More than 100 notes to collect and read in South of Midnight are scattered throughout its 14 chapters. That might seem like a lot, but if you follow this and every other chapter guide I've posted so far, you'll see how it's straightforward to pick each one up along the way as you play through the game. And you'll want to grab them all because South of Midnight's storytelling, including these written notes, is by far the strongest part of the game. There are another 10 notes to collect in Chapter 6. Here's where to find them all. South of Midnight - Where To Find All Notes - Chapter 6 Chapter 6 doesn't give you much of a break compared to Chapter 5, as this chapter has 10, instead of 11, notes to pick up. As you'll see below, at least a few of them are clumped together. Keep Out Sign Materials - A little ways into the chapter, after using an echo of a crashed boat to jump across a river; you'll find the first note of the chapter on a box to your right. Abernathy's Lament - You'll find this note on the second level of the barn you go through to find the hole for Crouton to enter and get rid of the Stigma Knot blocking your path. To get there, you'll need to enter through the roof, which you can do by heading back the way you came through the barn, where an echo of a wagon is sitting and waiting to your left, behind a couple of trees trapped together with vines. Use the wagon to jump onto the roof of the barn, and through a hole in the roof you'll reach the second level which contains a health filament and the note. Burn After Reading - Once you see Bunny's cottage, before you walk through the gates you'll see a path to your left that leads to a combat encounter. Once you've cleared it, as you head back to Bunny's cottage you'll find this note resting on a box between two rocks to your right. Correction Requested - After walking through the gates to Bunny's cottage, walk around to the back of the cottage to find a large tree in her backyard and a small cabin to the right of the tree. Walk past the cabin and you'll see some sunflowers next to crates of honey, with the note resting on a honey crate. Notes on the Rogarou - You won't find this note, or the next three, until after completing the three combat encounters to get into Bunny's cottage. Thankfully, this note and the next three are all inside the cottage, so you're clearing through a bunch quickly. This first one is on a table in the room to your right once you walk in the door. Bunny's Journal - On Weavers - This note is in Bunny's bedroom on the second floor, on Bunny's left bedside table. Notes on Dreams and Fog - This note is also in Bunny's bedroom on the second floor, on Bunny's right bedside table. Missing Children List - You'll find this note in the secret room behind the bookshelf in Bunny's bedroom, on a desk towards the back of the secret room, to the left of where you'll see Huggin' Molly's red yarn. Burrowers Hate a Liar - After the cutscene with Bunny, and once you're in your new duds, follow the path away from the cottage and beyond a few exploding mushrooms. You'll find this note in a dead tree on the right side of the path. Huggin' Molly Sightings - After speaking to Catfish, follow the path beyond some more exploding mushrooms to the point where you'll see two paths. One that leads you to the tree Catfish was talking about by using your grapple, and the other to your left with the echo of a bridge. Take the left path to find another combat encounter, and once you've cleared it, you'll find this note on a box to your right as you exit the combat arena. These subclasses offer a fresh way to play every single main class in BG3, each of them with new abilities, spells, dialogue, and animations. Players can cast spells to help them gather resources and defeat enemies in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, but all magic spells require special ammunition that can only be crafted at a Rune Altar.

The final days of the AI Mathematical Olympiad’s latest competition were a transcontinental relay for team NVIDIA. Every evening, two team members on opposite ends of the U.S. would submit an AI reasoning model to Kaggle — the online Olympics of data science and machine learning. They’d wait a tense five hours before learning how well the model tackled a sample set of 50 complex math problems. After seeing the results, the U.S. team would pass the baton to teammates waking up in Armenia, Finland, Germany and Northern Ireland, who would spend their day testing, modifying and optimizing different model versions. “Every night I’d be so disappointed in our score, but then I’d wake up and see the messages that came in overnight from teammates in Europe,” said Igor Gitman, senior applied scientist. “My hopes would go up and we’d try again.” While the team was disheartened by their lack of improvement on the public dataset during the competition’s final days, the real test of an AI model is how well it can generalize to unseen data. That’s where their reasoning model leapt to the top of the leaderboard — correctly answering 34 out of 50 Olympiad questions within a five-hour time limit using a cluster of four NVIDIA L4 GPUs. “We got the magic in the end,” said Northern Ireland-based team member Darragh Hanley, a Kaggle grandmaster and senior large language model (LLM) technologist. Building a Winning Equation The NVIDIA team competed under the name NemoSkills — a nod to their use of the NeMo-Skills collection of pipelines for accelerated LLM training, evaluation and inference. The seven members each contributed different areas of expertise, spanning LLM training, model distillation and inference optimization. For the Kaggle challenge, over 2,200 participating teams submitted AI models tasked with solving 50 math questions — complex problems at the National Olympiad level, spanning algebra, geometry, combinatorics and number theory — within five hours. https://blogs.nvidia.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Sample-Reasoning-AI.mp4 The team’s winning model uses a combination of natural language reasoning and Python code execution. To complete this inference challenge on the small cluster of NVIDIA L4 GPUs available via Kaggle, the NemoSkills team had to get creative. Their winning model used Qwen2.5-14B-Base, a foundation model with chain-of-thought reasoning capabilities which the team fine-tuned on millions of synthetically generated solutions to math problems. These synthetic solutions were primarily generated by two larger reasoning models — DeepSeek-R1 and QwQ-32B — and used to teach the team’s foundation model via a form of knowledge distillation. The end result was a smaller, faster, long-thinking model capable of tackling complex problems using a combination of natural language reasoning and Python code execution. To further boost performance, the team’s solution reasons through multiple long-thinking responses in parallel before determining a final answer. To optimize this process and meet the competition’s time limit, the team also used an innovative early-stopping technique. A reasoning model might, for example, be set to answer a math problem 12 different times before picking the most common response. Using the asynchronous processing capabilities of NeMo-Skills and NVIDIA TensorRT-LLM, the team was able to monitor and exit inference early if the model had already converged at the correct answer four or more times. TensorRT-LLM also enabled the team to harness FP8 quantization, a compression method that resulted in a 1.5x speedup over using the more commonly used FP16 format. ReDrafter, a speculative decoding technique developed by Apple, was used for a further 1.8x speedup. The final model performed even better on the competition’s unseen final dataset than it did on the public dataset — a sign that the team successfully built a generalizable model and avoided overfitting their LLM to the sample data. “Even without the Kaggle competition, we’d still be working to improve AI reasoning models for math,” said Gitman. “But Kaggle gives us the opportunity to benchmark and discover how well our models generalize to a third-party dataset.” Sharing the Wealth  The team will soon release a technical report detailing the techniques used in their winning solution — and plans to share their dataset and a series of models on Hugging Face. The advancements and optimizations they made over the course of the competition have been integrated into NeMo-Skills pipelines available on GitHub. Key data, technology, and insights from this pipeline were also used to train the just-released NVIDIA Llama Nemotron Ultra model. “Throughout this collaboration, we used tools across the NVIDIA software stack,” said Christof Henkel, a member of the Kaggle Grandmasters of NVIDIA, known as KGMON. “By working closely with our LLM research and development teams, we’re able to take what we learn from the competition on a day-to-day basis and push those optimizations into NVIDIA’s open-source libraries.” After the competition win, Henkel regained the title of Kaggle World Champion — ranking No. 1 among the platform’s over 23 million users. Another teammate, Finland-based Ivan Sorokin, earned the Kaggle Grandmaster title, held by just over 350 people around the world. For their first-place win, the group also won a $262,144 prize that they’re directing to the NVIDIA Foundation to support charitable organizations. Worried about the uncertain ending of Daredevil: Born Again, and wondering when, if ever, the show will return for a second season? With seven years between the final installment of Netflix’s Daredevil and this year’s Daredevil: Born Again, nobody would blame you for assuming the wait will be a long one.  Fortunately, Disney Plus’ more MCU-integrated Daredevil series will return almost unbelievably soon, as far as the realm of comic book TV shows goes. And… there’s maybe even a season 3 on the way?  Daredevil: Born Again season 2: When will it come out?  Marvel Studios announced they were already planning a Daredevil: Born Again season 2 in August 2024 — not particularly surprising, as the show was initially conceived as a finite 18-episode series. While production was paused for the 2023 Hollywood strikes, Marvel execs made the decision to overhaul the show and rewrite and reshoot some of what had already been shot.  Speaking to The Reel Roundup in February, Marvel Studios head of streaming Brad Winderbaum said that shooting for Born Again season 2’s eight episodes would begin in the first week of March, with a plan to release the season in a year — placing the season premiere in early 2026.  “Hopefully,” Winderbaum concluded, “we’ll be able to expect a new Daredevil season annually.” Marvel Studios hasn’t made any official announcements about a Born Again season 3, however. Though it has announced that it’s working on a solo TV special for Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, also set to air in 2026, at least according to The Hollywood Reporter.  What will Daredevil: Born Again season 2 be about?  We can’t say for certain, but Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Vincent D’Onofrio (Kingpin), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen), Wilson Bethel (Bullseye), Clark Johnson (Cherry), Genneya Walton (BB Urich), and Michael Gandolfini (Fisk’s smarmy little Yes Man, Daniel) are all confirmed to return, so expect their plotlines to continue.  Also confirmed to return? Elden Henson (Foggy), despite his character’s death, curiously enough. Could be a flashback, could be a Catholic-guilt-laden dream or hallucination — heck, in the wide world of Marvel Comics Daredevil stories, it wouldn’t be unheard of for Matt to make a trip to literal hell to get Foggy back. We’ll have to wait and see.  [Ed. note: The rest of this piece contains spoilers for the end of Daredevil: Born Again season 1.] How does Fisk leave office in the comics?  That’s the million-dollar question asked at the end of Daredevil: Born Again: How can Matt Murdock prevail against a man with criminal and institutional power? Not alone, the finale episode implies, but with the united front of all his allies, vigilantes and civilians alike.  But it’s likely left you wondering how this all turned out in the comics. Daredevil: Born Again is heavily influenced by writer Charles Soule’s 2015 run on Daredevil, in which Wilson Fisk became mayor and a mysterious serial killer/graffiti artist called Muse went on a killing spree. But when Soule left the book in 2018, Fisk was still in power!  In the comics, Wilson Fisk didn’t actually lose the mayoral seat until the Devil’s Reign story arc, from writer Chip Zdarsky and artist Marco Checchetto, in which a city attorney witnesses him beating Matt Murdock to death (it wasn’t actually Matt, it was a guy who looked just like him, but don’t worry about that). It doesn’t seem like Born Again is headed in exactly that direction, but a reputable and righteous witness to one of his acts of brutality would be one way Born Again could get him out of Gracie Mansion.  But if we go back to Soule’s Daredevil, there may be another answer. Fisk does not leave office during Soule’s work, but Matt is still able to use his resources as a district attorney and as Daredevil to dissuade Fisk from enacting his anti-superhuman registration act, eking out at least that win. That could be one direction that Born Again’s writers choose to go in, with Daredevil torpedoing Fisk’s plans to make Red Hook a haven from the law but in a way that leaves the Kingpin’s mayoralty intact.  We’ll find out in 2026!
