So, there’s this thing going on. Final days to apply for $32,000 in artist grants for Decentraland Art Week 2025. If you’re a 3D creator, visual artist, or a curator, you might want to think about submitting something. Or not. I mean, it’s up to you.
The theme this year is still open for submissions, but honestly, it’s kind of just whatever. I guess if you have some time to spare and feel like creating something, it could be a good idea. If you’re into that kind of thing.
Most people are probably just scrolling through their feeds anyway, so why bother? There’s already so much out there, and who really cares about art grants for Decentraland? La critique du matelas en latex organique Silk & Snow S&S. Honnêtement, c’est un matelas, et il est un peu comme n’importe quel autre. Il est censé être doux comme un nuage, ce qui est un bon point, je suppose. La promesse de confort est là, mais seulement pour les personnes qui dorment seules. Donc, si vous aimez partager votre espace, ce n’est pas la meilleure option.
Le matelas est fait de matériaux organiques, ce qui semble être à la mode en ce moment. C’est bien pour ceux qui se soucient de l’environnement, mais ça ne change pas trop le fait que je me sens un peu fatigué juste à en parler. Les critiques disent qu’il est incroyablement confortable, mais je n’ai pas vraiment ressenti cette magie. Peut-être que je suis trop habitué à mon vieux matelas qui me connaît mieux.
Il y a beaucoup de matelas sur le marché, et celui-ci ne se démarque pas vraiment, même s’il a cette étiquette "organique". Je suppose que pour une personne qui aime dormir seule, c’est une option. Mais pour moi, c’est juste un autre matelas qui fait le job. Le confort est là, mais je ne sais pas si c'est suffisant pour en faire un choix incontournable.

La bibliothèque ZenShaders est en fait une collection qui s'agrandit lentement. Elle propose des matériaux, des outils, des textures et des pinceaux. Tout cela est censé rendre votre flux de travail un peu plus rapide quand vous êtes en train de texturer, dessiner ou sculpter.
Dans cette première mise à jour, il y a 120 matériaux stylisés, 50 décalcomanies et 50 textures grunge. Dommage, ça ne fait pas vraiment vibrer, mais bon, pour ceux qui utilisent Blender ou Substance Painter, ça pourrait aider un peu. Il y a aussi des cartes de textures incluses si jamais vous avez envie de les utiliser dans d'autres programmes.
Franchement, on est loin de l'excitation. C'est juste une autre bibliothèque parmi tant d'autres. Qui sait, peut-être qu'un jour, ça deviendra vraiment utile. Pour l'instant, ça reste un peu plat.
Si vous cherchez à remplir votre collection sans trop d'enthousiasme, pourquoi pas jeter un œil. Mais encore une fois, n'attendez pas de miracles.

GOG is talking about game preservation again. Apparently, they think it’s a big deal. They’ve got this whole GOG Preservation Program now. Seems like they really want to keep old games alive or something. Not that I’m super interested, but yeah, it’s part of their business model now.
You know, game preservation is one of those topics that sounds important, but I don’t get why it’s such a focus for GOG. I mean, we have so many games already. Do we really need to save every single one? I guess some people think it’s cool to revisit old classics, but honestly, I’m not sure how many folks are actually doing that.
The whole idea of preserving games seems a bit… I don’t know, unnecessary? I can’t shake the feeling that it’s just a way for GOG to make more money. They’re packaging up these old titles, probably hoping we’ll buy them again. It’s like, “Look, it’s a classic!” But, is it really that exciting?
I can see why they’d want to make it part of their business strategy. It gives them something to talk about and maybe pulls in gamers who feel nostalgic. But for me, it’s a bit of a snooze-fest. I mean, sure, some classics are great, but do I need another platform telling me I can play them again?

من ناحية أخرى، Mondly VR تدعي أنها تقدم طريقة مبتكرة لتعلم اللغة. يعني، بدلاً من الطرق التقليدية، يمكننا الآن نغمر أنفسنا في بيئات تفاعلية. لكن، هل هذا كافي؟
