GAMINGBOLT.COMSaros Will Receive Extended Gameplay Reveal Later This YearNews Saros Will Receive Extended Gameplay Reveal Later This Year Housemarque's rogue-lite shooter launches in 2026 for the PS5 and follows Arjun Devraj as he attempts to break the cycle on Carcosa. Posted By Ravi Sinha | On 18th, Apr. 2025 Among Sony’s first-party exclusives, Housemarque’s Saros is one of the more intriguing despite how far off its launch. The developer promised more details later this year, and thankfully, that’s not all, as an extended gameplay reveal is also on the cards. The set-up for the title will sound very familiar to Returnal fans. As Arjun Devraj (played by Rahul Kohli), you’re trapped in an endless cycle on Carcosa, looking for someone. Each death causes the world to change, but unlike Returnal, you can find resources that carry over and permanently upgrade your loadout. Arjun will thus become stronger and more capable of tackling Carcosa’s mysteries, including the strange multi-armed figure and the eclipse. Housemarque also promises an “evolving set” of weapons and suit upgrades, though we’ve yet to see much beyond the debut trailer. Saros launches in 2026 for the PS5, so stay tuned for more updates. WWW.RESETERA.COMDONT'NOD: Lost Records' "sales are in line with forecasts". The studio is open to work on IPs from other partners.Maxime Member Oct 27, 2017 3,523 DON'T NOD published their FY2024 today. If you've been following the studio, you know shit is fucked. The tl;dr: DON'TNOD said: Operating revenues and operating EBITDA impacted by the commercial underperformance of 2023 and 2024 game releases in an extremely competitive and concentrated market Results significantly impacted by non-cash accounting adjustment of portfolio value Robust consolidated cash position of €32.9 million Execution of strategy, with a refocus on three production lines to adapt to new market conditions Click to expand... Click to shrink... Oskar Guilbert said: Our 2024 results reflect performances that fell short of our expectations for recent productions, despite a very positive critical reception. They also include a non-cash accounting adjustment to the value of our portfolio. As part of our transformation and refocusing efforts, we also had to implement a structural cost-saving plan aimed at focusing our efforts on three production lines. This approach is in line with our commitment to secure the Group's resources and strengthen its ability to operate in an increasingly competitive and selective environment. We are actively pursuing our efforts to secure funding for our upcoming productions while also exploring opportunities related to high-profile licenses owned by major entertainment industry players. We remain firmly focused on the future and fully committed to executing our strategy to strengthen our competitiveness, improve our profitability and create sustainable value for all our stakeholders. The game has a Metacritic score of 80 and a Steam user score of 92%, further confirming DON'T NOD's expertise in the Narrative Adventure genre. I was also thinking it could be really interesting to see different stories about Banishers across history, like this one is in the colonial era but a sequel could be set in the 1800s or the early 1900s - how would their roles change? How would they be similar? Would they use the same tools or be forced to adapt? shinobi602 Verified Oct 24, 2017 11,041 Glad to hear it's at least in line with projections and not something crazy that they expected. I'm looking forward to playing it soon, just have to wrap up AC Shadows. PucePikmin Member Apr 26, 2018 5,212 Hopefully the can right the ship. In retrospect, they probably should have tried to buy the Life is Strange IP from Square Enix, or failing that, created a very obvious "successor" brand, and focused in on that, rather than spinning off with a half-dozen different one-off narrative series, and then trying to get back into the action-adventure space once narrative adventures had become their trademark. penny toast Member Feb 20, 2024 939 glad they could forecast accurately for bloom & rage, but yeah to echo: that tells me nothing i can certainly [omissive implicature] guess; if forecasts were big big exciting then report would reflect excitement Tape 1 peaked at 3.0k steam ccu, will be curious to see where Tape 2 lands (since plenty could be holding off for full experience) Koira—also mentioned in the report, under the section titled Continuation of the transformation strategy —peaked at just 46 ccu, 91 reviews. can't imagine that's worth it in any capacity as a publisher but like i'm always going to root for a studio that releases a game like French Maritime Term just tricky to not feel dreadsense 9-Volt Member Oct 27, 2017 13,728 DON'T NOD x Famicom Detective Club DON'T NOD x Hotel Dusk Aw yeah. WWW.POLYGON.COMDiablo is going BerserkBlizzard teased two “new IP collabs” for Diablo 4 back on April 8, and it didn’t long for them to reveal the first: A crossover with legendary manga series Berserk.Details on the collaboration are scarce, but the announcement video is evocative as hell. It opens with a shot of Berserk’s foreboding and narrative-shifting eclipse before panning to the action taking place below. Diablo’s Barbarian, decked out in Berserk protagonist Guts’ jagged armor and massive Dragon Slayer great sword, cuts down a horde of lesser demons, their red blood exaggerated against the blackness of the moon’s shadow. He stops for a moment to reveal another piece of Berserk iconography in the glowing Brand of Sacrifice on his neck before resuming his slaughter. The video’s X upload is captioned “You have been Branded,” whereas the YouTube version invites players to “Trace the path of the Black Swordsman.” Both Diablo 4 and Diablo Immortal will apparently be included in the crossover. While both Diablo games will more than likely receive Berserk cosmetics to celebrate the pairing, we may also be able to glean gameplay elements from the short video courtesy of the Brand of Sacrifice’s cameo. The mark is a big deal in the world of Berserk, as those bearing the brand have been labeled as offerings in a ceremony meant to assist another in transcending humanity and becoming a god. Should a person with the Brand of Sacrifice survive the ceremony, they become something of a beacon for evil spirits. It’s possible Diablo players will be able to accept the Brand of Sacrifice willingly as a way to increase enemy spawns and thus garner more experience and loot.Berserk was first published by writer and artist Kentaro Miura in 1989, and in the decades since has gone on to become one of the most beloved and commercially successful manga in history (just don’t ask about the anime adaptations). Its legacy is tangible, not only in the worlds of comics and animation but video games as well, most notably serving as a major influence on FromSoftware releases like Dark Souls and Elden Ring. Miura’s sudden passing in 2021 shocked the world and shifted responsibility for Berserk’s continuation to Kouji Mori, a close friend who promised to “only write the lines and stories that Miura described to me.” The manga’s most recent chapter, the title of which roughly translates to the Sekiro subtitle “Shadows Die Twice,” was published on Feb. 28.A firm date hasn’t been provided for the Diablo x Berserk crossover, but it’s scheduled to take place during the “Belial’s Return,” event sometime between April and July.See More: Diablo 4PlaystationPlaystation logoPlaystationPlaystation logoWindowsWindows logoXboxXbox logoXboxXbox logoExplore The GameWhy it mattersLike Diablo 3, Diablo 4 took a while to find its feet, but a major 2024 update turned it into the hugely gratifying and compulsive loot-hunting game it always threatened to be.— Oli Welsh, Senior Editor, U.K.0 Комментарии 0 Поделились 53 Просмотры

WCCFTECH.COMHuawei Unveils Its Next-Gen Ascend 920 AI Chip To Fill The Market Gap Created By NVIDIA; US Export Controls Are Working In Favour of China For NowMenu Home News Hardware Gaming Mobile Finance Deals Reviews How To Wccftech HardwareIndustry Huawei Unveils Its Next-Gen Ascend 920 AI Chip To Fill The Market Gap Created By NVIDIA; US Export Controls Are Working In Favour of China For Now Muhammad Zuhair • Apr 18, 2025 at 12:48pm EDT Huawei isn't stopping when it comes to giving NVIDIA a tough competition in the Chinese market, as the firm has unveiled its next-gen Ascend 920 chip. Huawei's Ascend 920 AI Chip Seen As a Viable Alternative To NVIDIA's H20, Team Green Is Losing Ground In The Chinese AI Market There's no doubt that Team Green is the leading firm in providing AI hardware, but it seems like the balance is tilting towards the likes of Huawei and others. Recently, we reported on how NVIDIA is now barred from exporting its H20 AI accelerator to China, which is gaining massive adoption from domestic tech giants. This has created a new opportunity for Huawei to step up its AI solutions, and with this, the Chinese tech giant has unveiled its new AI chip, the Ascend 920 (via DigiTimes). The details about the chip are confined for now, but it is revealed that the Ascend 920 is a direct competitor to NVIDIA's H20, given that special focus has been made on ensuring that the supply chain is entirely an "in-house" one. The accelerator is claimed to utilize SMIC's 6nm process, which is an upgrade over the Ascend 910C, which featured 7nm. In terms of performance, it is claimed that the Ascend 920 will feature 900 TFLOPS, a memory bandwidth of 4,000 GB/s, and a chiplet design similar to the Ascend 910C. It is claimed that Huawei's new chip is around 30%- 40% faster than the previous generation, and considering this, it could be concluded that the Ascend 920 is superior to NVIDIA's H20. However, we should wait and see actual testing by third-party reviewers to ensure that the performance claims are valid here. Interestingly, this development only came one day after the new export controls on NVIDIA, which shows that Huawei is determined to be the leading hardware supplier in the region. Apart from individual chips, Huawei has also made huge strides in the AI cluster segment. The firm's CloudMatrix 384 system, which is based on the Ascend 910C chips, is said to be faster in performance compared to NVIDIA's "cutting-edge" GB200 NVL72 system. This validates the fact that Huawei plans to go all out in the AI segment, while NVIDIA is still finding trouble with export regulations and maintaining its position in China.
