• RSHP wins approval for 54-storey City of London tower
    www.architectsjournal.co.uk
Despite objections from Historic England and St Pauls Cathedral, a City of London planning committee today (31 January) voted 17-0 in favour of the proposals for the office tower at 99 Bishopsgate, just 300m from its own headquarters in the nearby Cheesegrater on Leadenhall Street. The 93,000m scheme for Brookfield Properties involves demolishing an existing 1970s Seifert building, which was overhauled after sustaining damage from an IRA Bomb in 1993. It would be replaced by a 254m-tall office block with cafs and shops at ground level, along with a standalone six-storey cultural pavilion, dubbed Open Gate, with a map of London on its outer veil, accommodating creative and community uses. The plans for the site at the northern gateway into the City Cluster near Liverpool Street station also include a cycle hub and new public realm to boost accessibility and link Wormwood Street to Bishopsgate.AdvertisementAccording to the design team, the visibly green building scheme prioritises adaptive reuse and will retain all the existing foundations which make up nearly 50 per cent of the Seifert buildings mass to reduce embodied carbon. The plans include the retention of a 3m-thick reinforced concrete structural raft at the foot of the existing building, which, though impacting on the number of cycle spaces, would save large amounts of carbon. The practice had previously said the existing structure had a number of significant issues, including a lack of pedestrian routes and restricted pavements, a dense structural grid that limits flexibility and poor access to outdoor amenity space.Historic England had strongly objected to the proposed skyscraper, claiming it would introduce a very steep edge to the Citys tall buildings cluster, close to St Pauls Cathedral, in the strategic view of it from Waterloo Bridge. The heritage watchdog said the new tower would reduce the pre-eminence of the cathedral on the skyline, resulting in clear harm to St Pauls Cathedral. The organisation said additional harm would be caused to the highly graded listed buildings near Whitehall in the protected view from St Jamess Park.AdvertisementConcerns were also raised by committee members about pedestrian safety and comfort around cyclists using the 144-space public bike hub and 1,600-space facility in the buildings basement. However, the committee waved the plans through. Source:RSHPRSHP plans for 99 BishopsgateThe RSHP scheme is expected to contributing 8.3 per cent of the additional office space needed by the City by 2040 to support employment growth and solidify the Citys position as a leading global financial district.Graham Stirk, senior design partner at RSHP, said: Building on our whole-life and operational carbon assessments, retaining the piled raft foundation generates a series of architectural and engineering features that manifest themselves in the overall architectural composition and language of our proposals. The structure creates a simple, flexible office floorplate and provides a visual framework that allows the building to be legible when viewed from distance and at pedestrian level. This defines a number of small-scale faade typologies that reflect the functional office and winter garden activities within. He added: 'Terraces conceptually allow landscape to erode the structural framework creating a creating a visibly green building that defines the distinct character to the architecture. At ground level, 18m-high public arcades, a publicly accessible cultural building and a vibrant city market are all provided within an enhanced, step-free public realm, blending historical significance with sustainable, innovative design for a revitalised urban experience. The new tower the first designs for which were revealed in March last year would rise above Foster + Partners nearby Gherkin (180m) and RSHPs own Leadenhall building (224m).However, it would be slightly shorter than Arney Fender Katsalidiss proposed 285m skyscraper, which was approved in 2023, at neighbouring 55 Bishopsgate.

Key takeaways You can earn up to 4.65% APY with today's top CDs.The Federal Reserve paused rates this week, but cuts are expected later this year.Locking in your APY now can protect your returns from future rate drops. Want to maximize your earnings with a certificate of deposit? You've still got time to do it. The Federal Reserve's rate pause this week means CD rates are likely to hold steady for the time being. But that doesn't mean you should wait too long to open an account.Experts expect the Fed will begin cutting rates later this year, and banks can always adjust their CD rates at any time. By opening a CD now, you can lock in today's rates and protect your earning potential. Enter your information below to get CNET's partners' best rate for your area. How the Fed impacts CD ratesAPYs on CDs and savings accounts have been dropping since the Fed cut interest rates at its last three 2024 meetings. But with inflation rising again, the Fed chose to hold rates steady at its Jan. 29 meeting, and experts believe it will keep rates paused for a while. As a result, banks are hedging their bets by keeping CD rates relatively flat too, particularly given the uncertainty around the new administration's policies."Current signals suggest a cautious, wait-and-see approach to determine the pace of interest rate cuts this year," said Chad Olivier, CEO of The Olivier Group. While the Fed is still projected to ease rates later this year, "the markets are, in some respect, waiting to see what happens with the new administration before they really step in and get aggressive on lower interest rates," Olivier said.By securing a high APY now, you can maximize your savings. Your APY is locked in when you open a CD, which means your rate of return stays the same regardless of where the Fed's benchmark rate goes after that. You can earn up to 5% APY on the best high-yield savings accounts. To find the right CD for you, weigh these factors, too:When you'll need your money: Early withdrawal penalties on CDs can eat into your interest earnings if you need your money before the term ends, so choose a timeline that makes sense. Alternatively, you can select a no-penalty CD, although the APY may not be as high as you'd get with a traditional CD of the same term.Minimum deposit requirement: Some CDs require a minimum deposit to open an account, typically $500 to $1,000. Knowing how much money you have to set aside can help you narrow your options.Fees: Maintenance and other fees can cut into your savings. Many online banks don't charge fees because they have lower overhead costs than banks with physical branches. Read the fine print for any account you're evaluating.Safety and security: Make sure the bank or credit union you're considering is insured with theFederal Deposit Insurance Corporation-- or the National Credit Union Administration for credit unions -- so your money is protected if the bank fails.Customer ratings and reviews: Visit sites like Trustpilot to see what customers are saying about the bank. You want a bank that's responsive, professional and easy to work with.MethodologyCNET reviews CD rates based on the latest APY information from issuer websites. Chapter 35 will introduce a new killer for everyone in March, and they are the final licensed bad guy for Year 9. Before the new killer arrives, we can look at the most popular DBD killers and survivors stats for the new year so far by looking at January 2025.Dead By Daylight most and least popular killers January 2025Nightlight is an excellent resource that compiles stats for Dead By Daylight. These are not officially from BeHaviour Interactive, but they are aggregated from thousands of matches uploaded. The January 2025 killer stats range from between January 2nd to January 30th, and they involve 19,800 games. According to the stats, Huntress remained the most popular killer, meanwhile, Wesker was number two, The Blight third, Michael Myers fourth, and The Wraith fifth. This is slightly different to the last time we looked at the most popular DBD killers back in November. Huntress remains the most popular baddie in Dead By Daylight, but Dracula dropped from second all the way to tenth. From November, Wesker moved up from third, and Blight moved up from fifth. Michael Myers remained the same at fourth, meanwhile, The Wraith massively improved by leaping to fifth. As for the least popular killers, The Hag was rock bottom, meanwhile, Skull Merchant was the second least popular, and the Twins were third. While The Hag and Skull Merchant remained the bottom two, the good news is that Freddy Kreuger skyrocketed from the bottom five into 12th place, and they could climb even higher in February thanks to their balance changes.Below were the top 10 most popular DBD killers in January 2025 with their pick and kill rate: Must-Listen: Publishing Manor Lords w/ Joe Robinson VideoGamer Podcast Listen Now The Huntress Pick rate: 6.44% Kill rate: 55.98%Wesker Pick rate: 5.19% Kill rate: 53.58%The Blight Pick rate: 5.04% Kill rate: 60.092%Michael Myers Pick rate: 3.94% Kill rate: 53.30%The Wraith Pick rate: 3.73% Kill rate: 58.05%Nemesis Pick rate: 3.63% Kill rate: 53.44%The Houndmaster Pick rate: 3.59% Kill rate: 58.77%Legion Pick rate: 3.52% Kill rate: 55.24%The Spirit Pick rate: 3.50% Kill rate: 56.35%Dracula Pick rate: 3.49% Kill rate: 55.85%Dead By Daylight most and least popular survivors January 2025The most popular Dead By Daylight survivors in January 2025 were similarly comprised from between January 2nd to 30th, but this time from 91, 891 players.Sable Ward was again the most popular, which has been a recurring theme ever since she captured the hearts of players beck in early 2024. Nea Karlsson was second, Kate Denson third, Feng Min fourth, and Mikaela Reid fifth.Again, the top five most popular survivors were all female. However, there were some differences compared to November. Mikaela dropped from second place to fifth, and Feng Min also dropped from third to fourth. Kate Denson climbed to third from fourth, and Nea Karlsson didnt just enter the top five, she cemented herself at second place out-of-nowhere.As for the least popular survivors, the bottom five were Jonah, Yoichi, Detective Tapp, Haddie Kaur, and Ash Williams from Evil Dead. This is slightly different from November as there was no bottom five place for Quentin Smith. I ab-stainA life-sized Gardevoir plush is going on sale soon, and might take the crown as number one toy you shouldnt buy second handSomewhere, on the internet, people are excited for reasons not worth thinking about.Image credit: Pokemon / VG247 News by Connor Makar Staff Writer Published on Jan. 31, 2025 A full-sized Gardevoir plush has been revealed by the Pokemon Center, and will go on sale in Japan on February 6. This is a perfect gift for young children who love Pokemon, super fans looking to add another rad toy to their collection, and the most down bad gooners to ever exist.Coming in at 160cm tall and weighing 5,000g, this looks to be a plush with some real heft to it. You can make it stand in the corner of your room as a cool showpiece, and absolutely nothing else. You can do absolutely nothing else with this. It'll be sold in Japan for 49,500 Yen, or roughly $320. A bit pricey sure, but you can't put a price on luxury, or degeneracy. To see this content please enable targeting cookies. This isn't the first life-sized Pokemon plush to be released. In fact, you can buy a Lucario plush that's a whopping 47.25 inches tall! This plush has bendable arms so you can pose it however you like, and "soft fabric" according to the store listing. This plush is so popular, it's no longer in stock as of writing. Lots of cool parents buying this for their kids out there. Yep. Loads of happily married parents.Gardevoir, like Lucario, is a beloved Pokemon for a variety of reasons. For one, she's a proper stylish Pokemon, with a dress that lots of fans think is just too cool to pass up. In addition, she's a Psychic type, and who doesn't love Psychic types? Aside from these factors and some highlight roles in Pokemon cartoons and video games, that pretty much sums up the love for Gardevoir. So there we have it! There's no word on when this will become available outside of Japan, but I've just looked down at my crystal ball, and I can safely say there will be a lot of demand for this plush worldwide. However, as a fair warning, do not buy this second hand. Stocks may be low, but hang in there. Do not, under any circumstances, buy this plush second hand. Not for you, not for your kids. Don't do it.Will you be buying this Gardevoir plush? Is your name present on any lists we shoudl know about? Let us know below!

  • Review: NYXI Hyperion 2 - Are These Really "The Ultimate Replacement" For Your Switch Joy-Con?
    www.nintendolife.com
Image: Gavin Lane / Nintendo LifeWhen the Switch launched, its new Joy-Con controllers were dreamy little wonders stuffed with neat tech and surprises.Unfortunately, the biggest surprise was an unwelcome one - with time, the sticks were prone to drifting on their own accord, and the widespread problem caused many a Switch gamer's opinion to sour. The pads' small size also created problems for many players with larger hands, with some of us forking out for a Pro Controller or switching to a grip or third-party alternative for handheld play.Subscribe to Nintendo Life on YouTube794kWatch on YouTube However, non-Nintendo alternatives always come with compromises. Our beloved Hori Split Pad Pro lacks motion sensors, for instance, meaning stick-based aiming only in games like BOTW or Splatoon. It's fine, but after you've experienced the precision of gryo aiming, it's tough to go back.Enter NYXI with its updated Hyperion 2 Joy-Con pads, pitched as "the ultimate replacement" for the real Mc-Con. They don't quite match the official feature set, but they add a few things Nintendon't and, pound for pound, these could well suit you better, depending on your priorities. On this page: Review: NYXI Hyperion 2 - Are These Really "The Ultimate Replacement" For Your Switch Joy-Con?NYXI Hyperion 2: DesignWrapped in plastic Images: Gavin Lane / Nintendo LifeHaving found NYXI's Warrior pad for GameCube and Switch to be a quirky but quality bit of kit, this new pair of Joy-Con released earlier in January and we were curious to see how they compared to Nintendo's. The Hyperion 2s are, in fact, the third entry in the Hyperion range, with the originals offering similar functionality with an asymmetric grip design, and a Pro variant adding Hall Effect joysticks that are also present here. These pads split the difference between the chunkier grips of previous models and the straight sides of official Joy-Con. The backs here bulge out for comfier handheld play, but they feel less unwieldy when you slide them off the rails. They're around a centimetre wider than Nintendo's Joy-Con, though, and feel much more substantial - 80g each compared to Nintendo's ~50g, but with the extra grip they give you, it's hard to discern the added weight. What's missing compared to the official Joy-Con, then? Well, there's no IR sensor in the right controller, nor an NFC reader for your amiibo. These Joy-Con have rumble (which can be cycled between three intensity settings) but it's not the HD variety, so you won't be able to count balls in a box in 1-2-Switch (we tried). In place of those features, however, you get turbo options, programmable back buttons, removable magnetic faceplates, and natty LED lights around the analogue sticks. And most importantly, they've got those Hall Effect sticks, meaning they shouldn't suffer from the dreaded Joy-Con drift.Images: Gavin Lane / Nintendo LifeAt $79.99 (64.39 / 76,99), they'll set you back the same as a pair of Nintendo's Joy-Con, and they're pricier than HYXI's Hyperion Pro ($65.99) and the original Hyperion ($56.99). They come with a plastic case if you're looking to keep them pristine between play sessions, but that and a manual are all you get in the box otherwise.NYXI Hyperion 2: PerformanceImages: Gavin Lane / Nintendo LifeLet's get the lights out of the way first. Each to their own, but this reviewer has never been a fan of I'M-A-GAMER paraphernalia. However, we did warm to the subtle RGB detailing here, which feels classier than your typical screaming neon. You can have the lights pulsing in rainbow hues, or click the tiny buttons on the back to pick a solid colour from a choice of seven - we ended up with blue on the left and red on the right to duplicate the classic Switch feel. Keeping the lights on halves the 10-hour battery life between charges, but realistically you'll be sliding the controllers back on the console before they run out of juice.Fashion-Con aside, these feel great in the hands. Face button placement is good, the grips give you plenty of purchase, the sticks are responsive, and the back buttons fall in a nice, natural position. Firing up some Hades on the sofa, any failures when facing the monstrous hordes of Tartarus, Asphodel, and Elysium were down to our being out of practice.Years ago, a combination of drift and hand cramps led to migrating to a Pro Controller almost exclusively for TV play, so it's been a minute since we sat on the sofa playing with crossed arms. We didn't realise how much we'd missed that feeling, that freedom!Images: Gavin Lane / Nintendo LifeMoving onto TOTK, our go-to controller-tester these days, we started to feel that these could be our default Switch controllers from now on. Other third-party pads have six-way gyro, of course, but the Hyperion 2 feels like the happiest medium that retains the basic shape and functionality of the official Joy-Con but enhanced for larger-handed players. After we'd turned down the rumble intensity to preserve our fillings, we quickly forgot about them always a good sign with any input device and just cracked on assembling Mineru's Construct. A quick blast of Splatoon 2 was similarly pleasurable and uneventful. A quick dip into 1-2-Switch confirmed that you'll need to keep your OG Joy-Con handy for high-def rumble (and IR functionality and scanning amiibo) but, for us, the added benefits here far outstrip the lost features.Detaching and holding them sideways for multiplayer, they're more or less the same as the official Joy-Con comfort-wise. 'SL' and 'SR' are similarly tiny and awkward to find, and the grip bulge on the back makes resting the pad on your third fingers (rather than your middle fingers) more natural. This needs-must multiplayer control method has never been optimal, not for long periods, but it's no worse than the standard Joy-Con if you're sitting down to some couch co-op.In addition to the lights, detachable faceplates can be easily swapped on and off, although we only had the one set and it seems that NXYI hasn't started selling them separately yet. Honestly, with the customisable lights, there's not a huge need for them, but they're harmless fun and we like the efficiency of the magnets covering and attaching to the pad's screw heads.Image: Gavin Lane / Nintendo LifePersonally, we would have preferred a D-pad on the left, but that's a nitpick given the intent here to more closely replicate the look and functions of Nintendo's official offering. Our only real criticism comes down to button preference clicky microswitches wouldn't be our first choice. They're perfectly accurate and playing in the living room on a TV is fine, but it's worth considering if you like to play in bed while someone's sleeping in the same room. We're on the brink of a generation's end, with Switch 2 and its magnetic, mouse-like Joy-Con on the horizon, and it's a shame that NYXI's delivering this genuine improvement to the real deal so late in the day. If you're going to pick up Switch 2 on day one later this year, you're best off sitting tight - hopefully Nintendo's next-gen Joy-Con will solve the endemic drift problem. But if you intend to stick with Switch '1' for a while yet, these are definitely worth a look.NYXI Hyperion 2 - The VerdictSo are these really "the ultimate replacement" for your knackered old Joy-Con, as NYXI claims? You know, they're pretty damn close. It really depends on the control functions you use and value most; for us, the loss of HD rumble, the IR sensor, and the NFC reader was more than countered by improved sticks, optional back buttons, and ergonomics that better suit our larger, adult hands. The lights, magnetic faceplates, and turbo functions are fun but superfluous extras and we might have ditched them in favour of a more competitive price point - these cost the same as Nintendo's own Joy-Con. However, if you're looking for a serious alternative that isn't plagued by drift issues and the other features sound appealing, the Hyperion 2 are absolutely worth considering.Ultimately, our Hori Switch Pad Pro and official Joy-Con have gone in the drawer and these have become our default Switch controllers; as recommendations go, we feel that's a pretty strong one.Top-notch quality, with drift-resistant Hall Effect sticksMore comfortable if you've got medium-to-large hands, especially for long sessionsThe lights, while unnecessary, are fun and fairly classyAn optional back button is always welcomeClicky microswitches are noisy in a quiet roomMissing some (rarely-used) official featuresExcellent 9/10The sample used in this review was supplied by NYXI.Please note that some external links on this page are affiliate links, which means if you click them and make a purchase we may receive a small percentage of the sale. Enterprise cybersecurity tools, such as routers, firewalls and VPNs, exist to protect corporate networks from intruders and malicious hackers, something that is particularly important in todays age of widespread remote and hybrid working. But while pitched as tools that help organizations stay safe from outside threats, many of these products have time and again found to contain software bugs that allow malicious hackers to compromise the very networks these products were designed to protect. These bugs have been blamed for an explosion in mass-hacking campaigns in recent years, whereby malicious hackers abuse these often easy-to-exploit security flaws to break into the networks of thousands of organizations and steal sensitive company data.Weve put together a brief history of mass-hacks, and will update this article when more inevitably come to light. One of the first mass-hacks of this decade saw a notorious ransomware crew exploit a vulnerability in Fortras GoAnywhere managed file transfer software, a product used by companies to share large files and sensitive datasets over the internet. The prolific Clop ransomware gang exploited the bug to compromise more than 130 organizations and steal the personal data of millions of individuals. The vulnerability was exploited as a zero-day, which means Fortra had no time to fix it before it came under attack. Clop later published data stolen from victim organizations who did not pay the hackers a ransom. Hitachi Energy, security giant Rubrik, and Florida-based health tech organization NationBenefits which saw the data of more than three million members stolen in the attack reported intrusions resulting from the buggy software.May 2023: MOVEit flaws allowed theft of 60 million peoples dataThe mass-hack of MOVEit remains one of the largest mass-breaches of all time, with hackers abusing a flaw in another widely used file transfer software, developed by Progress Software, to steal data from several thousand organizations. The attacks were again claimed by the Clop ransomware group, which exploited the MOVEit vulnerability to steal data on more than 60 million individuals, according to cybersecurity company Emsisoft. U.S. government services contracting giant Maximus was the largest victim of the MOVEit breach after confirming that hackers accessed the protected health information of as many as 11 million individuals.October 2023: Cisco zero-day exposed thousands of routers to takeoversThe mass-hacks continued into the second half of 2023, with hackers exploiting an unpatched zero-day vulnerability in Ciscos networking software throughout October to compromise tens of thousands of devices that rely on the software, such as enterprise switches, wireless controllers, access points, and industrial routers. The bug granted attackers full control of the compromised device. While Cisco didnt confirm how many customers had been affected by the flaw, Censys, a search engine for internet-connected devices and assets, says it had observed almost 42,000 compromised devices exposed to the internet.IMAGE CREDIT: Ramon Costa/SOPA Images/LightRocket via Getty Images)November 2023: Ransomware gang exploits Citrix bugCitrix NetScaler, which large enterprises and governments use for application delivery and VPN connectivity, became the latest mass-hack target just one month later in November 2023. The bug, known as CitrixBleed, allowed the Russia-linked ransomware gang LockBit to extract sensitive information from affected NetScaler systems at big-name firms. Aerospace giant Boeing, law firm Allen & Overy, and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China were claimed as victims.January 2024: China hackers exploited Ivanti VPN bugs to breach companiesIvanti became a name synonymous with mass-hacks after Chinese state-backed hackers began mass-exploiting two critical zero-day vulnerabilities in Ivantis corporate Connect Secure VPN appliance. While Ivanti said at the time that only a limited number of customers had been affected, cybersecurity company Volexity found that more than 1,700 Ivanti appliances worldwide were exploited, affecting organizations in the aerospace, banking, defense, and telecoms industries. U.S. government agencies with affected Ivanti systems in operation were ordered to immediately take the systems out of service. Exploitation of these vulnerabilities has since been linked to the China-backed espionage group known as Salt Typhoon, which more recently was found to have hacked into the networks of at least nine U.S. telecommunications companies. In February 2024, hackers took aim at two easy-to-exploit vulnerabilities in ConnectWise ScreenConnect, a popular remote access tool that allows IT and support technicians to remotely provide technical assistance directly on customer systems. Cybersecurity giant Mandiant said at the time its researchers had observed identified mass exploitation of the two flaws, which were being abused by various threat actors to deploy password stealers, backdoors, and in some cases, ransomware.Hackers hit Ivanti customers (again) with fresh bugsIvanti made headlines again also in February 2024 when attackers exploited another vulnerability in its widely used enterprise VPN appliance to mass-hack its customers. The Shadowserver Foundation, a nonprofit organization that scans and monitors the internet for exploitation, told TechCrunch at the time it had observed more than 630 unique IP addresses attempting to exploit the server-side flaw, which allows attackers to gain access to devices and systems ostensibly protected by the vulnerable Ivanti appliances.November 2024: Palo Alto firewall bugs put thousands of firms at riskLater in 2024, hackers compromised potentially thousands of organizations by exploiting two zero-day vulnerabilities in software made by cybersecurity giant Palo Alto Networks and used by customers around the world. The vulnerabilities in PAN-OS, the operating system that runs on all of Palo Altos next-generation firewalls, allowed attackers to compromise and exfiltrate sensitive data from corporate networks. According to researchers at security firm watchTowr Labs who reverse-engineered Palo Altos patches, the flaws resulted from basic mistakes in the development process.December 2024: Clop compromises Cleo customersIn December 2024, the Clop ransomware gang targeted yet another popular file transfer technology to launch a fresh wave of mass hacks. This time, the gang exploited flaws in tools made by Cleo Software, an Illinois-based maker of enterprise software, to target dozens of the companys customers. By early January 2025, Clop listed almost 60 Cleo companies that it had allegedly compromised, including U.S. supply chain software giant Blue Yonder and German manufacturing giant Covestro. By the end of January, Clop added another 50 alleged Cleo mass-hack victims to its dark web leak site.IMAGE CREDIT: Alex Kraus/Bloomberg via Getty ImagesJanuary 2025: New year, new Ivanti bugs under attackThe new year began with Ivanti falling victim to hackers yet again. The U.S. software giant alerted customers in early-January 2025 that hackers were exploiting a new zero-day vulnerability in its enterprise VPN appliance to breach the networks of its corporate customers. Ivanti said that a limited number of customers were affected, but declined to say how many. The Shadowerver Foundation says its data shows hundreds of backdoored customer systems.Fortinet firewall bugs exploited since DecemberJust days after Ivantis latest bug was disclosed, Fortinet confirmed that hackers had separately been exploiting a vulnerability in its firewalls to break into the networks of its corporate and enterprise customers. The flaw, which affects the cybersecurity companys FortiGate firewalls, had been mass exploited as a zero-day bug since at least December 2024, according to security research firms. Fortinet declined to say how many customers were affected, but security research firms investigating the attacks observed intrusions affecting tens of affected devices.SonicWall say hackers are remotely hacking customersJanuary 2025 remained a busy month for hackers exploiting bugs in enterprise security software. SonicWall said in late-January that as-yet-unidentified hackers are exploiting a newly discovered vulnerability in one of its enterprise products to break into its customer networks. The vulnerability, which affects SonicWalls SMA1000 remote access appliance, was discovered by Microsofts threat researchers and is confirmed as being actively exploited in the wild, according to SonicWall. The company hasnt said how many of its customers have been affected or if the company has the technical ability to confirm, but with more than 2,300 devices exposed to the internet, this bug has the potential to be the latest mass-hack of 2025.
