downloads as well in order to play. Nintendo just decided to go with SD Express for faster data transfer, which is still a newer format and will take time to go down in price for larger storage sizes just like it did for the older current version. Siresly Prophet of Regret Member Oct 27, 2017 7,228 I was just wondering about why in the hell they were putting keys on carts. The only thing I could think of that would make sense of the decision to produce carts over just printing a code on a piece of paper, was the ability to tie licenses to the cart rather than just the account or console. So that's cool that that's what they're actually doing. Now I wonder though, is Nintendo going to start charging users a transfer fee or some such? That possibility seems open. And of course, it's purely worse than just an actual cart with the actual game on it. Waddles the Piggu Member Oct 26, 2017 1,151 Suikoden on Switch 2 is also on a game key cart. Current Status: Crying Member Oct 25, 2017 10,038 Ok, nice to see this confirmed. I was sceptical of it because it's Nintendo and they like to do things their own way but this is good. At least, it's good for while the servers are available. Storage space is also an issue but no more than going digital is anyway and it's still more inconvenient (needing to swap the cards AND wait for the download/keep the space occupied on the storage) but oh well. Really sucks that some "smaller" games are using the key cards instead of actual storage but I guess these are cheaper for publishers so they get to make more money and not pass the savings on to us. And yeah, other platforms have essentially some of their physical release be download keys on a disc (or on PC Steam.exe on a disc + a CD key you need to enter) but that sucks too! Nintendo were (for the most part) the platform where you could buy a game and have the thing be on the card (barring any updates etc of course and excluding multiplayer). I know there were Switch 1 games that were basically this but not marked (or marked as clearly) but it was kind of just the "big" games right? As in storage size, because of the Switch card limitations and pricing. You didn't really see many games that'd fit on a Switch card ship with a card and then require the download on top of that right? (I'm not talking about smaller sized games being sold "physically" that were just a DL code). Anyway, much better than a DL key in a box I think but about the same for game preservation/future use especially as I don't see Nintendo carrying these forward with Switch 3 (or releasing some kind of adaptor) or keeping the Switch 2 eShop active in the future (like with past Nintendo online stores). Very cool being able to just resell or lend them out like a normal game though. I think we should be able to just do that in general with out fully digital licences too (beyond the up coming sharing stuff). End of the day though, the people will preserve the games one way or arrrrnother so preservation isn't too much of an issue outside of wanting to play on original hardware in the future where you don't have the game already downloaded. SupersonicHypertonic Member Apr 20, 2022 3,288 I thought that was given seeing as they're basically a way to put games bigger than 64GB (max size SD card for S2) onto a "physical" media. But I kept seeing news or tweets like it's a locked account or it's a scratch code in a box. It's basically the same discs on other system that download games but still need the disc as verification so why the confusion as if it was an unheard of idea. cw_sasuke Member Oct 27, 2017 29,537 Elven_Star said: So, let me get this straight. Or in the middle area of 8 to 64GB where publishers are opting to save costs to offer a lower price on retail spaces. It's good that the average customer will hopefully pay less for these and not just publishers upping their margins. It's bad for preservation. After all, you are not simply buying a license to hold a code, you are buying a permanent license to play the game, and if Nintendo decides to break that functionality in 2040 (or whenever) to save some pennies on server costs, they would need to compensate those consumers. If not, it seems like a pretty compelling legal case against them. Adulfzen Member Oct 29, 2017 3,836 that's what always gonna be an inevatibility given the technology of cartridges doesn't really seem to have a breakthrough making it cheaper to manufacture. And with Switch 2 I imagine the costs difference with bluray is even higher given that they're gonna need much faster read speeds to play the games without installing them. If you buy DLC and have a physical card, the DLC is tied to your account not the card so that isn't affected The waters are so muddied for physical already, I don't know that this 'breaks' anything. It seems better than a code in a box as it frees up the ability to trade/share/resell etc which a digital code doesn't. Click to expand... Click to shrink... Why are we rushing to the CoD and general huge game examples, but all the instances of game keys I've seen so far can most definitely fit on a cart, BD is only 11GB supposedly. If it's something that can't fit at all, fine, but you can already tell it's going to be used mostly for smaller releases. Bufbaf Don't F5! Buying a "key" card from nintendo to publish your small indie game is much, much cheaper than paying up for storage space. These cards are literally the optimal option for developers big and small, both for cost reasons on smaller games, but of course also for when game sizes get too big for reasonable regular cards for big devs, and it's obvious Nintendo wants to push them as well. The vast majority of games will be "game key cards" in like 4-5 years I'd wager. ZeoVGM Member Oct 25, 2017 83,797 Providence, RI Firemind said: Good luck when the servers die. Click to expand... I don't really understand where comments like this come from. There is nothing to worry about in regards to servers dying and it's not already the case now for a lot of regular games. Are you confusing when an eShop closes or when multiplayer servers go down with the ability to redownload a game you already purchased? You can still redownload games you purchased on Wii. As long as NIntendo is around, you will almost certainly be able to download the extra data needed for the key cards and that will be long after the Switch 2 is dead. I'm a physical media guy through and through but there's nothing to worry about when it comes to being able to download what you need for these key cards.0 Kommentare 0 Anteile 57 Ansichten

WWW.POLYGON.COMPath of Exile 2 players bully Elon Musk during eerie airplane streamWhile massive demonstrations in opposition of the Trump regime raged across the globe this weekend, a very different type of protest was taking place in Path of Exile 2 against its most infamous “player,” billionaire Elon Musk.Musk went live on X (formerly Twitter) the afternoon of April 5 with an “airborne continuity test” of his satellite internet service Starlink, also known as playing Path of Exile 2 poorly on a private jet. Shortly after his broadcast started, the CEO and prominent political advisor began receiving private messages from other players, many of which were incredibly cutting and therefore quite hilarious. One might assume someone like Musk who presents himself as epic gamer would know how to turn off the chat, and thus prevent these insults from interrupting his vanity project. But alas, it seems like he was okay with just ignoring folks hating on him one at a time. Some examples include:Multiple players asking Musk if he needs help boosting his account“YOU HAVE NO FRIENDS AND YOU WILL DIE ALONE,” from a player named ELON_IS_A_PEEDOPHILESupporters begging Musk to turn on “Do Not Disturb” mode to prevent the hate spam“put on some grimes,” which, as the most divorced man alive, you know he didPeople citing Musk’s own bizarre criticism of chess for being too “simple” and having no fog of war or technology trees“YOU WILL ALWAYS FEEL INSECURE AND IT WILL NEVER GO AWAY,” from a player named ELON_MUSK_IS_PATHETICSomeone pretending to be Ashley St. Clair, a conservative influencer who says she is the mother of Musk’s latest child, begging him to pay child support“your daughter was right,” likely referencing Musk’s estranged daughter Vivian Wilson’s recent conversation with Twitch streamer Hasan PikerMultiple insults about how Musk plays the game“ELON HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO LOOK THIS DUMB AND UGLY WHY IS UR TESLA COMPANY FALLING APART”The weirdest part of the stream, however, was Musk’s wordless, dead-eyed stare through the whole broadcast. I’ve had the archive playing in the background while writing this story, and Musk hasn’t mumbled more than a few words at a time for the last half hour. I keep flipping back to the video, thinking he must be doing something other than wordlessly clicking through a computer game on a luxury aircraft (maybe he’s too busy daydreaming of destroying Social Security?) — but nope, there’s his face, staring blankly at the screen as other players’ contempt fills his in-game whispers. As for what Musk did in Path of Exile 2, he lost several hardcore characters, then quit when the connection got bad and he died to a tutorial boss.See More:0 Kommentare 0 Anteile 56 Ansichten

The Blackwell GPU does many traditional things that we would expect from a GPU, but simultaneously breaks the barrier when it comes to untraditional GPU operations. To sum up some features: New Streaming Multiprocessor (SM) New 5th Gen Tensor Cores New 4th Gen RT (Ray Tracing) Cores AI Management Processor Max-Q Mode for Desktops & Laptops New GDDR7 High-Performance Memory Subsystem New DP2.1b Display Engine & Next-Gen NVENC/NVDEC 2 of 9 The technologies mentioned above are some of the main building blocks of the Blackwell GPU, but there's more within the graphics core itself which we will talk about in detail, so let's get started.
